• It was a beautiful atmosphere in lobby.
• The air conditioner, parking, and the sink.

“The AC in the room was more like a fan so I had the windows open so the room did not feel muggy while the air was on. Also, the sink was not in the restroom, it was in the hallway. Very impressionable! The worst was that you have to pay for parking and that even $11.25. We were not impressed!”

• Great staff. Rooms were great and clean.
• It is close to airport so you do hear Jet noise. Get room on other side of hotel.

“This hotel was great. Staff was very helpful. Room service was quick to respond. Nice rooms with plenty of space. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. For the star rating in my opinion this is a great bargain.”

• The bed was very beautiful and comfortable.
• It didn't have complementary breakfast.

“The hotel was clean and the room was lovely and felt inviting. The staff was fantastic, when I arrived I heard a baby crying in the next room and she promptly and gladly changed my room to another floor. Overall it was great and I would return for sure.”

• The hotel has a on site laundry facility.
• Rooms keys had to be re-keyed several times and trains run directly behind hotel, all hours.

“This hotel was mediocre for a 3 star. Amenities on property were okay but pricey. Parking is additional. Not good if you need sleep and are placed in the back area of hotel because train tracks are directly adjacent and run continuously during the day and night. Helpful front desk staff, but housekeeping needs a refresher course.”

• I enjoy the cookies at night.
• A few feet away from frequently used railroad tracks.

“This hotel would be 10x better for anyone if it was not next to a railroad tracks that is frequently trafficked by the railroads (UP). Throughout the day, evening, night, and morning guest constantly hear the blare of the horn for the railroad. Sleep is very limited for light sleepers like myself.”

• There are not enough elevators! I wonder about the fire hazard with so few exits.

“There was a real problem with the exit procedures in this hotel. Our room was at one end and the elevators were clear down the hall. There weren't stairs that could be used from the parking lot to access rooms either. I question the exit procedure in case of emergency.”

• Very quiet, good location, comfortable beds, and great pool.
• Parking is almost $12/night.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the rooms were comfortable and they even provided Bath and Body Works products, which was nice. The pool was fantastic, a great place to relax, have fun, or get some exercise. The rooms were quiet even though we were right by a train tracks and the airport. I wasn't too happy about paying for parking, but we got a good enough deal that it was okay.”

• Filthy inoperable jacuzzi, expensive non-inclusive OK breakfast, and $10 daily parking fee though we never used the airport.

“Nice modern rooms, decent location, friendly staff yet we were least satisfied with this hotel of all the nine different hotels on our cross-country road trip. Parking fees, expensive mediocre continental breakfast, and expensive Internet charges, plus dirty non-working jacuzzi is what we remember most.”

• Overall good customer service and easy checkin/checkout.
• Employees were loudly speaking Spanish in the hallway.

“Despite the fact that this hotel is directly across from the airport and train station, I found my stay to be peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and I had a nice view. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well, but my tray sat outside in the hallway for more than 1/2 day before it was picked up. There is an additional daily parking fee of $11.75 that I was unaware of, so that bumped up the price of my stay by $23.50. A male employee started to speak loudly in Spanish to his co-worker when I walked by, which was offputting. But the staff people I dealt with at the front desk and on the phone were very professional and accommodating. I'm looking forward to staying here again.”

Not enough activities during the evening(aerobics,etc) or shuttle service to the theater or other attractions in the area(Victoria gardens, Ontario mills, Edward theater, amc theater. Wine selection was terrible for California.”

• Not much I don't like except for wanting more cookies!

• The staff was incredibly friendly.

“This is not a top quality marriott hotel. The staff was very friendly, but the hotel is old, and not in great shape. Considering the area, the hotel needs a major face lift. It was not what I expected, and not worthy of a 3 1/2 star rating.”

“I thought that the hotel was very well furnished. However, the walls were very thin, I could hear everything from surround rooms. The maids were up knocking on doors ar 7 a.m. and talking very loud in the hallways. Not a good idea for a Sunday morning.”

• Conveniently located, comfy bedding.
• Bathroom completely inadequate. Room outdated & small.

“Given that we just needed a last-minute room for a night, close to an event we were attending, the Ontario Marriott met our needs just fine. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the hotel was conveniently located. I have no complaints about the hotel or our stay there. For others considering the Ontario Marriott, I will note that this hotel was very substandard for a Marriott. It's outdated and even though it's a non-smoking facility, it probably hasn't been renovated since the non-smoking policy went into effect, because it had that old Smokey smell lingering in the hallways (not noticeable in the room, though). The room was very small and the bathroom was odd. There was a tub/shower combo and toilet in a small bathroom, but the single sink was in the room itself, near the door. Not much room for a couple to get dressed at the same time, and the lighting was insufficient to do makeup. Wireless & Ethernet internet access was reliable and easy to use, but there is a daily fee.”

• Very expensive room service. Outrageous.

“The hotel is located in a very accessible location. However the hotel is very dated and the room service is extremely over priced. Also the hotel is located on a train track and the noise is frequent but you can adjust to it easily. However the pool and Jacuzzi is very nice.

• The customer service at the hotel was great, easy check-in/check-out process.
• The trains - we heard them all night and couldn't sleep- wasn't necessarily the hotels fault.

“I like the hotel location; the bed and bed sheet were nice. But the bathroom and the shower do not feel warm and comfortable. They didn't provide any conditioner for hair wash.”

• I liked the convenient location to the freeway and nearby restaurants. I liked how it was quiet and the gym and pool facilities were great!
• I did not like that they didn't comeback and cleaned my room.

“Overall the hotel was great. My group all had a good time. It was easy access for one elderly person with us. Because there was no convention on that weekend we went it was quiet and relaxing just how I hoped it would be.”

• Direct access to the pool out of our hotel room sliding door.
• They charge $11 per night for parking.

“The Ontario Airport Marriot was a secure, well lit hotel with accommodations suitable for the business travel or a family of five on an out of town family get together. The hotel's work out room was better equipped than most health clubs with many workout machines, handball court and flat screen TVs. The pool deck provided for casual dining day or night - with a spectacular oasis feel once the sun went down and the pool lighting came on. The security of the hotel was second to none. Except for the parking fee of $11 per night and the hollow floor (ground floor) which gave a thumping sound when you walked - it was a very favorable experience and one that I hope to repeat again in the Spring.”

• Paying for parking- what was the point when all the surrounding hotels do not.

• Nicely surprised with size of room; it was a comfortable fit for 2 adults and a child.
• No complimentary breakfast; and it's ridiculous that there's a charge to park on the hotel grounds.

“Ontario-Marriot has a beautiful exterior; and location across from the Convention is not a problem. On this day, the staff was not friendly; not rude, however. Learning of a parking charge was a bit disturbing (although it was waived for us this time). The room was very comfortable, clean, with a good layout, except the location of the bathroom sink and vanity leaves you exposed to the sleeping area. While the onsite restaurants seem nice, a complimentary breakfast would have been the special touch we needed to end our stay there. Overall, great hotel and room for the price.”

• $11.75 a day parking and $9.95 a day for the internet.

“While the Marriot is good for the business traveler and others who might need a room to stay, the flip side is that they make enough of the price of the room, not to include other fees such as parking, internet and laundry. The in room food service is a bit high, and that and the fact that you can eat out cheaper than their in house service. Overall this hotel was a very nice place to stay and be treated like royalty.”

• Proximity to the airport.
• Hotel is situated approx 50 to 75 yards from train tracks. This was the reason for the 1 rating.

“All in all this was a pleasant hotel until the trains started passing by, probably between 8 and 12 during the night. Our room was situated on the back side of the hotel, very near the tracks, and it was a very unpleasant sleeping (or lack thereof) experience. We would not want to stay in this hotel again.”
