“Rooms are big, but needs to be spotless with better water pressure to be a 4 star. Bathroom layout is odd. Need towel racks, towels under the sink don't work. Toilet paper too far away for kids to reach. If you are a lite sleeper than the airport nearby would be noisy. Bird poop on balcony as birds fly by all day. But good size room if with kids and for the Priceline price, great!” Oct 17, 2009 by
Jean from Running Springs,CA
“Very nice and comfortable hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good but a bit pricey. There was no little cafe to just order a bagel or something, which would have been a plus. All in all, the hotel was very nice, pretty views of the harbor and very comfy. I would have liked to have been closer to the gas lamp though.” Oct 14, 2009 by
Kevin from San Pedro,CA
“This hotel should be a 2.5 star hotel. The other tower may be nicer and worth a 4 star rating, but when you are moved to the Bay Tower, the quality level goes down significantly.” Oct 13, 2009 by
Olesya from Houston,TX
“Very convenient to tourist attractions, restaurants and convention center. The service was very good. Highly recommend for business travelers. Nice running trail along the harbor. Wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway.” Oct 11, 2009 by
Marc from Palo Alto,CA
“Nice hotel, but the elevators were VERY slow due to some construction. Staff was friendly.” Sep 17, 2009 by
Sobhy from Fontana,CA
“Very nice and clean.” Sep 16, 2009 by
Kenny from Gilbert,AZ
“Toilet paper was coarse, bathroom fixtures need maintenance and staff was very friendly.” Sep 3, 2009 by
Mary from Brea,CA
“The location was great in some ways: excellent view of Marina and Sunset, unless you're on 1st floor where there's no view, and we could ride bikes to seaport village (little over 2 miles, very nice ride). There are 2 buildings for this hotel--the main building is nicer, updated and doesn't smell as badly. The older building, further down the road smells certain times of the day as if there is a sewage line nearby. The staff changed our room for the second night, but we were in a room with double bed on first floor. Other than the smell (could have been from something in the Marina), we enjoyed our stay.” Sep 2, 2009 by
Pam Alvord from Bozeman,MT
“This Sheraton was the tower right on the Bay side of the Harbor. We had a view of the harbor that was breathtaking night or day.” Aug 19, 2009 by
Clifford from Temecula,CA
“While the room was pleasant the hotel over all felt old and dirty. The public spaces were small and always very crowded. I stayed on the seventh floor and the elevators were few and very slow.” Jul 22, 2009 by
Jeremy from Nashville,TN “The hotel was 40% full for when we were there...They tell you they are "sold out" in the marina tower and promptly send anyone on priceline to the BAY TOWER - Which has ZERO amenities. Just a pool and a hot tub. The parking is ridiculous. Its a huge paved lot, that is NOT secure - and yet you have to pay $22/day. The room was nicely decorated however the carpet was stained and in some areas sticky. Totally not a 4 star property.” Jul 7, 2009 by
Arsanious from Cerritos,CA
“Very clean, rooms are big with nice view. Location is nearby downtown and other nice areas.” Jul 7, 2009 by
Jo from El Centro,CA
“We had an experience of the staff not getting our car when we called up for it early in the morning. They also were instant that we were to leave when we took the car to get breakfast and were coming back to the hotel to eat.” Jul 5, 2009 by
Johanna from Indio,CA
“Really liked it. Jun 15, 2009 by
Erica from Saskatoon,Canada
“Gorgeously decorated hotel, wonderful location on the marina.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Jay from Fountain Hills,AZ
“Great location. Try to book top floor as noise from rooms above can keep you awake all night. Elevators are quite dirty. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.” Jun 6, 2009 by
Gudrun from Sierra Vista,AZ
“Very nice hotel, great view from balcony.” Jun 4, 2009 by
Linda from Oxnard,CA
“We were offered a harbor view room with a king size bed. We got neither. Priceline never said that this was unavailable. We asked for a late check out, they told us it was impossible. I then requested to speak with the manager. I was told that a late check out was possible for a fee. In all the very many hotels I have stayed at never have I denied a late check out or was asked to pay a fee.” May 29, 2009 by
Dawn from West Bend,WI
“Our stay was at the Bay Tower and not the Marina Tower (newer tower). The accommodations were nice, but not 4 star quality, (missing knob on sink drain, rooms nice but not upscale, limited food at bay tower). All the staff we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. On our last night there was an issue with our bathtub backing up and when it could not be immediately resolved. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel, but the location was too far away from downtown area.” May 20, 2009 by
Jessica from Peoria,AZ
“This was a nice hotel with a great view of the harbor.” May 13, 2009 by
Dan from New York,NY
“Right next to airport, but far from city attractions. Hotel was clean and views were nice, but lack of staff at front desk make check in process a bit slow.” Apr 20, 2009 by
Sujoy from Sunnyvale,CA
“Parking costs too high; parking for guests should be free or subsidized. Room did not have a refrigerator or microwave. But excellent view of marina, and room was clean. Parking is extra and expensive.” Apr 20, 2009 by
Veronica from Los Angeles,CA

“There are 2 buildings to this hotel and they are at least 2 blocks apart. The building our room was in is the building used by airline personnel, near airport, has room service if you like to eat in bed. The restaurant and other services were in the other building. Both buildings were isolated and about 4-5 miles from downtown requiring a $10 cab ride any time you wanted to go anywhere.” Apr 18, 2009 by
Kevin from Tucson,AZ
“Great view of the bay if you're above the 4th floor and can see over the trees. Desk staff helpful but housekeeping leaves something to be desired, one day they left a dirty yellow towel (not even from our room) in the room and when we left a note that asked for more than two creamers for coffee and something besides decaf, they didn't.” Apr 9, 2009 by
Patty from Davenport,IA
“Staff was not overly friendly surprisingly for a Sheraton. We were in the bay tower and away from the main hotel so it was not as nice as the main hotel. The gift shop was closed every time we tried to use it day or night. The parking charge was too high. The one positive was the room - beautiful, clean, and spacious. Maid was very friendly.” Apr 8, 2009 by
Denise from Lakewood,CA
“The hotel was decent. We stayed in the west wing which was not the main hotel. We did not spend much time in the hotel.” Mar 29, 2009 by
Elisabeth from Richards Landing,Canada
“We needed a one night post cruise stay, with shuttle to airport and long walking distance from port. Both met. Would not like hotel for any longer since it is to far away from everything. The pool is shallow and falling apart, but otherwise beautiful. To get pool towel had to answer questions about my accent, very American and very annoying.” Mar 20, 2009 by
Deborah from Redding,CA
“Located approx 3 miles from downtown and very near the airport. High rise with stunning views of the bay. (watch the cruise ships sail) Immaculate housekeeping, great beds and well lite bathrooms. Starbucks and large business center off lobby. Very good restaurants in hotel. Food sticker shock comparable to Seattle. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. A winner.” Mar 13, 2009 by
Betty from Monticello,MN
“The Sheraton Hotel and Marina is beautifully decorated in a nautical theme and is surrounded by the bay and marina full of sailboats. The service was great. The few things I was less impressed with was the room was quite small or maybe just seemed that way because the furniture was large. The TV was smaller. Everything was expensive and cost extra from parking, breakfast and Mar 11, 2009 by

“The hotel is situated right next to the airport but you couldn't hear the noise from the outside once your confined in your room with closed doors. This was really helpful to our dog. He was calm and didn't bark once. The beds and pillows were very comfortable to sleep in. It was the best sleep I've had in a long time.” Feb 20, 2009 by
Jennifer from Bellevue,NE
“Lovely, large lobby with sitting areas, multiple computer terminals with free access, beautiful view of the bay. That's where it ends. The rooms are fine. What brings them down is the worn out furniture and the lack of cleanliness. The main tower is a vast improvement from the secondary tower which is much smaller without the same level of amenities and even dirtier rooms. The bright spot was the concierge who was pleasant, helpful and friendly.” Feb 19, 2009 by
Mike from Jacksonville,FL
“Well situated for access from airport and relatively short cab ride to down town. The only main detractor was the $22/day fee to park in their open area parking lot, which was annoying as there was plenty of space. Additionally, in room internet access was $12/24hr- very annoying. They did have several open access computers in the lobby, but not functional to do alot of work. Annoying that you have to spend another $35/night to park and use your computer.” Feb 19, 2009 by
Angela from Arcadia,CA
“Sheraton has two towers, the bay tower we were in, has nothing in the lobby except for a few chairs. The location is bad, in the middle of no where, facing the SD airport. It's definitely not a 4 star hotel.” Feb 18, 2009 by
Greg from Lake Forest,CA
“After staying there and eating there, I was rather impressed at the high quality of the hotel, high quality of the restaurants, and high quality service.” Feb 15, 2009 by
KJ from Carlsbad,CA
“ Room was nice, but nowhere near 4-star, and the lobby/facility is the same. The view was nice, of the Bay, but the staff placed us initially in a room with a less attractive harbor view. In a nearly vacant hotel, the not-so-busy front desk staff should ask for a room view request. ” Feb 14, 2009 by
Nancy from Santa Barbara,CA
“We were in an adjunct building, a distance from the main hotel. We did have a pool, but no other services no restaurant, coffee shop, gift shop etc. A few items accidentally left in the room were not returned.” Feb 5, 2009 by
Aileen from Palmdale,CA
“I think this hotel was very nice and completely met my expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive and the room had all the amenities I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.” Feb 3, 2009 by
Robert from Morris,IL
“Overall our experience was very good. We did not rent a car as our stay was short. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the airport. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Be prepared to pay $22.00 a day to park your car in the hotel lot. This was not an issue for our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Pets are allowed and although the couple across the hall had two puppies, they were not a bother.” Jan 5, 2009 by
Salavdor from Santa Fe Springs,CA
“Over all the room was nice with pleanty of room. The building(bay tower)looked somewhat run down and we tried to checkout using the Jan 1, 2009 by

“Reconstrution ongoing ans hinders stay. Noises throughout the day and night.” Dec 30, 2008 by
Craig from Gilbert,AZ
“Great hotel and location if you can get a room on an upper floor. Marina tower has all the facilities, so aim for that instead of the Bay tower although the Bay tower is quieter. Parking fee is very steep at $22/day or $28/day valet. Rental cars are nearby so decide if its cheaper to use cabs or rent a car daily. Requires a drive to get to any of the sites.” Dec 18, 2008 by
Bob from Tucson,AZ
“The hotel was very empty at the time.” Dec 2, 2008 by
Lou Ann from Lompoc,CA
“We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very nice. They have refurbished a lot of the tower we stayed in. They gave us the options to stay in the other tower if we thought that the renovations were going to disturb us. We were on the 9th floor with a view of the Marina. It was very nice. The only draw back was that you have to pay for parking at $22/day for self parking and $28/day for valet.” Nov 14, 2008 by
Dan from Chicago,IL
“The bed was great! The hotel was very nice with two exceptions. We stayed in the marinia buliding were you can only eat in a bar. The building has twelve floors with four elevators, one of which was broken.” Sep 30, 2008 by
RICHARD
“The hotel location was excellent and the views and pricing were great. Otherwise we had several disappointments.

“The bay tower has rooms with fantastic views of the harbor from large balconies. The rooms are also beautifully designed.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Rosie from South Gate, CA
“Nice hotel. My family and I had a great time there.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Dana from Huntington Beach, CA
“The hotel lobby was impressive and the view we had was great. The beds were not comfortable for us and the caulking around the tub was black with mildew. However, the overall experience was great for my husband and son and I. We especially liked the pool area.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Salvador from Glendale, CA
“The staff was very helpful and friendly.”
