• Beautiful hotel and friendly staff; clean; great beds.
• Drinks are fairly expensive at the hotel lounge.

“Everything was clean and comfortable; we really enjoyed the stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable pillow-tops and the sheets are good quality and soft. The room is spacious enough for plenty of luggage.”

• The room with a view and king size bed.
• The carpeting in the hallways were dirty and stained. Not a good welcoming.

“The hotel staff was pleasant, the room was nice and was given a king size bed when asked. The hotel hallway carpeting was spotted and dirty which wasn't very welcoming, besides that it was a nice stay.”

• This hotel is right on the river. A short walk through the park and you are downtown to restaurants, shopping and bars. Totally convenient.
• Terrible business center, inconvenient and expensive.

• Perfect location for a child going to Gonzaga University and Downtown Spokane.
• The room hallways were a bit dated and worn.

“This hotel received some really bad reviews and I was a bit worried. But I was pleasantly surprised, my room was great-clean, newly updated, very comfortable. The hotel is older as can be seen in the elevators, hallways but who cares? Staff was VERY friendly and helped me with directions, restaurants, etc. The workout room was beautiful with new equipment and it had free Internet.”

• Great pool, excellent room location near park and with view!
• It was a little difficult to find.

“This was an excellent hotel. The grounds were well kept, the interior was clean, the rooms had all we needed - internet, fridge, iron, etc. The pool was the best! Loved the bar, too. The coffee shop and workout facility were so nice in the morning.”

• Almost brand new, very clean and beyond the friendly staff.
• All though the hotel was new the indoor pool felt a bit old and dingy.

“Great place to stay at regular rates, awesome for Priceline rates. Make you feel special 'you are in our tower suite and did change us to a king upon request. Close to down town, great views, and just new and nice. Flat screen and fridge in suite- not sure if that is standard.”

“The room was cramped, they stuck us in a back corner overlooking a flat roof and barren wall.
I understand we got a great deal, but relegating us to a back corner where there was a poor view of the world is a little over the top.”

• No problems or concerns.

“Got a lukewarm check in, for some reason Red Lions always offer a queen bed, have to ask for king or two beds. Always get my request but have to ask every time. Other Priceline hotels no. Other than that all OK. Room was neat and clean, bed excellent. Old TV, but adequate. (Red Lion is upgrading to flat screens throughout the property). Did the early bird special in the bar, can't be beat! Good food and unbelievable prices! Free parking alway a plus. Complimentary paper in the am.”

• Location, ambiance, nice surroundings and nice staff and best of all free parking.
• The fire alarm being pulled by the teenagers who were out of control and pushy.

“Overall we were very pleased. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was professional and friendly. The overall feel was of being well kept and accommodating. We were very pleased to have easy, free parking access.”

• It was close to downtown for walking.
• Our room was tiny and not satisfactorily cleaned.

“It was great to walk downtown. The bed was comfortable. However, there was garbage left on the floor in the washroom, no extra pillows, the tea bags packages left in the basket were stained, and our sheets had a rip in them. Also, I like to see a TV schedule and there wasn't one, not on paper or on the TV.”

“The room was very small and the bathroom barely able to turn around in. Additionally there was garbage still on the floor from the previous guest and it didn't appear to have been vacuumed at all. Had my husband not been ill we would have refused the room.”

“When we arrived at the room it was late. Did not really look around. In putting items in the refrigerator there was a syringe and insulin. Also old decayed food. It was taken to the front desk, not much was said. In the night I started itching, when I looked at the sheets there was what appeared to be ground aspirin and dark hairs (I am blond). I slept in the other bed with co-worker. In the morning in looking around, there was pills on floor, old child's football, deflated balloon, bottle tops, wrappers, in general debris. The mirror in the hall was covered in small child prints. The bathroom was the only room that appeared to be clean. I usually never complain, but I went to the front desk, spoke to Teresa in housekeeping and was offered breakfast. Since I had a business Breakfast meeting and not much sleep I declined. No I will not stay again.”

• Nice location near Riverfront Park and downtown Spokane, parking is no problem, and lobby and room was attractive.
• No restaurants within immediate vicinity, especially since room service ends at 10 pm.

“A rather attractive hotel with nice amenities near the Spokane River with indoor pool and well decorated lobby within reasonable walking distance of Riverfront Park and downtown Spokane. It is also only fifteen minutes from the airport, and priced comparably to the airport hotels, so I enjoy staying at this hotel with its proximity to the park, downtown, and the Flour Mill rather than at an airport hotel with minimal attractions nearby.”

• The location was out of this world. Close the Riverfront park, downtown, and a short drive to Northtown mall.
• The coffee was not replenished and the shower curtain was filthy.

“We enjoyed our stay here and in the future we will consider the Red Lion again.”

• Excellent location. Comfortable environment. Free parking.
• Room was a little dated and old.

“The location of the hotel is great for doing business in the immediate Spokane area. Love the pool and location to downtown--short walk through the park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had to change rooms from the first one. They were very quick to help me find another room which met my expectations. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• Very convenient to Downtown, and our daughter loves the pool.
• Having a very small room with only one bed (there were three of us)!

• I thought the rooms was nice. It was nice to have 2 pools and the fitness room was really nice.
• The outdoor pool was kind of dirty from people going up the stairs to the slide, but it was still enjoyable.
