• I did not like that the room was shabby, the carpet was dirty and the pillows smelled, and their was a big cockroach inside the room.

• The spa was green. The spa had over 15 people in it the day we got there. 11 were max. We asked them to clean it. Go back to question 12.

• 20 words could never do justice to the outstanding people who work at this hotel!
• Hard to find anything negative, each room should have a microwave.

“It is almost impossible to be brief when describing the efforts made by managers and staff to ensure their guests have a wonderful time. We have stayed at hotels world-wide, five star resorts, and none could begin to compete with PD Travel Lodge; its staff are the most helpful, kind, thoughtful, caring, energetic, hard-working, outstanding group of individuals we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. They take an average hotel and turn it into a 7 star haven of sheer enjoyment.”

“We only spent one night at this hotel. The rooms were fairly clean and the location was good easy to find the interstate from this location. The breakfast was great!”

“For the money, I was very satisfied. I'm sure I'll stay here again. Despite the fact the sheets don't stay on the bed and the walls are thin, the bed was very comfortable and the clientele and surroundings were quiet and peaceful.”

• It was cheap.
• There wasn't a shower curtain and the other guests were constantly going in and out and yelling at each other.

“This hotel was cheap, but the staff was not helpful and the missing shower curtain was a problem. Also, the noise of all the other guests made it difficult to get any sleep.”

• Bathroom to small, no outlet in mirror area outside bathroom.

“It was a nice hotel for what I needed. If needed I may stay at that travel lodge again. It was not walking distance to the Strip, but the drive was minutes. Not bad.”

• The location in the middle of town was great.
• It is very dated and the rooms are very small.

“Travel lodge was just a place to rest our heads after a long day out at softball games. The hotel is very dated and could use new carpet, paint, beds, furniture and remodel of building in general. The mattresses were on top of plywood. The staff was sincere and the location was great. Would not stay here in the future unless remodeled.”

“The hotel was o.k. I would have enjoyed it more if it weren't for the inconsiderate group of people in the adjoining rooms. We were awakened at 10:45 pm by screaming kids and loud laughing and conversations by three separate families who were apparently traveling together. At 11:00 pm, I called the front desk asking them to send someone over to quiet them down. After about 10 minutes, they all left, only to return at 12:30 am, and disrupt the complex again, as they entered their rooms. We were traveling with two other couples, who were also disturbed by these individuals. I know I would have rated this hotel higher if it hadn't been for these rude, inconsiderate patrons.”

• The carpet of the hotel was dirty and stained. Maintenance worker came and cleaned the carpet. Their service, after request, was satisfied.

“The travel lodge staff was very nice. We enjoyed that they had two pools. The hotel is a bit old but we felt the price was so reasonable that we would stay there again. Easy to get to downtown and the Indian canyons.”

• The hotel was not much to look at but the room was clean and served it purpose.
• My room was quite a distance from the pool, so I didn't use it.

“The Travelodge was clean and well kept. The room was spacious even with the provided refrigerator and floor fan. I was able to park my car in close proximity to my room. I am always concerned with the level of noise I will have to deal with and I was pleasantly surprised there was absolutely no noise and I slept quite soundly. The continental breakfast was ok but a toaster and bread, cereal and milk, fresh fruit would be nice, too. I will stay there again”

• Didn't have iron & board in room, which is a major oversight I think.

“If you're looking for an inexpensive hotel with a bed, shower, TV and air conditioning, then this is a decent place. No iron & board in room? Who doesn't do that? If the place is booked solid (and it is Palm Springs, so it could be- it was on my stay), then they don't have enough iron/ boards to give out to all guests. Also, don't plan on this if you're staying a long time and want to hang up a lot of suits/ clothes, as there is not a lot of hanger space. There is no "closet" per se, but they did have a bar to hand things on, with hangers, etc. It's small. If you're in town for the weekend, traveling late, it's a good. Just make sure you ask as soon as possible about the iron if you need one.”

“Oldish looking exterior but interiors are better than you might expect. First room had terrible central a/c, but the staff relocated me without acrimony to a room w/ wall-mounted a/c which worked just fine. If it's hot and it often is, insist on the latter. Staff are friendly and competent.”

• Parking, there should be assigned parking , more handicap parking in front of the room u are assigned too, no dogs.

• The staff was nice and the hotel was in okay shape. Just wasn't upscale or modern.
• I was charged a small fee in addition to the rate by the hotel and I am not sure why.

“The hotel personnel were nice and friendly. The hotel looked very old though and did not have modern upgrades. We did not have internet access. We liked that they offered breakfast, but we felt like we were staying in the 60's or 70's given the overall feel of the hotel.”

• Rooms smelled awful due to age of hotel. Very musty, moldy odor.

“We were not happy with this lodging at all. We had to switch rooms 2 times before we were put in a room that we could tolerate. (just tolerate, not enjoy) The smell in the first two rooms we were put in was so offensive, we felt as if we could not breath. We could not control the heat and air conditioning for our individual room and the hotel had the central heating and cooling turned off. The third room we were assigned to at least had it's own heating and cooling unit, and the smell was somewhat less offensive. Let's just say, we spent as little time in our room as we possibly could. Also, unless on the ground level, you could not park convenient to your room or access your room without walking quite a distance to even get to the stairway taking you up to the second level.”

“This hotel is not a good Travelodge hotel, compared with others. The hotel seemed like it was not prepared for the number of guests it hosted. An example: On the morning of President's Day, there was almost nothing left at breakfast when there was still 1/4 of breakfast-serving-time left. I will not stay at the same hotel again.”

• Ease of check-in, prompt fulfillment of special housekeeping requests.
• Room very dingy (though not overly dirty); no candy vending machines - staff was curt in telling me this.

“Hotel is great for a cheap stay--not on the S. Palm Canyon strip but at a convenient location at the south end of E. Palm Canyon, where it meets E. Palm Canyon. Though not impolite, the staff treats guests in a cursory, businesslike manner, no warmth, cheerfulness or evidence that they are happy to have you there. Just use the place for sleep in between your tourism around Palm Springs. Do not expect to be coming "home" at the end of the day. The staff have already made it clear that you are a room number and little else.”

• The walls are too thin. Hotel guests were quite noisy the first night.
