“Everything was convenient (stores, shopping). Very nice quiet area, everyone was very friendly and helpful. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and have nothing negative to say whatsoever.” May 28, 2008 by
Cary W. from Liberty Lake, WA
“Overall I was very pleased with this hotel. The room and surrounding grounds were comfortable, although there was significant noise from upstairs footsteps.” May 10, 2008 by

“I came to Shadow mountain, based on a friend's recommendation. My room was fantastic, I love that there was a little bachelor style kitchen, so you could eat breakfast/lunch in your room if you wanted. The room was clean, and the decor was really thoughtfully done. Covered parking, and beautiful huge pool area! I was there mid-week, so it wasn't too crowded, it was just what I needed to rejuvenate! And, you can walk to El Paseo! Honestly, I don't know how it gets any better! Well, for me at least. I will certainly be back, and definately spreading the word! Thank you, Shadow-Mountain!” Dec 20, 2007 by

“It was a little difficult to find, tucked away into he neighborhood and it looked like a condo complex rather than hotel. When we asked to move due to the loud floor upstairs they were very accommodating and moved us no problem. The restaurant folks were very nice and breakfast was very good.” Aug 21, 2007 by
June from Valencia, CA
“I think the survey covers everything. The empty fridge stayed that way. Do not want to go to a super market on vacation. I would have given it the best recommendation if there had been food on the premises.” Jun 28, 2007 by
Tim from Los Angeles, CA
“Run down, every where, not good and the rooms were like 70's Russia.” Apr 21, 2007 by
Vita from San Marcos, CA
“I would probably stay here again but would make sure ahead of time that the shower was spic and span and ask for a room not overlooking the pool. One also has to get used to the humming noises from the fridge in our room and the one next door. Staff very friendly.” Apr 16, 2007 by

“I went with my sister just for a short get away, we both felt it would be a great place to come back with the family.” Jan 10, 2007 by
Sandy from Clarkston, MI
“Hotel was difficult to find during late evening check in. Tucked into residential area. Also, the hotel had instituted a "resort" fee of . Per day effective for reservations booked beginning January 3rd. They added it to our bill on check out. Took some strong conversation to get them to reverse the charge.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 5, 2006 by

“Each unit at Shadow Mountain is individually owned so I can only speak for unit 102. The unit was recently updated and had all new tile and fixtures (looked like a showroom). The bedroom furnishings and decor was first class also. The negative part of the room was the shower drain. Why somebody would spend thousands of dollars upgrading a bathroom, and not clear the drain is just silly. Upon checkout I informed the woman and the front desk of the drain issue, but she didn't seem to care. If the shower drain was better and/or the staff was more responsive I would have given the hotel an A+, but for now my final rating is a B.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 1, 2006 by

“They need to show entrance better. Need more grassy areas. But all in all the hotel/condo was quiet friendly and clean. The location was good .” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 13, 2005 by

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Shadow Mountain. Although I was in Palm Desert for a conference, I visited the tennis pro shop to see whether they could fit me in for a lesson. Not only were they able to set me up with a lesson at the time I wanted, the staff also set me up with a doubles match the next day. My doubles partners were all residents and were extremely welcoming. The match was competitive but friendly. The tennis staff is top notch. Hotel Representatives:
