• Exceeded my expectations, beautiful well thought rooms.

“Very friendly staff, allowed me to check in a little earlier than supposed to in order to let me rest. Rooms were nicer than expected, seem to be very safe.”

• Extremely comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms.
• Non smoking eating areas are not away enough to avoid smoke.

“Very attractive building, nice parking area. The check in lobby should be in a different area than so close to the gambling tables. There should be a lobby leading to the elevator rather than having to walk through the casino. It is awkward with luggage, and the smoke and noise are disturbing after hours of travel.”

• Rooms were clean, many restaurants to choose from.
• Very far away from the main strip and shuttle bus is too infrequent.

“A comfortable hotel, with many types of restaurants to choose from. Staff was overall helpful and friendly. About 30 minutes from the main strip, however, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the strip, as well as the airport. Buses are not frequent enough though!”

• Off the strip, for safety reason. Gamers are polite.
• Spa is outdoors. For looks it is good but not practical for users.

“Our family stayed in Suncoast for one night with a positive impression. The directions for the location are easy just off the freeway. We had a room on the 8th floor with breathtaking views of the hills toward the golf course. The bowling center in the hotel is very well run and fun to play in. First we noticed a high proportion of seniors in the gaming area but everyone was polite, more so than the strip. The only disaster we had was at the oyster bar, Christmas eve and there was one waitress, you can imagine the rest. Overall will come back again.”

• Grungy around base of toilet in room.

“Great hotel off the strip with large rooms. Be sure to request room overlooking golf course and mountains great views and quiet. Convenient to freeway and ten min. To strip properties. Parking is very good if choosing not to valet park not too long a walk.”

• It's a very nice property I've stayed there many times and will continue.
• The room was not supplied with soap, shampoo etc.

“The valet is great, the check in process was smooth, they had my reservation no problems. However, housekeeping dropped the ball on stocking the bathroom. It was not until my second night did the bathroom get stocked correctly.”

• Great view Large room

“If you don't need to be in downtown LV or on the strip, this hotel represents an outstanding value. Large well appointed rooms, great view, and an abundance of features. (Theater, restaurants, ice cream patlour, casino, etc.) About a 15 minute drive from the strip and half the cost for a nice room They also have a shuttle to and from the strip if you prefer. Will stay here again the next time.”

• The rooms were large and the beds comfortable.
• Too much smoke (but it's a casino what do expect).

“I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The location was about 20 minutes from the strip (which was great) and offered a scenic view of the mountainside and a beautiful golf course. My only complaint was the walk through the "smoky" casino to the elevators. The hotel/casino design was poorly laid out and by the time I arrived at my room, my clothes smelt of cigarettes (something I personally deplore). Overall the trip was pleasurable and for you gamblers, the odds at the slots and tables kept me gaming for hours.”

• The room was nice and spacious. Great view of golf course.
• The room didn't have a refrigerator. The choices of restaurants were limited.

“In general, hotel service was good. The room was nice and reasonably priced. Also, the lobby exhaust system needs to be improved as you could smell cigarettes all over.”

• Great view of Golf course and mountains.
• Had to walk through casino to get to hotel tower. We always smelled like smoke.

“Hotel room was clean with great view of golf course and mountains ($15 upgrade at check-in). Food staff was friendly, breakfast food was slightly above average with great fresh fruit. Has a movie theatre conveniently located in casino.”

• Great room. Great value. nice people
• The television stations were limited but the TV was large

“The sun coast is a new casino off the strip that is in a beautiful location. The amenities were excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The shuttles kept you in contact with the strip and airport. all in all a wonderful experience”

• Movie theater and bowling alley on-site. Close to three golf courses and major restaurants.
• Clogged shower drain.

• For the price, it was an exceptional value.
• Nothing. I liked it all.

“We actually were shocked at what we received. When we arrived to check in, they ran out of regular rooms, so they upgraded us to a three-room suite. This suite had six TV's, a wet bar, marble throughout, two huge bedrooms. We felt so elegant staying there!”

• Poor Room Service.

“We chose the LV West area to be out of the noise and traffic of the LV Strip. We drove to LV, and used it as a base to visit the Grand Canyon and see a show or two. The Sun coast has good free parking, although you must walk through part of the casino to the hotel elevators and the desk. The shop near the elevators was surprisingly inexpensive for beer/wine, sodas and many other things. The Steakhouse (Primo's) had excellent food for decent prices plus a nice view. The surrounding area has plenty of other restaurants and stores close by. You are about 15 minutes from the strip by freeway, and there seem to be plenty of golf courses nearby. We didn't attend any shows at this casino hotel (the big names and Cirque shows are all on the strip).”

• Great handicapped access for hotel and hotel rooms.
• Front desk staff was not warm, welcoming or helpful.

“This is a local's casino far from the strip. The staff is very old Vegas curt and unfriendly. But for a physically challenged traveler, the room more than met my expectations. I saw a 1st run movie and had a great Italian dinner, lots to do even if you don't gamble. Ask for a room on one of the top floors facing the strip. It's an incredible view day or night!”

“This hotel had something for everyone. There was a movie theater, bowling and arcade for the kids. There are slots, table games and bingo for the adults. The staff is friendly and helpful.”

• Safe, clean, good restaurants, location to my needs and knowledge of the city.
• No massage, spa. The coffee at Seattle coffee was good only 1 day of 3. 2 days were bitter and servers rude or unhappy. Check out these issues.

“Our room was a beauty with a great view of the golf course and the hotel grounds to the north. The hot tub and pool were luxurious and gave us a feeling of ownership. Your staff is great, courteous and knowledgeable. From arrival to departure they do good work. Down side is no safe, no coffee maker.”

• Fantastic hamburgers.
• Not well suited to business traveler, no free Internet, in room coffee maker.

“Very nine amenities, clean, quiet room, it's probably a great place to vacation, not to work from. $10+per 24hrs for Internet use is absurd, not to mention the $1/local phone call. Even Motel 6 has free Internet and local calls.”

“I loved this hotel! They gave us a great travel pack at the front desk then I walked into my room with a fantastic view! It was so clean and fresh! A big bathroom and great bed! I was able to relax, win some money and have a fantastic dinner and breakfast! I will definitely be back again!”

• Service in Cafe Sienna was extremely slow.

“We rented a room for my elderly parents, and they were locked out for 2 hours, after attending a wedding late at night, while someone tried to fix their lock. I think they should have been compensated in some way, but were not at all.”

• The room had a sitting area; nice for visitors who did not have to sit on the bed.
• As usual, we had to walk through the noisy casino to find the elevators.

“The first floor of the hotel is a typical Las Vegas hotel -- lots of gambling, noise, flashing neon lights. Registration used extra security - my husband was not allowed to check in, even with his I.D., without me; that could be awkward unless one knows about it ahead of time! The rooms were very nice, spacious bathroom, but, alas, once again, the towels were small.”

• For a business traveler, Sun coast is a long way from downtown.
