• The bed was very comfortable. Slept very well.
• Did not like having to pay for internet!

“I thought this hotel was great. Rooms clean and spacious, bed very comfortable, staff very helpful. One down side is extra charges for parking and internet.”

• It was clean, check in staff was friendly, there was a quiet environment.
• Disliked the room, the heater was extremely loud, and there was tile inside the room.

“I have stayed at this hotel before, the rooms in the main building are perfect, however the rooms that were added, I believe it's a two story building, are completely different from the main building, it almost seems like you are in a motel.”

• The staff was incredibly friendly.
• The rooms had a
  lot of outside noise in them and the hotel lobby area was under rennovation.

“I'm sure when they're not rennovating this hotel, it is probably a lot nicer. The staff was extremely kind and pleasant at check-in. The room was most uncomfortable, since the outside noises, voices, etc. easily transferred into the room all night long. Also, the plumbing carried the sound of anyone in our long hallway who used any water, so there was a hollow water running sound at various times of the entire night. Disappointing stay for a Hilton.”

“Fail to clean our room until 9 PM, no place in lobby to use free wirless internet, free internet didn't work, staff suggest that I sit outside at 5 AM to use it. Charged me for room internet that I did not use. Charged me for parking that I did not use.”

• Cheerful breakfast staff.
• Valet uses all parking adjacent to reception. Go elsewhere!

“Residents' lounge and lobby area was being renovated and private meeting was being held in the only other public area in foyer. Bedroom facilities were was not properly cleaned, hairs on bathroom floor tiles & in bath.”

“Very close, five minutes, to Ontario airport. Comfortable room, nice facilities. Good selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Good for a quiet stay and restful night. The staff on the property is very helpful and attentive I was impressed.”

• The location was great.
• Long term construction and parking fees.

“The hotel was nice, but I had stayed at the hotel a few months back and there was a little bit of construction going on. I was greeted with a plywood walkway and not hotel bar to visit. A new self parking fee was in effect that I felt was going a bit far for the condition of this hotel.”

• The staff was very friendly even though we arrived after 10:00 pm.
• Renovations were going on and the signage was not clear.

“The rooms were spacious; the bathroom was small but very nice. The king-size bed was very comfortable after a day of traveling. The staff was very friendly and helpful at the end of a long day.

• Nothing, it was dirty and they didn't clean the room properly.
• Everything, it was horrible for it to be a Hilton.

“The room smelled like smoke and was suppose to be non smoking. They charged for everything and had a few extra fees not explained before going to the room. The staff was nice but room service took forever and the rooms were disgusting. The glasses in the room hadn't been cleaned and the bedding had hair in it. The towels looked as if someone had used them and they weren't washed just folded and put on the towel rack. I was very disappointed.”

“The Hilton is a great place to stay if your a business traveler, they really do a great job in taking care of them. The new pay for parking has a lot of glitches to be ironed out. For one, you pay but because of events those people park in the spot you are paying for and therefore it is hard to find a spot next to your room. This is a very good place to stay for a short time layover, or business week.”

“To small and narrow for two people. The check-in staff was not at her position. Security had to locate her. She arrived to assist us after waiting for over 15 minutes. I was not pleased with the service from the hotel.”

• Very upscale hotel with quality services.
• Charges for parking.

“The internet charge was $10.75/day which is outside of the norm for 90% of hotels and even a higher percentage of Hilton hotels. The added $11.75/day charge for parking was outrageous, especially considering the location of the hotel. It's located in the heart of the Inland Empire area and none of the surrounding hotels charge for parking.”

• I liked the pool and workout facility.
• No air conditioning.

“When I got there I was informed that the hotel lost their air conditioning a few days before and that's why it was hot when I walked into the front lobby. They gave me a small fan to use in the room since it was over 100 degrees that day. It did not help. I believe that since it was hot and uncomfortable in the room/hotel that is why I did not like my stay. I was miserable!”

“While the door light indicator showed that we were safe in our room the reality was that the door was never locked! Hotel Manager was made aware of the issue move to another room and compensated us for three days. At the end of Comp day 2 we were locked out of our room! Went to front desk took care of the issue. Engineering never came to repair the broken AC in the room.”

“The hotel was very clean and even smelled clean. I liked that no smoking was allowed in the building. The only think I didn't like was the pool had no privacy. You can't swim or relax without everyone looking out their rooms at you.”

• Bathroom so tiny you had to wedge by the sink to close the door.

“Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations; check-in problem. I don't think they should be charging $11.75/day for parking anyway - that's outrageous. Its nickel and dimming a guest to charge for parking and for internet in the room.”

“House keeping was not very good. Other than that, every thing was OK. Didn't feel like I was staying at a Hilton. It felt more like a Holiday Inn level.”

• Room had obvious need for repairs on doors, walls, and some furniture.

“The room was clean, but there were major dings on the door, walls, and scratched (vandalized) furniture in obvious need for repair. The swimming pool and spa were dirty (i.e. dirt and tree leaves, and other debris floating around). It gave the impression of a deteriorating Hotel.”

“The Ontario Hilton is a very nice hotel, definitely 3 stars, if not a little more. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room service was delicious, and the room was comfortable. I have stayed there on a previous trip, and will stay there again in the future. Highly recommended.”

“My wife requires a refrigerator for her meds, whether it be in the room or in the hotel. I called the hotel for this. Over the phone I was told she would have her requirements at no charge. When she got there she was told there was no refrigerator in the room and there would be a $10.00 charge for this and she had to pay it.”

• Location was good, could have been closer to other restaurants or coffee shops. At least a bookstore.
• Had to travel by car to go somewhere quick. No food stores to walk to.

“Very nice place, very close to airport. Not close to shopping. Nice facilities. There was always some sales meeting going on, which was a good thing. I had no problem with that as a leisure traveler. It was a happening place.”

“Room was nice once you got there, weird smell in hallways. Restaurant food was overpriced for the quality. Buffet food was not appealing, lox was dried out, other foods, juices not replenished or freshened up plates were empty with one or two things left on them, did not look appetizing.”

• Nice concierge lounge, very nice front desk staff!
• Air conditioning system was bad, not enough insulation from noise.

“A nice property centrally located between Palm Springs, Lake Arrowhead, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Great near by shopping and restaurants. Wonderful front desk staff. On the negatives: Inadequate air conditioning. We had to move to another room and the AC was not good there either. Great view of mountains from one side, however, traffic noise on that side of hotel is bad and disruptive.”

“Lives up the Hilton name in every way. Great coffee in rooms, the breakfast buffet in the Hilton restaurant was great, the fruit was fresh and high quality. Loved our stay there.”

• Parking was difficult, handicapped spaces taken by non handicapped guests, very sad.

• When I called to complain about the people partying in the room next door at two in the morning they took care of it right away.
• The bottom of the bathtub was black. The side of the bath tub was dirty.

“I would never stay at the Hilton again. It is over rated. I could hear people talking at the bar on the first floor late into the night. I was on the third floor.”

• I really enjoyed the comfort of the room (beds/pillows). It was very easy to check in.
• Differences in rooms (size, irons, extra pillows & blankets, towels).

“I traveled to this hotel with 12 of my family members for a very special occasion that was happening in the area. We found the hotel to be very comfortable, a great location and accommodating. It was a beautiful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay even as short as it was. We were very happy.”

“The only recommendation that I have is that the daily supply of coffee, shampoo, etc. should be refilled on a daily basis. Every day there were items not fully replenished. Especially the coffee.”

• The staff was as friendly as they possibly could be under the certain circumstances and could only offer us food and drink for the broken whirl pool.
• We were not satisfied but appreciated the concern to help.
