• Great location. The bed was great!

“Even though we had to pay for parking, for the price we paid for the room it was well worth it. There was no coffee in the room but they had Starbucks available in the restaurant which made me happy.”

• The comfort & attractiveness of the room, especially the bathroom.
• There was a convention of Christian who could not stop playing on the elevators.

“Beautiful room and especially lovely bathroom. Luxuriant bedding on the little bit too hard bed. Restaurant Olio had 5 Star gourmet Italian cuisine at good prices. Despite being near the elevators, it was very quiet.”

• The bathroom and suite were clean and the bedding was fluffed and comfy.
• The charge for parking (only $8 a night).

“The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and ready to take care of any need. The rooms were more spacious and comfortable than I expected.”

• The welcome was a nice and sincere one, treated us first class.

“The welcome was a sincere. I like paying the more economic price; however, I would feel okay having to pay full price. The rooms and beds were wonderful. The food was excellent. This was right in the old part of town that is being refurbished and an attractive place to just stroll after dinner - light shopping and/or desert. All in all we had a wonderful time. I felt very safe in the area - even out at night.”

• The chef at the hotel was amazing. My kids have food allergies and he special prepared food for them.
• The pool was a little dirty and the heater was broken.

“The hotel was beyond my expectations as far as Priceline. Being a first time user, I was a little apprehensive, but it was a great hotel. The only negative was the pool because the heater was broken and it was full of leaves, but my kids enjoyed it anyway. The chef went above and beyond for my food allergy kids. It was further from Loma Linda than I wanted, but once I figured out how to get there, I was fine.”

• The exercise facility was very sufficient.
• Electrical outlets were sparse. Mirror on closet was inadequate, bathroom was fair.

“The beds were comfortable. The entire hotel was very clean. The only mirror in the room was poorly located and the bathroom was not really large enough for two people to share comfortably the mirror.”

• The fitness center was very nice. It actually had free weights and was very spacious.
• I did not like how there was a fee for using the business center.

“Very nice hotel. Definitely was a 3.5 star Level hotel based on the quality of the rooms, the professionalism of the staff, the restaurant on the lobby level as well as the separate bar area.”

• The room was very clean, the bed and linens were wonderful, the staff was excellent (friendly, helpful, polite, neatly attired, etc) food was great!

• The location was very convenient and most of the staff was helpful.
• Rooms were very basic, food was mediocre, the pool closed early and the internet was very expensive.

“The hotel was decent, but the quality of amenities was sub par. They charge for parking, the pool closes early, the internet is very expensive and the restaurant is somewhat mediocre. While the staff was generally nice, they were somewhat aloof and oblivious to customers needs. Overall, somewhat disappointing.”

• The cleaning staff was wonderful. The check-in guy was sweet.
• The hotel was keen on kicking us out.

“We were not aware that the 1pm checkout time was so strictly enforced. Within 45 mins we had 3 visits from the staff telling us to go. Between the 2nd and 3rd was about a 5 min gap. Worst visit to a Marriott I have ever had. Riverside Marriott was
far below
Marriott standards.”

• Close proximity to Mission Inn/Downtown.
• $8 fee for garage parking.

“This is a very successful remodel from what I believe was a Holiday Inn with a great downtown Riverside location. The room was above average with the bed being the highlight. Pedestrian-friendly downtown is right out the door, with multiple eating/shopping options. This is also the closest hotel to the convention center. I recommend a short walk to see the Mission Inn and dine in their outstanding courtyard restaurant. Be forewarned that they will charge you $8 for garage access/secure parking, but you can find other options, especially on weekends.”

“I would recommend staying there for anyone going to Riverside,Cal or surrounding area. Historic Mission Inn was a block away. Area was safe and clean. Hotel staff was accommodating for extended check out time. Nice workout equipment.”

“Highly recommended for a business traveler. There are enough restaurants and shopping options available in the immediate area to avoid aimless driving for a person unfamiliar with the area. The hotel is updated and modern, with the exception of the television set.

• Awakening by an idling bus at 3:30 on Sunday morning is not exactly what I expected.

“Hotel is fairly convenient to downtown. Decor was reasonably up to date. Room was pretty clean. However some of the staff was not exactly friendly. After waking up at 3:30 in the morning on Sunday to the sound of an idling tour bus in the courtyard right below was not exactly what I had in mind of a peaceful sleep. Had to call the front desk twice. Even then, it still took an hour before the driver shut down the engine.”

“Located not too far from freeways, shopping or amusement. Rooms were spacious and included good amenities. Good hotel for families. Food was excellent and there was good variety for health conscious travelers. Staff was friendly and courteous.”

“I wouldn't even consider another hotel in the area. In fact, would travel from a city an hour away just to stay at this hotel. Everything about it, from check-in, staff, agreeableness of all hotel personnel, attitudes, cleanliness, amenities, etc. was perfect, a far cry from many hotels.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• The location is a bit out of the way, and you kind of have to go through the hood to get there.

“Our business was in San Bernardino, about twenty minutes away. There's not much in San Bernardino so we stayed here. The hotel is a bit out of the way. Even from the 215 but worth the little jaunt. You have to go through a somewhat run down industrial section to get there, but it is next to the convention center, and worth the trek. The beds are comfortable and the room was spacious. For a quick overnight business trip it was perfect.”

• The concierge was very helpful with information about the local area.
• Maid service was rude and woke us up an early hour.

“The room was large and pretty well cleaned. They went through the room while we were not there. It is not a very good choice to stay if you want to sleep in after 7 am as the maid will get maintenance to open the door if you do not answer soon enough.”

“The hotel and rooms are clean. The hotel is walking distance to places to eat and shop. They have a bar and restaurant inside. They have a fitness room and pool on the second level. Its one of the better hotels in Riverside. I am a frequent visitor due to business reasons. I do not enjoy paying the $8.00 a day parking fee.”

“We were pleased with all the hotel's facilities, cheap parking and free wireless internet in the lobby. Very leanly staffed but did not cause a problem. Love the Marriott's incredibly comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Stayed here to be near Ontario Mills outlet shopping and the San Bernadino mtns for a day trip.”

• The location is great. There are many restaurants nearby.
• The parking garage was a bit of a hassle. But due to the urban location, it sufficed.

• Original room smelled musty. We complained and were moved to a cleaner room.
