“I was actually surprised at the level of comfort for the hotel. I didn't expect it to have such good lighting, two sinks, and such clean bedding for a two and a half star hotel.” Oct 14, 2008 by
chery
“Hotel was great but the food in the coffee garden was awful and over priced. I expected more from them.” Sep 29, 2008 by

“Overall a good hotel. Buffet staff hotel totally ignored all customers. Some did not speak English. Food and food service was very good.

“Very fast check in, the parking was terrible, the room that we had was very nice, I did not like the restaurant at all. I would stay there again but go somewhere else to eat.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Pat from Citrus Heights, CA
“The front desk night person was not very friendly but the day person was great. The room was nice, it was clean and pet friendly. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The restaurant was just ok the restaurant staff was more in to talking to each other and the regular guest than helping others.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Kevin from Helena, MT
“I would recommend it to others.” Mar 27, 2008 by

“It's great for a short overnight stay. Loose slots, good food and a very clean hotel despite all the construction.” Feb 22, 2008 by
Karen from San Ramon
“Boy what a difference 4 years makes! Under new ownership (poor new owners) this place is a mess. I stayed here 4 years ago and loved it but every year it gets a little worse. Since the demise of their airline hopper and larger scale out of Towners, this place has crashed and burned. It looks feels and smells like a motor court hotel in a low rent district. The rooms were hideous, the air wasn't working, the carpets were so nasty I would even walk on them without my shoes and the casino area really needs some revamping. The rates are not cheap for this class of hotel and I walked away feeling very cheated and sad. They don't even have entertainers anymore in the club room cabaret. I have property in Elko and drive a long way to see it twice a year. There are new hotels in town and they will be my salvation. Thumbs down Red Lion and shame on you for disappointing so many previous loyal customers. You can be old but still bring something to the table.” Aug 22, 2007 by
Stacy from Modesto, CA
“Location sells this hotel. Over the years the cleanliness and overall quality of the establishment has declined greatly.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Ted from O'Fallon, Illinois
“We have tried this place a couple of times and found it to be less than the best it could be. The rooms are not really that clean. The front desk folks act though there is no tomorrow. One night the fire alarm went off about every half hour and they could not fix it. No apologies from them at all. Coffee shop service is slow at best and prices are not in line with typical casino coffee shops. What's really weird is that they are reluctant to open table games until a certain time, even though there are players waiting.” May 21, 2007 by
Mike from Reno, NV
“The hotel was great. Public areas were clean and well-appointed. The room was large, spacious, and comfortable. Parking is close to the rooms. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable. The hotel is convenient (across the street) to fast food, grocery, gasoline, and clothing if need be.” May 12, 2007 by
Jerry from Sheboygan, WI
“Real nice motel and except for my comments above we were very pleased with the location and staff.” Mar 26, 2007 by
Rich from Sycamore, IL
“Being on a long road trip, it was comforting to see the destination signs showing brightly. A good location from me 80, quick check-in and friendly staff.” Feb 16, 2007 by
Stan from Twin Falls, ID
“Rooms were nice, wireless internet available, close to interstate and most services available on premises.” Oct 25, 2006 by
Mark from Deming, NM
“This is a very nice hotel located in an area of town that provides easy access to other casinos. The room and common Ares are kept neat and clean. The common restrooms are very neat and clean. The dinning was very comfortable and priced right for the quality of the food available.” Sep 21, 2006 by
Ron from Harrison, AR
“Good place to stay.” Sep 8, 2006 by
Shelley from Alameda, CA
“Very comfortable and clean with lots of amenities.” Hotel Representatives:
