“Excellent experience. Would stay there again now that I know how to get there. Indoor pool looks beautiful, so I will bring bathing suit next time. Gym is good and convenient to pool.” Sep 24, 2009 by
Nima from Fremont,CA
“Overall a decent hotel but the room service and parking were defiantly poor.” Sep 17, 2009 by
Aya from Long Beach,CA
“Great clean hotel, but needs to be renovated. paying for parking is a drag, and the inernet is not free.” Sep 10, 2009 by
Stan from La Mesa,CA
“Overall, our stay at the Crowne Plaza Irvine was pleasant and relaxing. Although we did not spend much time in the room the noise level outside the room was a bit annoying especially waking up to constant rattling from the elevator.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Jim from Santa Monica,CA
“I had room 319 and 411 for one night. Both rooms were 83 degrees at check in. The air-con was so week in room 319 that after one hour set at 70, it was still at 80. Windows would not open. Maintenance just set at 65 and left running while we went out, I believe. But it did get cold over the hours. Room 411: I set air at 70 overnight and in the morning it was 79 and stuffy. Windows did not open. When I pressed, staff admitted that they get a lot of complaints about AC. I would not stay at this hotel at any price, ever again. Its beautiful and well staffed, but you have to able to cool the room or at least open a window.” Sep 8, 2009 by
Jeanette from Victorville,CA
“Nice and relaxing.” Sep 4, 2009 by
Steven from Desert Hot Springs,CA
“My wife and I had a nice stay at this hotel and it was very clean and had a lot to offer as well as a restaurant and lounge areas.” Sep 3, 2009 by
Debbie from Valencia,CA
“This hotel is perfect for those of you not spending much time in the room. Great price but not an upscale hotel. The indoor pool was the worst I have seen in a while. Too many chemicals and it was indoor so it was very muggy and humid. The rooms were basic rooms. They were clean just outdated.” Aug 24, 2009 by
mtp from San Jose,CA
“The beds were uncomfortable and the maid was frugal with replenishing toiletries but otherwise, the hotel was nice and affordable because of price line. The $12/night for parking was reasonable. The location was interested as it was in the middle of a business park but very close to the freeway.” Aug 23, 2009 by
Steve from Las Vegas,NV
“One of the older hotels in the area.” Aug 19, 2009 by
Todd from La Quinta,CA
“This hotel is OK, nothing fancy, rooms are average, we've stayed in much nicer for about the same price. The one thing that really ruined our stay was the elevators. We stayed for one night, actually stayed in the hotel for less than 24 hours and in that time we spent 30 minutes total waiting for elevators. They have three total, one didn't seem to be working at all, one was acting very strange (when it arrived at a floor if you were in the elevator you'd have to press the "open door" button to get it to actually open the door, so if nobody was in the elevator to press the button it would never open up, just go up and down. If you were waiting on a floor and had pressed the button the elevator would arrive, not open the door, then leave). The third was working OK, but was so busy it took forever to get it. We would have used the stairs but we were on the 10th floor. I brought this up with the hotel staff at checkout, she said she knew about the problem and eventually they were going to get a new system, but nothing she could do. I won't be staying at this place ever again so unfortunately I'll never see the new system.” Aug 13, 2009 by
Phyllis from Ventura,CA
“Hotel was nice, clean, near the city buildings and freeway for easy on and off the freeway. Parking fee of $12 was off set by the free internet I am usually charged for. No family restaurant that I saw around, like IHOP or Marie Calendars, even a McDonald's would have been good. The hotel itself is good.” Aug 12, 2009 by
Yad from Sunnyvale,CA
“Close to downtown irvine and great for business travellers.” Aug 9, 2009 by
Barbara from Desert Hot Springs,CA
“The room was small, but had extras such as ear plugs and eye mask, nice bed, down pillows. The air conditioner didn't work, but they fixed it immediately. The pool was indoors, but it was like a maze to find it. Overall, a nice place to stay.” Jul 26, 2009 by
Justin from Tustin,CA
“The hotel stall was extremely rude unfriendly and unhelpful, I was treated differently from the other guests and was disrespected. The hotel staff stuck there nose in the air my whole stay, the parking gate attendants were also extremely rude, questioning me every time I left as if I wasn't going to return and pay the ridiculous fee for parking. I was not very impressed with this hotel.” Jul 17, 2009 by
Brent from Tehachapi,CA
“Nice hotel and staff was very friendly and courteous.” Jul 10, 2009 by
N from Los Aneles,CA
“Very friendly staff. Good bet for the price. The check-in cleark threw in free breakfast for all four of us, because the shower curtain was missing (which they replaced bwfore we brought our luggage up). Except for the small size of the room it was a pleasant one night get away.” Jun 5, 2009 by
Frank from Costa Mesa,CA
“I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.” May 27, 2009 by
Darrell from Henderson,NV
“We'll stay at this hotel again. Staff was great and rooms were very clean and quiet.” May 24, 2009 by
Albert from Carlsbad,CA
“Excellent business hotel in the middle of the Irvine business area. Very comfortable, a great place to relax after a hard day. Very clean and comfortable.” May 16, 2009 by
Mel from Prescott,AZ
“Big place, probably nice for several day stay.” May 7, 2009 by
Linda from Bak,CA
“Nice over all and very clean.” May 1, 2009 by
Michele from Fountain Hills,AZ
“Poor service and quality. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at and the front desk staff was very rude. One of my 2 rooms were very hot because the air conditioner did not work and when asked to fix it, it was never fixed. During the breakfast we had, he had great service. The food however was not good and the pastries were stale. I travel 10 out of 30 days a month and typically stay at Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt properties. This experience will cause me to stay with the other brands.” Apr 27, 2009 by
Laurie from Modesto,CA
“Excellent hotel, beautiful entry, comfortable beds, very clean, no major complaints, parking stalls were a little tight.” Apr 23, 2009 by
Jackie from Castro Valley,CA
“I used to stay at Hyatt Irvine for the past 4 yrs ever since my older son is attending UC Irvine. This time,I was visiting universities with my younger son, I wanted to try Crown Plaza. But to my disappointment, the front desk is not very friendly. They did not even care to lift their eyes to look and greet at me when I was standing in front of them for about 10 min. They were busy talking on the phone for some unimportant issue. I felt being ignored and discriminated. My conclusion to this experience, I will go back and stay at Hyatt from now on.” Apr 2, 2009 by
Sofia from Anaheim,CA
“My stay was good. The front desk personnel was rude. House keeping was great so was parking attendant. Which helped my stay to be okay.” Mar 16, 2009 by
George from Cedar Hills,UT
“The hotel is well situated, the staff pleasant and the hotel was clean and well kept.” Feb 25, 2009 by
Robert from Los Altos,CA
“This hotel is close to John Wayne Airport and off major highways. Room is clean but is slightly smaller than others. Staff was just okay. Swimming pool was cold.” Feb 24, 2009 by
David from San Diego,CA
“Hit and miss hotel. Some rooms good, others not. Best for business or necessity.” Feb 17, 2009 by
Marc from Santa Cruz,CA
“The Crowne Plaza was a great choice for our needs. It was centrally located, right off the freeway, and the staff was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It's probably in a location suitable more for the business traveler than the leisure traveler as it is located in a business park.” Oct 21, 2008 by
Willis

“The rooms need to be updated and the room feels very closed in and small due to the low ceilings.” Sep 12, 2008 by
John from San Diego, CA
“Although perfect for the business traveler such as myself, I would not recommend this hotel to families or budget conscious people. The fact that they charge $19 for valet parking is ridiculous. The restaurant, while nice & clean, has a poor menu, and considering how slow it was when I dined in the evening, it took far too long to have my food prepared. The fitness room was certainly not 4 star quality. This hotel should be no more than 3 star. I travel often and stay at different hotels and dine at different restaurants, so I am very conscious of these things.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Gloria from Fort Walton Beach, FL
“The hotel is beautiful, the staff is helpful and friendly and willing to accommodate in any way possible. The rooms were immaculate as well. The only downfall is paying for parking. I don't feel hotel guests should pay for the parking.” Aug 30, 2008 by
Charlene from Rialto, CA
“The safety of the facilities are poor, my grandson had an accident at the pool because there was no cover on the drainage hole.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Benjamin from Moreno Valley, CA
“The power went out on the last day of our stay, and my wife couldn't do her hair, and I couldn't iron my shirt. It was a big inconvenience.” Aug 27, 2008 by
Gary from West Covina, CA
“Great location and service for my families last minute.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Suzanne from Moorpark, CA
“Very nice accommodations. Lobby was pretty, staff was nice and the room was clean and pleasant.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Lisa from Pittsburgh, PA
“Very displeased with this 3 star hotel. Room Small cramped and unattractive. Located near elevator and noisy.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Rj from Lake Forest, CA
“The rooms had no refrigerator, I had to pay for parking even while I stayed there, the beds were uncomfortable and there was no continental breakfast for being a three star and near an airport.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Katherine from Temecula, CA
“We had a late arrival and we were given a smaller room for 1 night and as compensation offered free breakfast. The next day we were moved into the greatest room and our view of the city was great! The staff was super accommodating! Greatly appreciated!” Aug 14, 2008 by
Salma from Temecula, CA
“We were in town for a soccer tournament. Having laundry in the hotel was extremely helpful. I would definitely stay there again.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Caryn from Cathedral City, CA
“Hotel was nice but not family friendly. Room was very small but nice, gave us 2 double beds, really needed 2 queens for 4 of us. Small beds but comfortable. Had room service but no where to eat it as room was so small. Even room service waiter said "there's no room to put it" had to eat on the beds.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Thomas from Henderson, NV
“Hotel rooms were very small, beds were twin not queen, the shape (rounded) was very weird and not at all how the photo looked!” Jul 30, 2008 by
Sue from Costa Mesa, CA
“Overall, our stay at Crowne Plaza was very pleasant. Appreciated the free internet service and complimentary bottled water as well as the sleepy time kit. Housekeeping was excellent. The shuttle service was alright though it felt like it ran more on demand than actual schedule. We still feel that parking should be free or just a nominal fee rather than the $19/night.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Raynond from San Antonio, TX
“This is a nice hotel in a quiet business neighborhood. The location is also near the airport. It is very good for business traveler. I found the gas station and restaurants are not nearby.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Carrie from Escondido, CA
“We were treated like royalty by the staff. This was truly a memorable stay.”
