• There was a lot of smoking odor coming into lobby area.

“This hotel had more than one building. We had to go outside the hotel to get to the building with our room and had to go back outside to go to breakfast as well.”

• The rooms were really comfortable and spacious.
• Did not like that we had to pay for parking. The hotel said it was something that just started.

“The hotel needs to add on line that they charge for parking. It's $9.95 per day. I could see if it was $9.95 for the time you stayed but not worth being charged everyday. If this was the case we would have never stayed there and picked another hotel in the area.”

• Common areas were fantastic, staff friendly.
• Wireless internet was slow and expensive.

“I'd recommend this hotel to any traveler that needed a better quality hotel to stay at. Just that the internet was too slow for doing any business over, so I would not ever stay at this hotel while doing business as the internet speeds would not support any serious work.”

• Clean, comfortable and I liked the second sink in the dressing area.

“The gentlemen at guest services offered help with the move, he was friendly and pleasant. At check out, we forget the guitar, a week later we called, and they stile had it. Thank you for the house keeping department.”

• Nice beds.
• Phone system.

“The room was extremely clean and comfortable - but the phone system was about worthless. The message light blinked all the time whether I had a message or not, and all I got was a busy signal when I tried to make a credit card call. On about half the channels on the TV, the picture would freeze and the audio echo.”

• The lobby was lovely, the room was great.
• Parking lot views for most of the rooms.

“We enjoyed the stay. We attended a convention at the hotel. It is close to other restaurants and easy to walk to. It is close to the freeway but far enough away to avoid the noise. The lobby area is very attractive and cozy. Great place to talk with friends. Our rooms were very generous. Great bath area with sinks in and outside of the shower area. Great for ladies!”

• Cookie upon arrival.
• The trains go through every half hour! couldn't sleep!

“The hotel has all the amenities business travelers need internet connection, business center, workout/pool area. Rooms were fine, looks like there has been some upgrading. Great that the blankets are covered top and bottom with sheets. But the train goes through what felt like every half hour when I was trying to sleep. That made it miserable. I don't know if there are any hotels in Ontario that doesn't happen to unless the hotels are well sound-proofed.”

• Comfort and quiet.
• Confusing because it was so large and spread out.

“Did not seem as friendly and relaxed when you first walk in. More like a business mans place. Our room and stay was very comfortable and we have no complaints about that at all. We were very happy with this stay.”

• Clean, quiet, comfortable, great price, nice people, very pleasant, comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of towels and amenities, warm cookies was great.
• Can't think of one thing, we didn't like except more than a 2 cup coffee pot & more cream & sugar, but with all the positive things that is insignificant.

“A very pleasant stay, and well worth the price. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. Size of the room, amenities, desk person, towels and hair dryer, cleanliness of the rooms and hotel, location, all of these are good. The warm cookies was a cherry on the top!”

• Air conditioning worked on and off and phone issues that couldn't be fixed in the 4 night stay.

• Beautiful, comfortable, welcoming.
• Very spread-out. Room was in another building. Had to move car after check-in.

“My daughter and I were very impressed by the tasteful decor and comfort of the bed. Big bathroom, great beds, great service. And a warm chocolate chip cookie upon check-in. WOW!”

• Close proximity to eateries & Ontario mall.
• The view we got from our room & the Starbuck's staff is extremely rude!

“Overall we were not wowed by this hotel as we have been with others. The rooms were very clean, very huge, & had designer toiletries, however, we got a view of the back of some factory (which was not nice at all). The room service was very quick & delicious. The pool was very big & stayed open until 11. The key entry into the hotel buildings did not work however & the staff at Starbucks looked like they rather just not get customers. I've seen way better 3 star hotels than this one with a lot more customer service. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.”

• Very friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful pool/spa.
• Some confusion at check in regarding room deposit or credit card authorization.

“From the outside the hotel looks to be older, but do not be deceived inside very plush waiting areas. Lots of wedding activities on the grounds on Saturday and Sunday, but very peaceful and tranquil overall. Had all the goodies for the business/leisure traveler. Super comfortable rooms and close proximity to all eating places inside and outside of hotel.”

• The room was clean.
• Very loud room-not sound proof at all, woke up many times by other guests throughout the night and morning, cot uncomfortable could feel springs.

“Rooms were clean, but very loud. The door didn't seem to buffer any of the noise from the hall and didn't go all the way to the floor. You could see light from the hallway at night and couldn't get a complete dark room. I was awakened many times during the night and early morning by other guests.”

• The staff blew me away with their excellent service and family friendly attitude.

“Amazing staff took care of all of our needs and beyond. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was fabulous and offer oversized towels on location. The surroundings and amenities reminded me of a tasteful hotel from the Vegas strip.”

“I doubt I'd stay here again. Room A/C was very weak. Ice maker was far from the room. Staff was friendly. But room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave.”

• The grounds were beautifully landscaped and romantic. The beds were super comfortable.
• The lounge was unaccommodating to guests due to super strict dress code enforcement.

“The common areas and landscaping of the hotel grounds were beautifully decorated and maintained. Hotel staff was all very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was centrally located to many restaurants and close to the outlet mall.”

• This hotel is like a home from home with room service.
• There was never a bad moment at all.

“I first stayed at this hotel about three years ago. Me and my wife drive to Ontario for the comedy acts at the Improv. We drive from San Diego and I don't like driving back.”

• Loved the cleanliness and look and cookies of course.
• The dining and rooms service were a bit pricy.

“My only real compliant is they closed the gift shop and said they would return at a specific time and were about 20 mins later then that. All in all my spouse and I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.”

• The landscape and the bed was very comfortable.
• The front door latch was broken, but there was still the main lock which worked fine.

“The staff was excellent. They asked if I needed help with my luggage. The room was clean and I had everything I needed. I enjoyed going out on the balcony and view of the pool, fountain and beautiful landscape. The price for breakfast was very high, over $9 just for continental. But they did bring it to the room at the time you want it, which is convenient.”

• Had to pay extra for room convenience and for internet access.

“The hotel and staff were nice, however unless we wanted to stay in a room way far away from the conveniences of the hotel, i.e. the pool, restaurants, gift shop, etc. we had to pay an addition $20.00 per night, which we did end up doing. Also I do not like having to pay an addition $12.00 per day for internet access. That is ridiculous. I ended up paying the regular price for a standard room.”

• Shuttle didn't show up at the airport to pick me up.

“The room is wonderful, clean, large, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The hotel grounds are beautiful with the pool, fountains, and landscaping. Warm chocolate cookies add a great touch when you check in.”

• The hotel had a live band in the hotel bar every night.
• They charged for internet and water. Internet should be free at a three star hotel.

“This was a great hotel. It was clean, safe, and fun. A live band plays in the hotel bar every night. The bar was laid back, relaxing and comfortably full. I was irritated by having to pay $10 a day for internet.”

• They were having problems with the a/c but they were very quick on resolving it.

• The warm cookies they gave at checkout.
• The pool was under renovation and they offered the neighboring hotel pool. That pool was gross. The color scheme of the room wasn't good either.

“The decor of the hotel isn't what I normally expect to see from a double tree hotel. The staff was excellent and friendly. The warm cookies given upon check in was excellent!”

• Free parking, large room, good coffee.
• Needed dusting, hair in tub and bathroom floor.

“Pool was out of commission due to a major renovation. I liked the location. We had a nice big balcony with 2 chairs and table. The rooms were large but they would not give us a room with a king bed. The room was not very clean. There were dust bunnies in the bedside table and TV area. Found hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor. The Hilton is nicer.”

• Promtness at the front counter and cleanliness of the parking lot and the rooms.
• Misty's Lounge is discriminatory against average dressed guests.

“Misty's manager, gave us a complimentary bottle of Champaign and chocolates. However, I would have rather been treated better by the employee than to get anything free. It was my 22nd anniversary and I will always remember how sad I felt when the employee at the door at Misty's looked me up and down as if I was below their station and how the two employees leaning on the counter were making a joke when I was serious about my complaint. I actually want my money back. what is your advice as to what I should do? at the end they were nice, but I am sad they swept it under the rug. I guess I should just stay at home for my anniversary next year.”
