• There was a jacuzzi tub for two in the bathroom.
• The workout room was dirty and the temp was locked at 72 degrees.

“It was just what I expected from a Residence Inn. The breakfast was OK, the eggs could use some help, they were gooey and the sausage was un appetizing.”

• Nice comfortable room with kitchen and pullout bed. Great facilities. Free breakfast.

“Overall, we were very satisfied with the room which was just for an overnight stay for a softball tournament. We wish we could have stayed for a couple of nights more. Very nice facility that is very family friendly. Room was nice, cozy and clean. We would stay again.”

• Desk staff was a loof - tax issue at checkout.

“This property was clean, with current decor. Bed was very comfortable and it had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was very good. Waffles, sausage, eggs & potatoes!”

• Great location.
• Can hear neighbors clearly.

“Great location for this hotel - landscaping beautiful. Room is a studio which I wasn't aware of and usually what I try to stay away from. But if you don't mind a studio, its got a small, nicely decorated kitchenette area, living room area and bedroom. Bath is separate. Only problem is you hear your neighbors quite clearly.”

• Ptting green, kitchen in room, 3 hot tubs, evening cocktail hour.
• There was water leaking all day and night from an outside spigot.

• Nice breakfast.
• This hotel is supposed to be 100% non-smoking, our room reeked in smoke, late check-in, complained to front desk, not very helpful.

“Hotel itself was well laid out and the rooms were large. The breakfast was above average with hot food. The bed was comfortable. The smell of smoke in the room was awful-even though the hotel is supposed to be 100% smoke free. Checked in after midnight, was too late to get another room-besides the hotel was full. Let the front desk know the next morning-they didn't seem very concerned.”

• Comfortable and very efficient.
• Lobby and pool area restrooms were very dirty and not cleaned during my stay.

“This is my second time coming back to this hotel, and again, I couldna''t have been more pleased with my stay. The suites at Residence Inn are wonderful. I get a little claustrophobic in many hotel rooms, so the big open space and different rooms is great to have. I am coming back to Palm Desert in October and have already booked my room here.”

“I had been driving from San Francisco to Phoenix with my dog Prince, a Chihuahua, and we needed a place to crash for the night. I had stopped at several hotels which did not allow dogs, and finally I found this place which did what a relief! We only stayed long enough to get a good night sleep, but the room was clean and it was nice and quiet which were the only things I cared about at that point. Prince was especially happy because the front desk gave him doggy biscuits.”

• The night staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable
• I wish there were king size beds

“This hotel is great. The staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. The complimentary food that is provided for the guests is above and beyond what other hotels offer. The room was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.”

• Miles from stores and restaurants.

“Very nice room with excellent kitchen. Big free breakfast and free food in the evening too. Plenty of parking. It's right on the highway, but that means it's fifty blocks from El Paseo (downtown).
Can't have everything!”

• The suite-type room. Roomy and well designed.
• It was a bit farther away from where I needed to be than I thought.

“Check-in excellent. Room spotless, though smelled too strongly of disinfectant. Breakfast provided was excellent. Room is well laid out and comfortable. Big balcony. Location is just a bit too far from town for my taste. Lots of driving to get anywhere.”

“Actually our room MORE than met my expectation level. We not only had a complete suite, kitchen, etc. but the Marriott had both a very nice complimentary breakfast AND a 'more than appetizer' evening snack and food avilable. Our room looked out and over a private golf course and had a marvelous view of the mountains in the background.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.”

“The Residence Inn in Palm Desert, CA was a lovely place to stay for a weekend. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again. Our only complaint was the lack of sufficient parking. We had to park on the other side of the hotel from our room.”
