“Affordable, clean attractive hotel. Many ammenities. Beautiful Irvine location. Walking distance to fine dining and services. Easy freeway access. Staff was friendly and helpful at every turn.”

• The overall look and feel was great - plus they had one of the best Happy Hours I have been to
• On our second day, the hotel was overfull with kids running around everywhere - way too crowded.

“It was a wonderful hotel, and Friday was more than perfect. On Saturday it seemed the hotel filled with unsupervised kids, running around and screaming everywhere, which really took away from our enjoyment. Happy hour was impossible, as the line was way too long coupled with the screaming kids - we went to El Torito instead. On Sunday, the continental breakfast was even worse than the night before, with all 3 elevators filled with unsupervised kids taking multiple plates of food up to their room - you could not even move in the breakfast area. Again, we turned around and left and ate elsewhere. It was really too bad because the hotel itself was so nice.”

• Breakfast and happy hour were on the house which was a little bit convenient.
• Housekeeping was not good our room was always dirty, the towels were all yellow and old, the staff had an attitude 95% of the time.

“This hotel is only and only a business hotel, there is no outside pool but the indoor pool is ok as well. The housekeeping staff in this hotel don't know what the they are doing not cleaning like they should. The hotel towels were all dirty and old with some noticeable spots all over them. The staff was not hospitable unfriendly to the guests at the start of our stay to the end. Also not enough drawer space in the rooms and no safe. Didn't like it don't recommend it!”

• The bedroom was nicely set up and really helped me to relax and enjoy my weekend.

• Bed too small, shower did not work, room was tiny, too many kids there.

“We stayed in a room that was not a suite and it was very, very small. Also, it had only one double bed. Why even make a room that small, and with only a double bed? Plus, I guess this is where all the jr. high and high school kids stay for their competitions so there were hundreds of teens running around a being annoying. Also, the shower head was loose so you had to hold the shower hose the whole time instead of putting it up so you could stand under it. Also $15 parking! Stay here only if you can get a suite and it is cheap.”

“The hotel was convenient and clean, the room was nice, but not enough draw space to unpack. The big downsides were that we did not know the hotel was under construction. Pool facilities were unavailable. Plus, we were very disappointed that they were charging extra $15/day for on site parking.”

“Free happy hour with any drink you would like, and free breakfast in the morning. Although the website says complimentary wi-fi internet access it cost $ 9.95 for 24 hours. Never mentioned anything about $15/day parking fee. Staff was friendly, room was small.”

• Adequate room, parking close, close to hotel, but the best was the staff. Excellent and kudos to Wii at the front desk.
• Under construction, didn't know until we booked. No record room or Jacuzzi access.

“Good location and easy access from John Wayne airport. Staff was excellent and helpful. Right now with construction it is a bit cluttered, but the stay was good overall.”

• The water was shut off, no ashtrays, no toothpaste.

“The water was shut off without prior notification. I ordered a smoking room, and there were no ashtrays. There was no complimentary toothpaste available. There was constant drilling and other construction noise. I had no idea that the hotel was under construction when I made the reservation, or when I checked in. The construction was very obvious as I went to my room. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.”

“Close to john Wayne airport and other major hotels. Right off the freeway with easy access to several freeways. Great breakfast and even managers reception. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff was all very gracious. Didn't care for the $10/day fee for wig if.”

“The hotel was nice and staff was great. The only disappointment was my $30.00 chicken dinner plate was cold in the center (ordered room service). They corrected it a.s.a.p. At no charge. I will return and recommend anyone to stay there.”

• My room said suite on the door and it was not a suite. It was a small single room with one double bed.

“For a hotel that is advertised as all "suites" I was bitterly disappointed. Room service and the bar close at 10 p.m. The room was small to the point of being cramped, let alone a suite. It contained one double bed that was uncomfortable and no writing surface that was the correct height. I had to stand to write anything or to use my computer. There was no food available of any description. I was directed to a market that meant driving a mile to get food. There was no way to heat the food, let alone to keep drinks cold. I have not stayed in an Embassy Suites for quite some time. It would appear that they are no longer the terrific chain that they used to be. I can only assume that it is a function of Hilton's attitude of not caring for the customer. I will never stay at one again.”

“I was very disappointed with the room. I was given about half the size of a normal Doubletree room and it was a handicapped room at that. There were plenty of rooms available that night at the hotel; it was not sold out by a long shot. The hotel was nice but the experience was not. By the way, I am 6' 5" and taking a shower with the shower head at less than 6' is annoying and the fact that the closet racks were low enough for my clothes to drag the floor when they were hung up is laughable.”

• Good location. Rooms block out noise, cannot hear airplanes taking off or arriving.
• We originally requested for 2 double beds and they told us when we arrived that it was not guaranteed and one of us slept on a bad sofa bed.

“The hotel was unable to provide us the 2 double beds. Consequently, one of us slept on the most uncomfortable sofa bed. They were not willing to put us into a room with 2 doubles the next day because they claimed that they were full. I then asked for an extra padding for the sofa bed because the springs were popping up and they did not honor our request. Terrible service.”

“Our first time at Embassy Suites and we will certainly return and recommend to others. Staff was very pleasant, Rooms were large, clean and comfortable, and the morning breakfast was great and a very nice touch, especially for families. During our vacation we stayed at two other 4star hotels and none compared with Embassy Suites. Keep up the good work!”

• The room was right by the elevators but very quiet as very sturdy.
• The bed needed to be turned as I felt like I was falling off the side.

“I was very pleased to get this hotel at this price! Then I received another upgrade when I checked in and had a one bedroom suite. Very nice room and really enjoyed the space, table & chairs, couch and fridge.”

“The duration of my stay was very pleasant. Staff was extremely nice with their extended service. The only complain I have was the last day of my stay. The power went out at about 10:30 am when we were trying to eat our breakfast and other member of my family was trying to get ready. Being in the dark made it very difficult for us to pack, not to mention shower and get the kids ready.”

• It is a nice hotel with very friendly front staff.
• The food servers and bus persons are outrage rude. They have attitude problem.

• I get the room about 80 square feet with a twin bed.

“This is a mismatch with the offer. I expected a bigger room and at least a queen bed. I have to sleep on the floor because the bed is twin size we have two persons in one room.”
