“Loved this hotel and would definitively return again.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Christie from Los Angeles, CA
“This hotel is nice - the restrooms are lovely with a two person Jacuzzi tub. Their 24 hour cafe had decent food. The pina coladas they served in the casino were very tasty - probably the best gambling drink I've had in a casino in quite a while. My biggest critique is that the TV in the room was pretty outdated, and they should have actual refrigerators instead of coolers.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Jane from Appleton, WI
“Beautiful grounds, fabulous pool, great staff and food. They really know how to make your stay a memorable one.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Fred from El Monte, CA
“This was a lavish treat and a great time was had by my whole family. If you drive to Vegas, I'd recommend this place to anyone, even with small kids. You're away from the strip enough to really feel like you are getting away, but if you feel like doing anything you would in a strip hotel you can do it here. Sports book, all casino games, slots, 5* restaurants, buffet, 24 hrs diner (thanks for the shrimp cocktail). Great place.” May 12, 2008 by
Eris from Henderson, NV
“Overall experience was amazing. Hotel is beautifully appointed with much attention to detail. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Rooms are very nice.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Adrian from Costa Mesa, CA
“I love it.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Brian from Fort Worth, TX
“The hotel was beautiful.” Mar 30, 2008 by
David from Asheville, NC
“Great place to stay in Vegas if you do not want to be on the strip. Recommended for anyone, great for golfers and families.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Dave from New Brighton, MN
“One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Nice room, Great bathroom, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained; the pool was very big and clean. Rampart casino which is connected is quiet, not smoky and (compared to the strip) has low limits with favorable rules/odds.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Ben from Clovis, CA
“Perfect place to relax and spend some alone time with your wife. Golf courses all around good restaurants and only 10 minutes from the strip.” Feb 23, 2008 by
Dennis
“The best Spa I have ever been to. The employees were wonderful. The outside of the resort looks like an oasis. Just gorgeous.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Bob from San Francisco, CA
“Avoid at all costs, this hotel is a tragic dump.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Steve from Coronado, CA
“Nice area close to red rock canyon. Good alternative for those that want to be away from the strip but a little out of the way for those that are planning to spend a lot of time going to shows and strip restaurants. Although this Marriott hotel is non-smoking the casino does allow smoking and is not as well vented as some of the larger casinos.” Oct 3, 2007 by
Jim from Laguna Niguel, CA
“While this is a beautiful resort & have stayed before, we were disappointed when the pool had been closed because another guest brought a baby into the pool without a swim diaper. Then of course, the baby defecated in the pool causing the resort to close the pool for 24 hours. That would be acceptable had the staff properly warned other guests and posted signs not to enter the pool. My young children waded into the pool, as did I, and were not stopped or told about the pool closure until after we had entered the water. It's quite disgusting, not to mention dangerous. They need to implement better procedures to protect other guests when some people allow their child to poop in the pool. Also the pillows in the rooms were lumpy.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 19, 2007 by
Doug from Memphis, TN
“The hotel is a resort property in a nice suburb of Las Vegas. Guests get priority and outstanding rates at the TPC Canyons golf course which is adjacent to the property (and one of the best courses in Las Vegas). While parking is not convenient (especially to the Palms Tower), valet parking is available free of charge. The property is well-maintained and attractive, with large pool, spa and exercise facilities. I would stay here again -- if solely to gain cheap rate at TPC golf course, although if you are coming to Las Vegas for the experience of the Strip, this would not be the place to stay, as it is pretty far removed from the Strip.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Bill from Surprise, AZ
“Hotel was comfortable everywhere I went, except to sleep. Bed was hard, over sized and regular sized pillows were awkward and uncomfortable. If all I wanted to do was go to bed and sleep I would have checked out the first night.” Aug 14, 2007 by
Lynne from Reno, NV
“This is a lovely upscale hotel, I can't complain about anything. The bed was sumptuous, the bathroom very elegant.” Jul 13, 2007 by
J from Fontana, CA
“This is the best kept secret in Las Vegas. I nearly always stay at the JW when I'm in Vegas. It is my wife's favorite hotel since it is the only resort property in Summer lint. The property is away from the strip and downtown and you don't have to enter through the casino to get to your room. Very family friendly.” Jun 6, 2007 by
Mike from Vernon, BC CA
“Have stayed here 5 times. Overall housekeeping was not very good in our room. There were also some maintenance issues including a dripping toilet that instead of fixing, housekeeping just replaced the towel under the toilet daily. Public areas and pool are first rate.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 15, 2007 by
Angie from Houston, TX
“The hotel and facilities were beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was heavenly with enough pillows to suit any desired firmness. The view from the balcony (of the golf course, pool, and grounds) was wonderful. The grounds were nice for an evening stroll. The large bathroom included a lovely "rainforest" shower head in the marble shower, and a relaxing, corner whirlpool tub. The only thing missing was in-room wireless internet.” May 6, 2007 by
Aj from Las Vegas, NV
“The best resort I have ever stayed at. The J.W. Marriott far exceeded my expectations. I am thoroughly pleased with my stay and highly recommend this property to anyone.” May 2, 2007 by
Mason from Chino Hills, CA
“Fantastic hotel with wonderful pool, restaurants, casino, and facilities. Restaurants were very reasonable.” May 2, 2007 by
Stephanie from Kennesaw, GA
“I wish I would have been able to stay longer at this hotel. A little to pricy for me but overall great.” Apr 19, 2007 by
Lynn from Los Angeles, CA
“It is beautiful, nice for family or singles. As an older couple, we found the atmosphere was serene in some areas; the casino was sufficient and appropriate. The spa was excellent. We were able to have convenient parking with free valet every time. Our romantic weekend was superb.” Apr 5, 2007 by
Jake from Idaho Falls, ID
“Great place to stay.” Mar 15, 2007 by
Kenton from Sedona, AZ
“This is a great property. Lots of space and off the strip and action of Vegas which we like. The room service was a1 and all the staff really was the most helpful and friendly of any staff anywhere. We loved the pools and the cabañas at pool side.” Mar 1, 2007 by
Anna from Prescott, AZ
“Wonderful hotel. The bathrooms are fantastic and the spa was amazing!” Feb 28, 2007 by
Lisa from Overland Park, KS
“I loved this hotel. It is definitely not for the traveler who wants the glitz of Las Vegas. It is perfect for the travelers who like the idea of visiting "the strip" and then coming here to enjoy a respite from the hoards of humanity and the garish atmosphere of Las Vegas.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 26, 2007 by
Kelly from Centennial, CO
“Great hotel for relaxing. Concierge was so friendly and helpful. Room was luxurious! Grounds are beautiful. Lovely getaway!!” Feb 9, 2007 by
Bev from La Canada, AR
“Beautiful hotel on wonderful grounds away from the frenetic pace and traffic of the strip. The casino has friendly dealers and more comfortable (lower) table betting minimums.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Feb 4, 2007 by
Steve from South Pasadena, CA
“My wife and I needed a break in the worst way. The jaw Marriott lass Vegas resort was perfect. We arrived to a very friendly, efficient check-in in the evening hours. Our room was well appointed but our sheets had a number of hairs on them from the laundry. The hotel staff bent over backwards to solve this problem and gave us free breakfast for the remainder of our stay. We also had an issue with a package that was received by the hotel on Monday but we were not told until Wednesday that it was there. The manager gave us a bottle of wine and chocolate dipped strawberries to apologize. Meanwhile, the valets all knew our Name and made us feel welcomed all the time. In short, things were not perfect, but they were still what we expected from a top rate hotel, and the staff made us feels not only valued but appreciated. Our room enhanced our experience as it was spacious, had a view, and we well-though out and comfortable. We left feeling like we had been at a fine resort with our batteries recharged. The grounds are also well-manicured and inviting. We did not feel like we were at lass Vegas at all, which is what we wanted.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jan 24, 2007 by

“I really enjoyed my stay with my two children. The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We were there in January and my children wanted to get in the hot tub. The only draw back was that it wasn't warm enough and there was no way for us to adjust it. I would definitely stay there again and look forward to it this summer when the weather is a little warmer and the pool is open.” Jan 1, 2007 by
James from Monroe, LA
“Awesome suite.” Dec 23, 2006 by
Cathy from Chino Hills
“At first glance the property was beautiful. Unfortunately our stay got a little unpleasant after that. Once we checked in after a long drive we noticed our room had some graffiti on a wall. When we used our guest book, there was scribbling all over the book, (kids doodling). Both were reported to the front desk, they apologized and made the decision all they could do was move us across the way. Well we were too tired to repack and move. The next day we tried to order a movie and enjoy a quiet morning in room; the movie option was down indefinitely. It took three tries talking to the front desk over a 6 hour period to come up with this conclusion. We came back from an evening out and entered the hallway to our room, and immediately got a whiff of dirty diapers. Walking closure to our room we heard the wailing of a crying baby. Need I say more, merry Christmas? Hopefully you can have a better experience.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 21, 2006 by

“Beautiful grounds, buildings, and rooms. Located just far enough away from the Las Vegas Strip to be away from it all, without being TOO far away!” Aug 23, 2006 by
David from Washington, UT
“The staff were great, checking in and out was a breeze. The valet was courteous and respectful. The room was super clean and well stocked. The bed was great. We had dinner in the Carmel Cafe which was absolutely fabulous. We then went for a drink at the Irish joint and the band and everybody there was great. What a change from the strip if you want to go to Vegas but don't want a hassle, the strip this is the place. I will be back and bring my kids. Very kid friendly.” Aug 17, 2006 by
Maryann from Redlands, CA
“We enjoyed a relaxing weekend of luxury.” Jul 20, 2006 by
David from West Hills, CA
“What a great place! Not too far from the Strip and yet far enough to be away from it. Beautiful pool with waterfalls. Great places to eat and a casino as well.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 19, 2006 by
Terry from Massena, NY
“Off the beaten path from the hectic strip, yet just a short drive away from it all. Outstanding grounds and setting. Lovely salt water pool, very refreshing even on the hottest days, and we experience 106'F ! Rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable, the BEST beds. Views of the mountains are breathtaking. We are repeat guests and stay at the JW every time we travel to Vegas. Highly recommended. A +++++ locale ! Bravo !” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jun 29, 2006 by
David from Las Vegas, NV
“This was my kind of hotel. Peaceful and quiet. It has a large tropical pool area with waterfall plus flowing streams everywhere. Very comfortable bed. Spa tub and rain shower in very luxurious bathroom. We stay here a few times a year just to get away and we live in Las Vegas.” Jun 27, 2006 by
Anne-Marie from Clovis, CA
“This hotel was awesome- it has everything and then some. We were very pleased with everything except check in. Check-in went smooth, but we were told to walk to an adjacent building in 105 degree (F) weather while carrying bags and a car seat.” Jun 12, 2006 by
Teresa from Colorado Springs, CO
“Will definitely stay here again!” Jun 1, 2006 by
Mark from Corona, CA
“This is the perfect hotel to be away from the strip, but close enough to get to the strip quickly. The hotel is simply stunning!! The rooms are amazing and the bed truly is "heavenly". A true 6-Star Hotel in an excellent location. We will go again...” May 31, 2006 by
Terry from Covina, CA
“Food and restaurants very acceptable, very close to golf and the greatest thing was the Jacuzzi tub.” May 31, 2006 by
Dana from Las Vegas, NV
“The hotel was great but was disappointed to find I could have gotten the room cheaper on the hotels site.” Apr 23, 2006 by
Chris from Park City, UT
“A great beautiful setting. If you have a rental car, convenient to lots of things like restaurants, theaters, shopping - even bowling is just a few minutes away. a great place to take kids, or just go with your spouse. Angel Park across the street has a great par 3 course and very fun putting course. We will definitely go back!” Apr 5, 2006 by
Vickey from Windsor, CA
“Rooms are very large with extremely comfortable beds. Bathrooms are large with walk in shower equipped with rain head shower. There is also a jetted tub. Our room had a large patio with table and lounge chairs overlooking waterfall, upgraded without request.” Mar 16, 2006 by
Tracy from Middletown, CT
“The JW Marriott Las Vegas is a great property. Service was excellent. Rooms were large and nicely furnished. The only complaint is the inconvenient free parking areas, they were difficult to find and were not close to the building. Valet parking attendants were somewhat aggressive.” Mar 15, 2006 by
Tracy from Middletown, CT
“The hotel is about 20-25 minutes from the strip, with big rooms and bathrooms, and very nice amenities, a wonderful value if you are willing to rent a car and drive around the area, we were very pleased with everything.” Mar 14, 2006 by
Leo from Kingsburg, CA
“Very nice out of the way resort. Rooms are very nice with awesome restrooms. Staff not so helpful but casino is the best. Assortment of games with payout.”
