• The front desk clerk was excellent. She was very friendly and helpful.
• There really wasn't anything that we didn't like.

• My 5 year old grandson lives in Boise & he came over to visit. He & I had a great time in the pool. It is kid friendly.
• I was hoping it would have a desk in the room instead of just a table. Also, there was no place for luggage.

“We enjoyed staying there and will stay there again but I think I will ask if they have a portable luggage rack. The beds are comfortable and the room was far cleaner than many motels we have stayed in.”

• The staff quickly changed our room when we brought a leaky sprinkler head and bad smell to their attention.
• Our room had wet carpet and a funny smell from a sprinkler head.

“Not up to snuff with what I expect from a Marriott outfit. It seemed like and old hotel with a few updates, but it still looked kind of dumpy (for a Marriott). Our room had a strong smell when we entered, and a wet spot on the carpet from a leaky sprinkler head. Luckily, they switched our room right away when we brought it to their attention. However, the hotel manager said they already knew about the problem. Why did the still rent the room?”

• Location was convenient (the only thing I liked).
• Hair dryer didn't work, tub drain blocked, no ice machine, no way to completely close drapes.

“This hotel was vastly overrated as a 3 star hotel. We stayed at lest 6 other hotels on this trip that were much better had been. Several thins in the room didn't work. There was no ice machine working-no lobby coffee (the urn was empty and had been for some time). In general, it was more like a 1 star hotel.”

• The breakfast is excellent and saves us time and money.
• It is a little difficult to find if you had not been there before. It was our 2nd visit.

“This is a great hotel; the first time we used this hotel we had a little trouble finding the street and hotel, it is between a couple of hotels. The 2nd time was a breeze. They might consider more signage. It is convenient to the freeway and the breakfast really adds value to the room!”

• The staff let us check in early and very friendly and the room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good and indoor pool was great.

• Very friendly staff - clean rooms - nice 24 hour coffee bar.
• Too noisy, right next to the freeway and it was too noisy to sleep.

“If you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. The freeway and airport are just a few feet from the hotel. Made it hard to sleep or relax. That is too bad because the staff were great and the hotel was clean and comfortable.”

• Continental breakfast was just ok, coffee cold.

“This hotel was very nice for the price I paid, exceeding my expectations. I got the best nights rest I have in a while. Their hot tub was closed, but we were able to use the next door hotels'. I needed a break from home and the Fairfield made me feel welcome and comfortable. They made fresh cookies, and milk was available upon request. I'm very happy with my stay.”

• Very convenient to airport and downtown Boise.
• So near the interstate that you can hear the traffic all night.

“Nice property with helpful, friendly staff. Proximity to interstate 84, while convenient, is a drawback. You can hear the traffic all night long. The only way to drown it out is to turn the AC fan on high, which makes the room very cold. But, at least the AC works very well!”

• The location was perfect for us. Easy on easy off the Interstate.
• Staff was somewhat limited in their capabilities. They couldn't tell if we were just leaving for the day or checking in.

“We had problems with our door keys working/dead battery in lock. Maintenance man had keys and was gone with only set of keys. Door wasn't fixed until after 10:00 p.m. Made it a short night of sleep to have to drive all the next day.”

• Easy freeway access. Centrally located.
• I could hear the freeway with the windows shut - but it did not keep me awake or annoyed.

“I was able to meet up with other family members in Boise. Our room was great We had everything we needed. It was very conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The kids loved being able to swim which really helped since the weather didn't cooperate. We used the Hotel directory and tried out a restaurant we'd never been to before. I liked that everything we had a question about was at our fingertips. We would love to be able to stay there again in the future. Thanks.”

• Clean, quiet, easy to get to airport...very nice continental breakfast...many choices, good for children.
• Nothing.

“This hotel is close to Boise airport yet not too close. The rooms are nicely decorated and most importantly, clean. It was quiet and efficient in getting us to the airport very early. Wonderful breakfast, set up early for those leaving very early. A lovely hotel.”

• Everything was better than expected, clean, comfortable, friendly service.
• I asked at check-in for a king but got 2 queens, no big deal.

“The Fairfield Inn by Marriott was located on the other side of Hwy 84 from the Boise airport. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tastefully decorated as was the lobby and continental breakfast area. The beds were comfortable, each queen bed had 4 pillows complete with a complementary mint Breakfast which was great There was a waffle station, pastries, breakfast sandwiches to be warmed in the microwave, a selection of cereals, bagels, English muffins, hard-boiled eggs and good coffee. There was free shuttle service to the airport as well as stay & fly parking. This was a great value and I had a pleasant stay.”

• The pool was great. The expanded breakfast was great. The room was large.
• There were no smoking rooms. The only place to get ice was on the 1st floor.

“Everything was overall wonderful. The staff was very friendly and check in went better than I expected. The room was larger than many we've stayed at. I would definitely stay there again. The expanded breakfast was great. Something to look forward to in the mornings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for convenience is local, ammenities and overall cleanliness.”

• The staff was kind and helpful, it was clean and a great buffet breakfast.
• It is so close to the interstate that there was a lot of traffic noise until the middle of the night.

“Great service and friendly. Staff cheerfully honored our requests for a double non-smoking room. They even put us in the quiet rooms away from the freeway. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and hospitality we felt.”

“Pretty decent, not very helpful when a toilet overflowed and they delivered a dirty roll- a -way. They were very helpful in returning a camera left in the room. The breakfast was very good, the lobby was nice, the rooms were o.k.”

• Were interrupted at midnight when they inadvertently tried to rent the room to another party that was trying to get in.

• It was great to have breakfast before having to check out and be on the road again, pool was great

“The facilities were great, the staff very helpful and friendly. Close to freeway access, airport (but not real noisey), and city access. The rooms were clean and the non-smoking were really non-smoking, not like some hotels we've been in, where a air freshener was used to kill the smell.+++++”
