• The pool was a good temperature. Room was very private.
• Room service was inadequate. Rooms need updating.

“We checked into hotel and toilet wasn't working. They had us move immediately - we had to move our own stuff. New room had a broken phone and outlet for computer didn't work, didn't ask for it to be fixed - we could deal with it. Went to the pool - beautiful, but no towels, so brought our towels from the room.”

“with the exception of the rooms, which were very good the hotel is far below 3.5 rating. Little service, older workout equipment, dirty outside halls, ill planned access to rooms, a parking fee!, which is not appropriate for a sprawling facility, outside of downtown locationI would not recommend this hotel even to golfers”

• The staff was friendly.
• 8 dollars to park the car on they're grounds. Plumbing in unit didn't work properly.

“This is a nice place. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. At 10:45 pm we found out that the tub didn't drain. Called the front desk, staff was there within 10 minutes. He tried to unplug the drain. Left, came back about 20 minutes later with so type of chemical to try to unplug the drain. He said they were out of Drano and would have to get some more in the morning. He said this will have to do for now (we never saw him again). It didn't work. The toilet also wasn't working right. It ran all night. On the up side I told the gentleman at the front desk in the morning. He was very sorry. He credited the $8 for the parking and also gave us vouchers to eat in the sports lounge. This is a nice place in a good area. Other than the plumbing problem all was good. I'd stay there again just another unit.”

• Nice and clean and easy to get in and out.

“This is a nice hotel. I thought it was kind of weird staying at a golf resort, but it was really nice, and the pool and the hot tub were nice - kid friendly and clean and secure. I had heard the air conditioners were loud, but ours was very nice and quiet and kept the room nice and cool while we slept. Also, the beds were very comfortable. Nice clean bathroom and shower.”

• Had a resort feel to it rather than just a hotel.

“The resort is convenient, just off the freeway, but absolutely no freeway noise anywhere. Nice layout of rooms. Golf course is not maintained as a resort course-at least during the summer.”

• The staff was very friendly and courteous.
• Dirty room (sheets and spider in bed) and horrible food.

“My room service order was wrong and the food was dry and flavorless. Upon turning down the bed I discovered hair all in the sheets. The hotel staff came and assisted me in switching rooms. My new room had a spider in the bed. The property is spread out so you may have to do quite a bit of walking to your room. This was incredibly inconvenient for me as I had 2 pieces of luggage and I was in heels.”

• Beautiful lush green view of the golf course and pool and also a wedding was in progress which we could view from our balcony, we enjoyed watching.
• The pizza was the only thing that did not taste good, everything was good.

• The hotel grounds was very nice and the cleaning staff was great.
• Couldn't eat because they had no food for the hole stay and bed was loud! Couldn't even get room service.

One good thing about the stay is that the cleaning staff was great every time you came across someone they said hi and have a good day, great job for them as for the hotel I will never stay at this hotel again.”

• Very clean and spacious room with wonderful mattress and bed accessories.
• No thermostat for the air conditioner, break fast is ok, charge for parking is ridiculous, no microwave/refrigerator in room.

“Teenage neighbors yelled, slammed doors and punched walls all night & early morning - I did not sleep a wink. Security was very passive and did not stop the noise. The nice room meant nothing, without a good night's sleep. I was exhausted driving back to LA the next day.”

“The hotel looked a little shabby. Chairs in rooms looked old. Bathrooms looked renovated with granite counters, but there was a huge exposed pipe from the bathroom wall to the pedestal sink - why not cover that with a counter? Lots of walking to your room. It is set up like a condo complex with lots of buildings of say 4-6 units. For the upstairs units you had to carry your luggage down a pathway and up the stairs.”

• We had to wait 45 minutes for them to fix our room problem.

“When checking in we were told that there was a problem with their rooms and we would be getting a parlor room with a pull out couch to sleep on we agreed to take a look. The room was so cramped and sleeping a really uncomfortable couch was not our ideal situation. We decided to go back, we ended up in a room with free dinner, breakfast and bottle of wine.”

• The grounds were beautiful.
• The walls were thin, we could hear our neighbors showering.

“We were pleased with the hotel. We did have ants in our room the first night and the front desk staff was very good about moving us to a different room. They provided breakfast at no charge to us for 2 days because of it, but we did have to ask. We would stay here again!”

• The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were very accommodating. Particularly Sarah.
• The parking was a challenge.

“I was traveling with my sister and friend, along with my two and three year old children. The grounds were very nice and well-maintained. The hotel room was spacious with two queen sized beds plus a sitting area. This gave ample room for me to make a comfortable sleeping area for my children on the floor. The bathroom had two sinks and two mirrored areas for getting ready. This was particularly nice traveling with three females. We began our stay in an upstairs room, which was not ideal with two young and active children. The hotel staff (Sarah) was extremely helpful and accommodating when arranging a change of rooms so as to not disturb any guests below us. We were given an equivalent room very graciously. Our stay was awesome.”

“I asked and get a regular room but had to sleep on a terrible couch sofa. They ran out of rooms and that was all that was left. It was my worst hotel experience ever. If I could have left and went to another hotel, I would have, but it was past 11 P.M, and I had no idea where I was and had to get up early. The experience was miserable.”

• At check-in, they gave everyone a chocolate chip cookie that was delicious.
• The $50 charge for parking without any notice.

“We all came from Vegas so we drove, of course. We checked in registered 2 vehicles and received 2 parking passes, so our vehicles would not be towed away. With no prior notice, we were charged $50 extra for parking on one of the vehicles. We were told for 2 rooms you are allowed parking for only 1 vehicle. That's so bad for them.”

• I liked the fact that you could workout eat and play some sports without leaving the grounds.
• The hotel staff was very professional but not that personal.

“This hotel was a great place to take a nice rest or romantic place to get away or even a good place for a small business group. Having one of the nicer workout rooms I have seen lately for this star of a hotel and two swimming pools, multiple tennis courts, and a nice golf course. I would definitely recommend this hotel for most travelers.”

• It was a resort, not just a regular hotel. The atmosphere was very inviting and romantic, yet it appeals to children as well.

“Our stay was nice with the exception of room service and a maid who didn't clean the room correctly. The room service over charged on some meals as also duplicated our orders on others. The delivery man said that there was some recent people fired and a fast turn-over. There was also an incident of a room not finished being cleaned. We always leave tips for maids, so this was frustrating.”

• $8 per day parking, noisy in room heater, bathroom.

“Charged $8 nightly parking. The second night I couldn't get anywhere near my room due to an event in the ballroom. Room service dishes sat outside my door the entire time (3 nights). In room wall heater/AC unit was noisy waking us up each time it came on. Bathroom was good size but had no counter space. Little or no insulation in ceiling, heard every step they took upstairs.”

• The warm cookies at arrival, and they had a kids back pack with goodies for our son. He loved it.
• I was surprised to find that it's cleanliness wasn't up to par.

“Overall we enjoyed this hotel. I do have to complain about the cleanliness of the bathroom however. I might be alone on this, but I do not think that someone else's hair should be present in my room. There were several hairs found in the bathroom and that's just gross. I asked that they send someone up to clean it, and they did promptly and soon after them an inspector. But still the hairs remained. We were only there for one more night so we just swept them under a towel and left it there. To their credit though, the room in general was nice, we loved the cookies at check in and we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome back pack of goodies for our son.”

• It happened that we arrived earlier than the check in time and still they gave the room without hesitation.
• The bed is too soft, it gives back ache when you wake up.

“Staff are very helpful, they give attention to the customer's needs or requests. I just don't understand why they charge parking for guests, $8/night? Bed is too soft, although beddings/sheets are great and smells really fresh.”

• The trek to the room was uphill, no elevator.

“The resort is beautiful, but not for road warriors that put in long hours at work and have to drag their heavy computer and briefcase up and down the stairs. At night, it could be dangerous for single ladies traveling by themselves.”

• The friendly staff and quick check in/out. Grounds were nice and loved the bed.
• I hated that I could hear the people in the room directly above us walking/stomping until 12 midnight.

“I like everything at this hotel especially the friendly and helpful staff. The pool areas needed to be cleaner. Also, if I stayed here again, I would request an upstairs room because we stayed beneath really noisy conditions from the room above us. It kept me up until midnight.”

• They only had a King room available and did not have rollaway bed available.

“This is a great location and we have stayed there a few times before. Always enjoy it and find it very good. However, this time the hotel was fully booked and there was only a King room available and they promised a rollaway bed - but then there were non available. So my daughter ended up sleeping across two chairs. I wish there was a better way to be certain or at least specify at the time you are requesting a room what your preference is.”

• I didnt like the overall layout. Our room was a hike and there wasnt a bell boy.

“Overall, we liked this hotel. We wish the swimming pool would have been heated as the kids were disappointed since it was too cold. I also expected a better work out facility; but it was ok. It was a comfortable hotel though, especially the beds.”
