• The fact that there were things like mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, ironing and swimming pool.

• It had a heated indoor pool.
• Housekeeping skipped our room.

“The hotel smelled a bit like smoke, even thought it was a non-smoking hotel. The breakfast was good, but supplies ran out and were not replenished in a timely manner, so choices became limited. The housekeeping staff did not service our room. The hotel seemed to be understaffed. It was ok, but I would not stay there again.”

• The rooms had been recently remodeled.
• The spa was out of order.

“From the reviews I had read about this hotel, I was concerned about the quality and the service, but we were very happy with the room and the service. The rooms had recently been remodeled; everything in the room was great! We just happened to get there on the day their maintenance man quit, so the spa was not in working condition.”

• Indoor pool.
• Dirty tables for breakfast had to ask to have them cleaned.

“The hotel was located right off the freeway. Inside was clean and staff was friendly. A young girl was working the front desk on Wednesday evening, and she was very sweet and nice and helpful with directions.”

• The bed was comfortable.
• No elevator and the staff were not courteous.

“There was no elevator and the keys were not programmed right, so we got locked out of the room several times. The toilet overflowed and the guy was really rude. He plunged the toilet and left a pool of water on the floor. He said he would give us a mop to mop it up ourselves. My husband told him to give us another room as soon as possible and he reluctantly did. Needless to say this hotel is not on the top of my list.”

• The hallways were kind of dirty, and the sauna didn't work.

• The rooms were large and well furnished. The pool was warm and well- maintained. Some of the staff was helpful.
• The halls, stairs, and breakfast room were filthy! The desk clerk was too busy watching TV to restock the breakfast items so there was little to eat.

“We were impressed with the rooms; they were clean, large, and nicely furnished and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The next morning we went down for the breakfast and there were mainly empty containers and no food other than the waffle mix, juices, coffee, tea, and bran and corn flakes but no milk. We told the desk clerk (there is no room attendant) but she was too busy watching TV. The breakfast room was filthy although I blame the guests who don't clean up after themselves when they know there isn't an attendant to wipe off tables. Also, why do parents send little children down to eat alone or get food to carry up to their rooms and leave a trail of spills for everyone else to deal with?.”

• It was clean and quiet.
• No elevator.

“This hotel was very clean and quiet. We were on the second floor and there was no elevator. Not good for the senior traveler. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• It was very clean. The room was warm and welcoming.
• Most of the staff was friendly, but there was one lady who was snippy and rude.

“Overall, we were very happy with our stay here. On the first night of our stay, the staff was very helpful, even giving us excellent instructions to get to our destination the next day. The room was clean and very nice for the money. Breakfast was a little skimpy, but what was there was good. The pool facilities were nice and our kids had a good time there. There was one lady on the staff who was just not nice at all, but again, overall it was a good experience. We would definitely do it again.”

• Convenient and affordable.
• The turn in was not clearly marked, so it was easier to drive past. Also, my room was not ready when I came at 5pm.

• The staff was helpful.
• This hotel was not a 2 Star hotel and I paid a 2 star price. I am not happy about that.

“We had 3 adults, 2 children under age 9 and an infant. We rented two rooms and could not get adjoining rooms. We tried three rooms before we found one that had not been smoked in recently, even though they were "non-smoking" rooms. This hotel should not be considered a two-star hotel. The quality and upkeep is not good. I was very disappointed. We used the indoor pool, but it was too hot inside and uncomfortable.”

• Great price, large quiet room, adequate breakfast, indoor corridors, warm pool
• It needs a copier, fax, and Internet access for guest use, we needed these, we did combo leisure and some business.

“This is a perfect hotel right near Freeway exit in Meridian, easy access to Boise or Nampa. Larger than average rooms, modern, includes breakfast, we liked the fresh waffles. The pools were wonderful and warm, not like many hotels who advertise "pool" but don't make them warm. Our family enjoyed it.”

• We had clean sheets and towels the second day.
• The stairway and halls needed vacuumed, Brunch breakfast was always gone be for it should have been

“There was a barrel left in the hall at night that the maids put sheets in. It could have been a safety problem. The halls and stairway needed vacuumed. Out room was clean but I didn't like the coffee pot in the bathroom. Needed more plug ins.”
