• The place was great! We had a huge room with an amazing bathroom that was about the size of a normal hotel room, waterfall shower, and Jacuzzi tub music.
• The buffet in the casino was not the best.

“This is a great property. Lots of space and off the strip and action of Vegas which we like. The room service was a1 and all the staff really was the most helpful and friendly of any staff anywhere. We loved the pools and the cabañas at pool side.”

• You have to go through the casino to get to and from the spa.

• The food in the promenade restaurant was not that great.

“I loved this hotel. It is definitely not for the traveler who wants the glitz of Las Vegas. It is perfect for the travelers who like the idea of visiting "the strip" and then coming here to enjoy a respite from the hoards of humanity and the garish atmosphere of Las Vegas.”

• The hotel was luxurious, with a friendly, attentive staff.
• One of the at-your-service operators was rude to my wife.

“My wife and I needed a break in the worst way. The jaw Marriott lass Vegas resort was perfect. We arrived to a very friendly, efficient check-in in the evening hours. Our room was well appointed but our sheets had a number of hairs on them from the laundry. The hotel staff bent over backwards to solve this problem and gave us free breakfast for the remainder of our stay. We also had an issue with a package that was received by the hotel on Monday but we were not told until Wednesday that it was there. The manager gave us a bottle of wine and chocolate dipped strawberries to apologize. Meanwhile, the valets all knew our Name and made us feel welcomed all the time. In short, things were not perfect, but they were still what we expected from a top rate hotel, and the staff made us feels not only valued but appreciated. Our room enhanced our experience as it was spacious, had a view, and we well-though out and comfortable. We left feeling like we had been at a fine resort with our batteries recharged. The grounds are also well-manicured and inviting. We did not feel like we were at lass Vegas at all, which is what we wanted.”

• The atmosphere.
• The hot tub was out doors and not warms enough.

“I really enjoyed my stay with my two children. The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We were there in January and my children wanted to get in the hot tub. The only draw back was that it wasn't warm enough and there was no way for us to adjust it. I would definitely stay there again and look forward to it this summer when the weather is a little warmer and the pool is open.”

• Overall friendly employees.
• I felt they did not go out of their way for me to have an enjoyable stay. No accommodations offered for my poor experience.

“At first glance the property was beautiful. Unfortunately our stay got a little unpleasant after that. Once we checked in after a long drive we noticed our room had some graffiti on a wall. When we used our guest book, there was scribbling all over the book, (kids doodling). Both were reported to the front desk, they apologized and made the decision all they could do was move us across the way. Well we were too tired to repack and move. The next day we tried to order a movie and enjoy a quiet morning in room; the movie option was down indefinitely. It took three tries talking to the front desk over a 6 hour period to come up with this conclusion. We came back from an evening out and entered the hallway to our room, and immediately got a whiff of dirty diapers. Walking closure to our room we heard the wailing of a crying baby. Need I say more, merry Christmas? Hopefully you can have a better experience.”

• The pool area was fantastic. Ate at the Carmel room, service was excellent as well as the food.
• Everything was divine.

“The staff were great, checking in and out was a breeze. The valet was courteous and respectful. The room was super clean and well stocked. The bed was great. We had dinner in the Carmel Cafe which was absolutely fabulous. We then went for a drink at the Irish joint and the band and everybody there was great. What a change from the strip if you want to go to Vegas but don't want a hassle, the strip this is the place. I will be back and bring my kids. Very kid friendly.”

• The spa was very luxurious. The concierge went out of their way to take care of us.
• The valet threw our car keys to his partner and they slid on the asphalt. It is an electronic key and could have caused damage.

• Outstanding views of the mountains west of Vegas, great restaurants onsite, wonderful staff, divine bathrooms, superb beds, WOW.
• Smokey casino that must be crossed to get to restaurants.

“Off the beaten path from the hectic strip, yet just a short drive away from it all. Outstanding grounds and setting. Lovely salt water pool, very refreshing even on the hottest days, and we experience 106'F ! Rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable, the BEST beds. Views of the mountains are breathtaking. We are repeat guests and stay at the JW every time we travel to Vegas. Highly recommended. A +++++ locale ! Bravo !”

• Open quiet surroundings. Awesome pool area. I loved rain shower.
• I cannot think of any.

“This was my kind of hotel. Peaceful and quiet. It has a large tropical pool area with waterfall plus flowing streams everywhere. Very comfortable bed. Spa tub and rain shower in very luxurious bathroom. We stay here a few times a year just to get away and we live in Las Vegas.”

• The room was beautiful and oversize. It had a Jacuzzi tub and all the amenities you'd expect.
• I had to walk to an adjacent building in the heat.

“This hotel was awesome- it has everything and then some. We were very pleased with everything except check in. Check-in went smooth, but we were told to walk to an adjacent building in 105 degree (F) weather while carrying bags and a car seat.”

• Beautiful setting away from the strip.
• No extra features at pool like water slide.

“A great beautiful setting. If you have a rental car, convenient to lots of things like restaurants, theaters, shopping - even bowling is just a few minutes away. a great place to take kids, or just go with your spouse. Angel Park across the street has a great par 3 course and very fun putting course. We will definitely go back!”

• Hotel is very spread out and takes sometime to get from one area to another.

“Rooms are very large with extremely comfortable beds. Bathrooms are large with walk in shower equipped with rain head shower. There is also a jetted tub. Our room had a large patio with table and lounge chairs overlooking waterfall, upgraded without request.”

“The JW Marriott Las Vegas is a great property. Service was excellent. Rooms were large and nicely furnished. The only complaint is the inconvenient free parking areas, they were difficult to find and were not close to the building. Valet parking attendants were somewhat aggressive.”

• Great location away from the Strip, very clean and luxurious ¿ overall.
• The pool was closed - out of season. $20 Spa pool was available only to 18 Years and older.

“My teenage daughter thought this was the nicest hotel she ever stayed in, but was disappointed that the pool was not open on the sunny 70+ degree day we were there. The pool was closed during the winter.”

• Perfect experience! We felt that this was the top visit from all the many hotels we have stayed in. Absolute excellence!!
• We wish that there had not been an additional charge for the fitness facilities.

“This is an amazing property located in Sunny Las Vegas. It was away from the hassle and bustle of the strip yet close to the highway which made everything in town very accessible. The room exceeded our expectations and was immaculately cared for with many extras! We loved our stay so much that we will seek out this hotel option whenever available in the future! Thank you for the awesome experience.”

• Nothing to do. Few restaurants. A bit far from Strip.

“It is a typical Marriott room with older style furniture. Would not recommend this hotel for first time Las Vegas visitors. Stay near the Strip. The big plus was the large Jacuzzi tub. The separate shower was dark and over the head shower head had mold growing from it. Rooms had tiny, non walk able balconies. Overall, I would not stay here again.”

• This hotel had beautiful rooms, and in particular the bathrooms are incredible!
• The worst thing you can say about this hotel is that it's a bit out of the way.

• Absolutely gorgeous hotel room (big, too) and lovely views. I loved the bathroom.
• Staff did not always bend over backwards to help us.

“We loved this hotel and I did not care that we were not on the strip. The short drive was worth it. Each night, after our feet were aching, we would slip into the huge whirlpool tub and use the jets to massage our feet. The room was bigger than I would have ever seen. It was beautiful.”

• Not far from Las Vegas Strip but traffic was horrible.

“Very nice resort that I would stay at again. However, if you wish to visit the Strip the traffic to and from was horrible. This is not the hotel's fault but it must be a consideration if you plan to visit the Strip.”

• I Loved the big Jacuzzi tub and rain shower in the bathroom.
• Parking can be a little far away if you don not use valet parking.

“We always choose this hotel when we go to Vegas. It is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The hotel is beautiful and our room had nice views. It is quiet and clean. The rooms are well appointed, have comfortable beds and great bathrooms.”

• Best off the strip. All rooms have whirlpool tubs and rain showers. Bed was wonderful.
• Getting to the pool area.

• Extremely elegant and romantic. Staff was superb, and rooms were absolutely gorgeous! Couldn't have been happier!
• No complaints at all.

“I've stayed in five star hotels all over the world, and this is one of the most gorgeous and romantic hotels I've ever seen. The room was absolutely elegant and perfectly spotless. The staff went the extra mile and was always helpful and friendly. We couldn't believe the great deal we got for such a wonderful hotel! We will definitely go back to the J.W. Marriott!”

• The room was one of the best I have ever been in. My wife loved the bathroom with the Jacuzzi and I loved the rain shower.
• It's a little bit away from the Strip, but worth the trip back and forth.

“My wife has been at JW Marriott several times and loved it every time. I have never been there, so she wanted me to share in the experience. We enjoy the room and the surroundings around the hotel. I have traveled almost all over the US on business and JW Marriott is one of the best hotels I have been in. It is an oasis in the desert. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“The hotel was clean and quiet. One obstacle we felt is going through the lobby of the hotel to get to the pool. The pool is quite far from the room.”

• I love the luxurious bathroom!! The tub and the overhead shower are so relaxing!!

“The staff is awesome! Once you arrive you really do not have to leave for anything!! You have it all right there food,spa,and even a nightclub!! They offer shuttel service to the airport and even a local shopping mall that sits on the busuling Las Vegas Strip. I would recommend the JW Marriott to anyone!!”
