• Rooms with kitchens, great breakfast, quiet.
• Out of 3 visits, dish washers in room didn't work. Free laundry detergent is nice but I'd rather use a decent washer/dryer.

“Every thing was excellent except for two items. 1. Dishwashers in rooms didn't work. 2. Washers & dryers need to be upgraded, they were terrible. If I stay again I'll do my laundry else where which means I probably won't revisit until they upgrade washers & dryers.”

• Hot tub wasnt very hot/no bubbles.

“I thought this hotel was wonderful; I traveled by myself and only spent one night, which was a shame because it I could have stayed longer. The bathroom was nice, king size bed, and a couch, plus a min kitchen. The hotel staff was super helpful and nice. They had a managers night in the dinning area the day I got there which included complimentary wine, beer and cheese. I loved the location because it was secluded yet close to the 5 and Irvine spectrum. Very safe area.”

• Wonderful breakfast complimentary.
• No elevator.

“Marriott gets it right. Wonderful place to stay. I spent 4 days here. Fabulous breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles etc. Very friendly staff. Lobby internet access. Rooms very comfortable. Full size kitchen. Housekeeping was excellent.”

• Very quiet room, pleasant grounds, excellent free breakfast including sausage/potatoes/cooked eggs/waffles and much more!
• Thought was lacking. Bathroom old tile etc. Sleeper couch to small/uncomfortable for kids.

“Though it was nice, the bathroom had older beat up linoleum flooring/old looking tub. The sleeper couch was to small (double sized) and way to uncomfortable, even for our kids! Everything else was great. If you are going for a romantic stay, I would suggest going to a different hotel. This one is family oriented and kids are running all around the grounds during the day (unsupervised most of the time). They allow dogs too (weird!).”

• Water pressure in showers is very low.

“The hotel is a must for individuals looking to stay for more than one night. There is plenty of space, two desks, a couch, large bathroom, and kitchen complete with sink, stove, refrigerator, and microwave in most of the rooms! Free high speed internet in all the rooms is an added plus (via Ethernet-wish it was wireless).”

• Quiet and safe. Nicely kept grounds, friendly helpful staff.
• Would like wireless internet available in the room.

“This was a nice peaceful stay. It is in a business park area, but felt safe and was quiet. The suites are well appointed and comfy. I would have liked wireless internet, but the cable connection worked fine. Nice breakfast offerings and dinner offered at no charge Monday thru Thursday.”

• Clean, pleasant staff, great service, just asks and it was provided.
• Bed was too soft and I did not sleep well.

“It is located in a business district. Staff was very quick to respond. The bedding got soiled. We called and they came with fresh bedding within 20 min. I have a bad back and need a firm bed the room we were in the bed was too soft. We would have changed rooms but this was convenient to other family members.”

• Residence Inn is our most favorite hotel.
• Nothing.

“We absolutely love Residence Inn! The floor plan is just like that of an apartment! The other Marriott's are great too, but most of the time we prefer a kitchenette (and their kitchen is fully loaded). We got a fireplace too, which was wonderful! ”

• Very good breakfast, better than expected.
• Need cleaner sheets and towel. Staffs are friendly, but made terrible mistake during check in.

“Location is okay, about 10-15 minutes from freeway. Room space is okay. Room is a little old, but it has mini kitchen (stove, microwave, refrigerators, pots pans and utensils). Sheets and towel is not as clean as other Marriott hotels, bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly, there are hairs in the bathtub and shower curtain. The worst thing is that we were given a key to a room that has been occupied, and that was pass 10 PM on a rainy day. We tried to open the door repeatedly, and the person inside was scared as we were very surprised (we can tell they were sleeping). We were then given another room while waiting outside on the rain with the children (the hotel access is via parking). Breakfast is good, more than expected. Checkout is fast.”

• Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed having a kitchen. Enjoyed the light dinner and breakfast included in the price of the hotel.
• The hotel met my expectations. There was nothing that I did not like. The only thing I would have changed was offering a kid friendly meal at dinner.

“My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We simply needed a place to stay while our house was having some work done on it. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The decor was also up to date. Having a kitchen was also a tremendous plus. Finally, having a light dinner and breakfast included in the price really helped us financially. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. In the future if we ever have more worked done on our house, this hotel will be our home away from home.”

• Housekeeper uses too much chemical spray to cover up a moldy smell.

“Great set-up, feels safe, the only problem was a moldy smell in the room. Also, the housekeeping uses lots of chemical sprays to cover it up. It is probably the air filters need to be cleaned or the feather bedding wasn't fresh.”

• Cleanliness is my greatest concern, and this hotel was immaculate.
• No restaurants or shops nearby. Jacuzzi was lukewarm.

“This facility was one of the best we've ever used. The front desk staff made us feel at home the minute we walked in the door. The facility and grounds were beautiful. Our room was spacious and immaculate. The room attendants were friendly. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The facility provided a number of unexpected extras, like magazines and evening snacks. The location would be a drawback if you don't have a car, as the facility is in an office area with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. My husband and I found it to be peaceful and relaxing.”

• Free hot breakfast every morning, fresh coffee/tea all day long. Very quiet.
• The bathroom "vanity area" is open to the whole room. Noise and light may bother 2nd guest.

“The hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was prompt and friendly as well. I wish it had a gym though as the hotel is far from the beaten path. There are no grocery stores nearby either which makes a quick trip for snacks or items to put in your fridge a real "adventure" as Irvine isn't designed for the traveler and getting off/on the freeway and finding shopping is difficult.”

“We couldn't sleep in 1st night, because the upstair make a lot of noise when they walk or they are in the bath room, we could hear everything, but 2nd day we asked to move to another room, it's no problem and we slept very well.”

• The employees where very nice. The room was large and clean.The hotel was within 5 minutes of the Irvine Spectrum. So there was always something to do.
