• At a good location.
• The hotel charge us extra resort fee. $10 a day. We were not informed in advance.

“In general, the room is comfortable. However, the lobby is under reconstruction now. So the route from the lobby to the room and the packing lot is really bad.”

• Pool.
• No electricity for an hour, woken by construction at 9:00 am, cockroach.

“Nice enough, but no electricity in room for an hour on our return to the hotel at 2:00 am to 3.15 am, woken by hammering construction in next door room at 9:00 am, dead cockroach outside room door, vending machine broken.”

• The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
• The room decor was old and the bed was hard.

“The public spaces were beautiful. The rooms were old and dark. The decor was terrible. The bed was hard, the pillows needed to be replaced. And the sheets were not good quality. The walls were thin and you could hear everything in the next room.”

“The hotel was pretty, the pool area was perfect. The rooms weren't comfortable enough, there was no mini fridge. Overall it was okay. The staff was awesome.”

“Overall, very pleasant stay. Concierge and staff helpful and friendly. Asked for two beds and got them. It was well worth the money. A light that was burned out above the vanity was replaced very quickly after bringing it to housekeeping's attention.”

• Great location, nice pool area.
• Blankets are dirty, I got rashes on my skin.

“In general, this hotel is decent. I don't have too much to complain. The only complaint I have is about the bed. The blankets were smelly and dirty. I got rashes all over my legs. I would not stay at this hotel again. I have stayed at plenty of other hotels before and never had this problem.”

• Great staff. Clean room.
• Needs updating. Even if they just did new bedspreads. Had 1 king bed. Really needed 2 beds. Pull out was very uncomfortable for my son.

“Somewhat busy due to convention, but was still fairly quiet. Needed extra towels/blankets which were delivered within 30 minutes. Room is in need of a facelift but was clean. This hotel met and in some cases passed my expectations. Very friendly staff. We would stay there again.”

• Great location and wonderful pool area.
• One male staff person in the pool bar was rude and unhelpful. However, this was N/A isolated person because the other staff members we great.

“This is one of the best locations in Palm Springs. The pool was outstanding. However, the hotel seems like it needed a facelift. The rugs in the hall ways were coming up and walls were in need of paint. There was a large rain storm that created a flood, due to a busted water pipe, in the lobby. The staff worked hard to accommodate the guest the best they could in these conditions.”

• The ribs were tough at the dinner.

“We enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and friendly, even early in the morning when we had to leave before 5 am. Perfect location, since I was catching a flight early in the morning.”

• The lobby looks very well, just sorry it ended there.
• Not enough pool staff and not attentive. Pool was a pool of sweat. Need more elevators. Carpet in hallways were taped together.

“I would not stay at this hotel again. We have had many pleasurable stays in Palm Springs, this was the worst for price. The resort needs to keep up its lobby appearance and have it flow into the areas of the hotel in order to gain respect. Pool area was run down, area misters were on only in one unoccupied area of the pool area. Speakers around the pool area were poorly located with exposed wiring.”

• Great location, away from Indian Canyon drive, movie theatre across the street and casino in the next hotel.
• The smell of the hotel, elevator has no AC and so are the hallways. AC does not work well in the rooms.

“If you're simply shopping in Corazon, planning to hike in Joshua Tree National Park, then this is a great location. Close to restaurants, shopping and the national park. Other than that, 4th of July weekends tend to be overcrowded and noisy. The AC doesn't work well in the rooms, hallways and carpeting faintly stale, sweat and musky. The spa resort casino is next to the Wyndham, so you can walk over and have great buffet meals, movie theatre is also within walking distance (Regal Cinema). The location is simply terrific. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beware of limited parking spots, but you can always park on the adjacent space shared with the Hilton and the spa resort casino.”

• The public areas of the hotel are modern and current. The location of hotel to airport was perfect.
• The rooms and hallways leading to rooms are tired and need updating. Not consistent with public areas.

“The entrance and public areas of the hotel are beautiful and look like they were recently renovated. This is misleading however, as the rooms and hallways leading to the rooms are very tired and in need of renovation. The air conditioner in the room was really loud, waking me every time it kicked on. The hotel's location to the Palm Springs airport was a critical part of my stay, but the hotel is in dire need of renovation to be consistent with the entrance, bar area and pool.”

• Noise factor. We were able to hear the car doors open close, hear the neighbors next door. & all their plumbing. Also: resort & parking fees.

• Nice lobby/pool and proximity to shopping/dining.
• Old decor in rooms, very uncomfortable beds. Needs updating.

“While the grounds and the lobby were fantastic, one wouldn't be able to tell that they were in a 3 star hotel. The room was drab, the bed cheap, and we got charged $10 extra per night for parking. We checked in way past the check in time, 9:30 p.m. and we didn't have shampoo or towels in the room.”

• I liked the sofa in the room, it was somewhere else to sit that it was not the bed.
• I did not like the room service prices.

“It was very upscale. I was very pleasantly surprised by the look and cleanliness of the hotel. It over met my expectations. The only one down side was limited convenient self parking but it was something that I could overlook given the quality of the hotel for the price that I booked it.”

• Pool area got messy with trash at end of day. Hot tub water did not appear clean.

“Hotel was fairly nice, but lot of kids around made it more messy and noisy than I like as a single traveler. I did not like addition of resort fee upon checkout. Staff should have told me when I checked in.”

“This hotel is tired. It has duct tape on some of the carpet joins in the hallways. It is not an upscale hotel in my estimation. The facilities need updating. There was noise at 3 a.m. in the morning and security failed to come and fix the problem.”

• Furniture is very old and out-dated. Rooms really need to be updated to keep this property competitive.

“This is a great hotel, but the rooms, furniture, flooring, lamps, etc are terribly out-of-date and old. Frayed fabric on the sofa and chair. Filthy windows. Dust in the corner. Very old fake-brass lamps by the bed. Old TVs. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Palm Springs and the rooms, lobby, etc, everything was gorgeous. Pristine. The Wyndham needs to catch up.”

• Paying for parking, interior, and location of elevators in proximity to rooms.

“Nice exterior, pool area, room and valet. Concierge unfriendly, had to pay an unexpected $10 to park car in hotel parking lot, and elevators located too far away from rooms. I've never had to walk that far from the elevator to get to my room. Interior needs updating and overall not the best, Ive stayed at super 8's and had better experiences.”

• Staff unhelpful, lousy room/bed.

“Awful hotel, esp. for Palm Springs. Inadequate parking. Staff was unhelpful - did not want to give us directions, maids refused to give us an extra washcloth. Bed was uncomfortable with broken springs. Bathroom had dirty (blackened) air vents and no tissues. 100% disappointment. Plus, there is a mandatory additional $10 fee upon check in for parking and other.”

• Problems with AC and key card access. Constantly locked out.

“Definitely not 3.5 stars. Closer to 2.5. Great pool. Mediocre restaurant. Lots of problems with my room personally. Had to have maintenance come up on 6 occasions.”

“This hotel seems like the place for the crazy young folks to party. Also a good place to take the kiddies. think twice if you don't fit those demographics, unless perhaps you're at a conference there. Room was nice and clean, but furnished with 2 double beds. Who has double beds anymore?”

• I loved the common areas, the pool side was great.
• I disliked my room, small - layout was weird. Thin walls and noisy neighbors hotel security needs to watch the younger guests closely.

• The public facilities were well maintained.
• The room did not match the star rating. The walls, floors, and tub was stained. The carpet in the hallways had duct tape holding it together.

“More like a 1 or a 2 star. The landscape, lobby, and pool area are nice. Unfortunately, the hallways and the room were not as well taken care of as the public spaces. I would not stay here again.”

• Beautiful spacious grounds and elegant lobby.
• In the corners of the rooms and common areas there was chipping paint and some older, not-as-clean fixtures.

• Hotel Lobby.
• The rooms were extremely uncomfortable and unattractive.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was dark and dingy. The staff was unhelpful and did not want to be bothered. The pull out bed was so uncomfortable that I could not sleep on it. There was literally a bar in my back. It was questionable when the last time the sheets and pillowcases were cleaned. A very poor experience.”

• I enjoyed the quick walk to casino and strip.
• The bed was comfy but a little bouncy; walls need paint in room.

“We came down to get away from it all. Much to my surprise, I got everything I wanted-A corner room with a balcony-without even asking! The pool is gorgeous, try to get a room facing it. It was an easy walk to the strip. We came on a Thursday and there was a festival downtown. The casino was a block away, too. The staff was super friendly. We wished we could stay longer!”

• The location was great and the rooms were clean.
• The decor was basic and outdated.

“The hotel is nice, but the rooms are outdated. They are comfortable, just nothing special. The parking arrangements are not the best as you pay a separate charge for parking, and if you are out late, there may not be any parking left and you have to park in an overflow lot next to the property.”

• Easy checking in and out (no line for front counter).
• Terrible view from the room, view was of dirty and trashy roof. No complimentary coffee in the morning.

“All in all it was nice, but the hallways were to long from the elevators, there was a lot of walking involved. The last things you want to do is carry your luggage all the way across the resort after a long day of traveling.”

• The outside and pool area looked very nice.
• Comforter had stains on it and we requested a new room.

“The hotel looked very nice, however, when going into the rooms it did not feel the same. The first room they gave us had stains on the comforter and the second room they gave us took such a long walk to get there and coming back to the elevator was confusing because there were no signs indicating where to go. Got a little turned around. The hotel itself looked nice but the rooms could have been better.”
