“Great for a concert weekend with a loved one.” Aug 12, 2006 by
Deana from Plantation, FL
“The hotel is very beautiful and the room sizes are very comfortable. The pool is very large and the grounds are very pretty and relaxing. The gym is very tiny and hot. But everything else is perfect.” Aug 9, 2006 by

“Short and to the point. wonderful!” Jul 22, 2006 by
J C. from Glendora, CA
“Humphrey's has an excellent location for vacationing or as a hotel for meetings. We found Humphrey's is considered a distention hotel in the San Diego area. Our room was roomier, clean and airy room, and accessible. The staff was superb, with their helpful friendly manor. We found the adjacent restaurant to be an excellent venue, in both food and service. As a bonus Humphrey's has a wonderful concert venue, The Beach Boys were playing the night of our stay.” Jul 22, 2006 by
Pam from Anaheim, CA
“Very pleasant, efficient and accommodating staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Room service was prompt although menu a bit limited. Pool area is especially nice including a bar and food service. However, needed more chaise lounges and or seating. I will definitely stay here next time I am in the area.” Jul 20, 2006 by

“I'll recommend to friends. Overall is B+.” Jun 30, 2006 by

“Great hotel! Spacious and nicely renovated.” Jun 29, 2006 by
Holly from Seattle, WA
“We enjoyed the location of the hotel. I always feel somewhat shortchanged when I check in and am told I will need to pay for parking. If I am going to stay there I should be able to park for the price of the room. Our room overlooked the summer stage for musical events. We would probably stay here again, but would request a different room.” Jun 29, 2006 by
Carl from Long Beach, CA
“Really nice hotel with great staff! Been renovated and grounds are beautiful! Food was good, a little expensive. Having a refrigerator is a big plus! Spacious rooms are nice! Price did not include $8.00 parking fee, but that is not bad.” Jun 24, 2006 by
Gerry from San Francisco, CA
“Hotel was out of the way but is great for people who are looking for a secluded place to put their head for the night.” Jun 15, 2006 by
Refused from Alpine, CA
“Nice location, nice hotel, they forgot to call me for my wake-up request, phone didn't work and the louver type windows at the front window area afforded no insulation from the noise outside. People walking by during the night could easily be heard. Even though I was on the second floor.” Dec 29, 2005 by
Melissa from Simi Valley, CA
“Nicely located by the harbor, has a pretty garden in the center of the hotel grounds. Easy on the eyes. Much more personality than the sterile Marriott or Ramada hotels. We found the staff to be quite friendly, too. We would come back and would recommended it to all.” Dec 20, 2005 by

“A nice resort hotel with a fine restaurant on site. Free internet and close in parking. Convenient to downtown and the Mission Valley. Clean and quiet.” Nov 6, 2005 by
Bob from Cupertino, CA
“The exterior of the motel was very nice and it had nice facilities including a fancy restaurant and reasonable, though small, fitness center. There was also a concert area. The rooms were typical, low-budget motel rooms, the shower temperature couldn't be controlled and ranged from hot to cold. Also, there was very loud noise from the jets taking off from the nearby Naval Air Base, though that ended every evening at 11:30.” Nov 5, 2005 by
Hope from Moreno Valley, CA
“Hotel stay very pleasant by the water front near boating activities. Loved the style of rooms. More like bungalows. Very cozy. Romantic dinner setting at Humphrey's Restaurant on site. Staff is wonderful & professional. Amanda took care of all our on site needs.” Oct 7, 2005 by
Jenni from Monarch Beach, CA
“This hotel was amazing. It made you feel like you stepped into Hawaii. Their service was excellent and very authentic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a get away but not too far away from it all.” May 16, 2005 by

“We have been lucky to have been here twice and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The suites are tropical and make you feel like you are in Hawaii. The grounds are green and lush and tropical birds are loose by the pool. There is fresh fruit in the lobby. A wonderful, relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
