• The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
• Rooms are in process of being renovated, the carpet was filthy!

“Staff was phenomenal. When the renovations are done it will be a great place to stay. For now the carpet was so bad we wouldn't walk on it
without shoes! Pool was closed for renovations but it looked nice. The breakfast they have is great lots to choose from!”

• Close to freeway and beach. Nice pool and breakfast.
• Construction around hotel.

“Somewhat quiet considering proximity to freeway. A gas station was being constructed next to the hotel which created noise and obstacles. The pool and Jacuzzi were right outside our room which was nice at night but closed in the morning. Continental breakfast was the best. Staff was very accommodating.”

“The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was not too good, the location was ok if you had a car,
I travelled alone and by cab the hotel location did not give me much option to roam as there was not much within safe walking distance. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, have a car and like breakfast out then this hotel is fine at least the staff was great.”

• The continental breakfast was very good.
• The bathroom was located between busy roads.

• The ready helpfulness of all of the staff.
• Some of the stair hand rails were very loose.

“Tucked into a small commercial plot of land at the foot of a hill, the hotel is well located for access to the Oceanside area. Even on the outer edge of the hotel, freeway noise is not noticed. The hotel has been updated and provides all modern amenities for the business and leisure travelers.”

• It was convenient to the beach.
• While it was meant to be non-smoking, someone had been smoking in our room.

• Very convenient location!
• Problem with the hotel staff.

“Very convenient and close to everything. Freeway was not a problem on the west side of the property. Guests next door were a bit noisy. There seemed to be many guests just hanging around drinking and smoking, which was not the best atmosphere for the kids. Problem with hotel staff error, but in the end they worked it out.”

• Bathroom remodel done by a amateur.

• Staff; great on all accounts!
• Continental break fast was marginal: orange drink versus juice and no yogurt.

“Good price, good value, great staff. I will stay there again (it's close to grandmas house)!”

• Staff met my needs for internet connectivity and good place for pets
• Low water shower head.

“This hotel met all my needs for basic lodging while moving. With 2 dogs and 1 cat and a need to be "on-line" for my job, and in the midst of moving chaos, I got good night's sleep (great air conditioner) with convenience of an in-room coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. I didn't use the pool, spa, sauna, or laundry, but they are nice features to have. The price was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks!”

• The location was convenient and the room was comfortable.
• The lobby was very conveniently located.

“This pretty standard best western; basic, but comfortable. The driving area in front of the lobby is Narrow and as the breakfast area is across from the lobby, the area is somewhat dangerous in that small children may run across the street to the lobby from the breakfast area.”
