• The swimming pools were great as well as the attractiveness of the room
• We were booked a room at the very end of hall with one elevator in the middle.

“The attractiveness of the room was great and clean. However there were a few things we were not told when we were checking in. First, you have to show a security guard your key before you are allowed on the elevator. Secondly, we were given a room at the end a very long hall that seemed a mile long. In addition, the two keys we were given did not work all the time and we had to call our other room guest for their key.”

• Great location easy parking, friendly guest, lots of winning on the machines.
• Poor cleaning crew, did not stock coffee , and other guest supplies, but charged for it.

• The convenience, the friendly staff & the atmosphere.

“My purpose for visiting Las Vegas was to pick up airport travelers. This hotel is convenient, off the strip so not so rushed and crowded, the staff is most helpful and friendly and the hotel has a large variety of restaurants to fit any taste.”

• Clean, large rooms, safe, good location, affordable.
• Parking was often a very long walk from the elevator/room.

• The suites are fabulous.

“We checked in late, therefore,no regular rooms were available. Although this could have been a bad thing, it turned out to be great for us, because we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite, with a living room, bar and dining room table. This room was very nice. We could even open the bathroom window (very small) on the 20th floor. Now we left there and went to the hilton in at the LAX. We also checked in late and they had no rooms available after I had already guranteed my room with a credit card. However, they made us wait 40 minutes until they cleaned a room for us, that was on a smoking floor, which I did not request. It smelled and was dusty and old looking. We had to jump through hoops to get a better room on a better floor. Unlike the Orleans in Vegas, they didn't hesitate to give us a suite.”

• Staff was helpful, courteous and adaptive. From the valet, bellman, front desk all good.
• Needed a fridge for the price, internet way overpriced!

“The Orleans is a good value. The staff is competent and very courteous. Rooms are well-appointed and comfortable mini-suites. Internet is overpriced at $13 a day. Bellmen were particularly good at what they do asking all the right questions and having the answers.”

• The clerk was helpful and understanding when registering.
• Bad atmosphere, definitely a more adult place, the parking was way out of the way and the shuttle to the airport wasn't provide.

“The parking was located what seemed like a mile away. I was not prepared to see cocktail waitresses so untidy dressed. To be honest with you, I was afraid to sleep on the sheets and did not have a good nights sleep. I will not ever stay there again.”

• Clean spacious rooms.
• They added a $5 daily charge to cover in room coffee, etc.

“The rooms were clean and spacious. I did not like the $5 a day charge applied to your room for in room coffee, ten minute internet access, etc.”

• It had a very nice and fun atmosphere. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable!
• Nothing!

“The Orleans was beautiful, friendly, fun and overall wonderful. It was reasonably priced and since it has a free shuttle to the strip I would definitely stay here again! In my opinion, you can't go wrong at the Orleans!”

• It was very clean and did not feel crowded.
• The pool area was not open early in the morning.

“Although this hotel is not right on the strip, there is a shuttle to take you to the strip and back again. The selection of VLT's was great and just wandering through the casino was entertaining. There were lots of restaurants to chose from. Our room was very quiet by the time we went to bed.”

• The air conditioning was so loud. It sounded like A tractor was crashing through the room.

“At the Orleans, first off we had to wait in the hall way for an elevator for over 15 minutes every time. But the worst was that the AC in the room kept us up all night! What a joke that place.”

“It's now the 21st century. We live in US. It's so ridiculous to charge $15/night for the internet access. The internet should be free. I went to Bellagio to use their free internet.”

• Pool hours - very bad, they need to be longer into the evening for the romantic or the athletic person.

• After the room was cleaned there was still trash around the bed.

“Overall good experience. Helpful staff, great look to the hotel and decorations. The only problem was the phone in the room didn't work and after the room was cleaned, they left trash on the table and counters as well as dirty towels.”

“Old-school Vegas hotel. Few amenities in the room but it was inexpensive, large and clean. We asked for a no-smoking room and the desk clerk put us in smoking then claimed that was all that was available, but we can spray something in your room. We returned to the desk to get our money back and another desk clerk quickly found us a no-smoking room.”

“The hotel location is off the Strip so I was able to avoid all the traffic congestion. The deluxe rooms were very spacious. The cocktail waitresses came by often and the service was quick, not like some other casinos where I would have to track down a waitress.”

• Our room was smoked filled from the person next door and this was a non-smoking floor.

“My wife and I didn't enjoy stay (we got sick) that much after complaining about a strong odor of smoke in the room and being told by the front desk staff that it is from the hallway (on a non-smoking floor!). Our 2nd room still had an odor of smoke but less.”

• It is horribly smoky. The ventilation system is not very good.

• Beautiful room, pretty good food, the casino was great.
• I liked it pretty well, no complaints.

“The hotel room was lovely with a nice, large bathroom. The casino was a lot of fun with plenty of slot machines to take your money all away. The restaurants were pretty good and it was great to have something open all night. Everything was so convenient. And, while we were there some famous drag racers were signing autographs an added bonus.”

• Great room, wonderful amenities, including a bowling alley and movie theatres. Great!
• Crowded! Too many smokers. They should have a separate area for non-smokers.

“This was a great experience. My first time at Orleans and I'd definitely go again. As with all Las Vegas Hotels, there are way too many smokers, smoking wherever they please which is highly annoying not to mention unhealthy. If they were to segregate the smokers from the non-smokers, that would make for an even better experience. Just a suggestion, although I know it will never happen. But overall, a wonderful place to stay.”
