• Clean.
• The breakfast food was of a cheap nature. Powdered eggs and fake bacon. ETC.

“My wife and I used the hotel as a stop off for Disneyland and our stay there was great. The room had a great view of the city and was very clean. The hotel staff was more than helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone and everyone.”

• Overall a very nice hotel.
• Hotel took our named price but then tacked on $16 nightly for parking, there was no alternative to park.

“The Hotel was nice, but we did not come to the location to spend time in the hotel so when they tacked on parking it was more expensive. The hotel tacked on $16 per night for parking, making our stay more expensive than planned.”

• Clean and comfortable rooms.

“Two issues. 1- We choose a hotel with a swimming pool. This hotel had a nice pool but no water in the pool. 2- Two adults in the room next to us were yelling at each other at 5:30 am. It seemed like they were throwing things at our shared wall and their baby was crying her heart out. We called the front desk to report this 2 times (5:30 and 6 am), but the yelling and crying continued and I did not hear their phone ring or a hotel employee knock at their door. This was reported to the front desk when we checked out and they were kind enough to wave the parking fee, but that does not make up for my son waking up at 5:30 am in a panic (caused by yelling and things being thrown around) and my whole family being sleepy all day Saturday. Could not sleep till about 11 pm due to very loud airport noise and woke up at 5:30 am because of the issue noted above.”

• Very clean and neat. The staff was extremely helpful.
• The rooms didn't have fridges. Had to pay to park.

“ Great hotel, I would stay here again. Rooms are very nice. Pillows are great. The location is supreme. 10 minutes from Newport Beach and not far from Huntington and Laguna too. The only knock on the hotel is that you have to pay $15/night extra for a fridge and $16/night for parking. ”

“We were put in a room with an adjoining room. The guests in the other room was making loud noises after 11pm and starting smoking after midnight. Smoke came in to our room and I had to turn on the air conditioner to try to breathe. I called the front desk twice that night and when I stopped by the desk in the morning, I was given one complimentary breakfast buffet and no apologies.”

• Bed was very comfortable, nice rooms.
• $16 per day parking! That is crazy, this is not NYC!

“Despite the outrageous parking fee ($16 per night) the hotel was very clean, the rooms were nice and the bed very comfortable. The walls were a bit thin, I could hear much of the conversation from the room next door.”

• Beautiful new room decor - "the most beautiful hotel room I've stayed in," said my wife.
• In first room heat did not work, many things were missing, had to relocate to new room.

“Beautiful new decor, a little on the cold trendy side for our tastes, but high-style OC airport appropriate. Planes could barely be heard, great comfy bed, top quality all around. Downside: When our first room lacked heat, remote, soap dish and suitcase stand, we had to relocate to new room. Hotel was slow to respond to this and never uttered a word of apology or offered to make it up to us. Not great for Hilton, but a beautiful property.”

• The superior quality of the pillows. Heavenly is the perfect word.
• This hotel charged for parking. It was pricey and inconvenient.

“Most of the staff was friendly. The hotel room was satisfactory and the bed pillows were heavenly. It was a pleasure to go to sleep. The parking fees were high and proved to be inconvenient since we had to check out daily from the parking lot.”

• Beds were very comfortable.
• Front desk staff was unfriendly seemed bothered when asked a question.

“The hotel was convenient for our visit and the beds were very comfortable and there was a nice, large pool except you had to walk through the open dining room to get out to the pool which was uncomfortable. We had to call several times for towels and washcloths because they had not left enough, or any, in our room. The room was suppose to have an iron and ironing board, but we had to call for one to be brought up. The bathroom had no tub and the handicapped shower left the entire bathroom floor wet. The larger bathroom made the room itself very cramped with not much room to move around the beds.”

• Parking, no gift shop, out of papers, need to replace windows.

“Hotel is nice but I would not stay again because of the hassle and cost of parking! I have stayed at other hotels in the area and the noise from the airport is worse here due to old windows. The pool is nice but the surrounding concrete is chipped and broken.”

• The location is great and the lobby is attractive.
• Noisy and dirty dishes were not cleaned from hallways.

“This Hilton is not quite up to the standard I have come to expect from the Hilton name. It is a nice enough place. The hotel lobby has just been remodelled. It is modern and attractive. The service was good and the staff was helpful. We had an issue with a backed up drain in the shower, but someone was sent up to fix it immediately. The bed and linen is standard Hilton quality. The pool is good sized, but not the greatest. There must have been a soccer tournament going on, so there were a million kids running around the hotel and pool. Just bad timing on my stay. What bugged me the most was that there were dirty dishes, room service items, pizza boxes, etc. just left outside of every room for over a 24 hour period. That should have been dealt with in a more timely manner. Also, every time anyone flushes a toilet anywhere near your room, you can definitely hear it. I was a bit worried about airplane noise, being right next to John Wayne Airport, but I heard no jet noise at all. Beside that, my only issue was the $16 per day self parking and the $12.99 internet 24hour fee. These are also Hilton staples. I always figure those in as part of my stay. Despite the issues I mentioned, The room was comfortable. I would go back again.”

• The self park is a long way from the front door.

“This hotel is directly across from the Orange County Airport making it a perfect last night hotel before departing from SNA. The lobby is beautifully furnished in a sleek, California style and the rooms are comfortably decorated with classic Hilton touches such as a large, dark wood work desk and nice amenities from Crabtree and Evelyn.”

“The staff was rude and treated us like we were some outsiders low class people. A bad experience with the food and was told they would take care of it, they did not it was still on my bill. When we called before arrival they said they had balconies to smoke on, that was a lie, the door would only open 4 inches. they lied about the law said it was the law, however other hotels in the area had balconies. Will never return to this hotel.”

“The guy running the omelet station was in over his head. He fell so far behind that he asked people to go sit down for 5 minutes then come back and pick up the omelet. When I came back my eggs were already gone. The worst part was when I asked where my breakfast was, he argued with me about my order. Send him back to McDonald's!”

“This was a short stay. I checked in late after attending a wedding and had to leave early in the morning to catch a plane. I was on the 6th floor, but could hear people talking in the Courtyard and smelled cigarette smoke. After getting up and checking I found the sliding glass door was not closed. I could not close it until I lifted the door back on its track. The hotel charged a $15 fee for parking an I was billed $13 for a 3 minute long distance phone call. Other than that the room and hotel was very nice.”

• We were placed in a room near a group of High School Dance Competition student's rooms and they were quite noisy at night!.

• I loved the beds. The pool looked nice (too cold). Staff was friendly.
• $13.00 a day for parking and there was hardly any parking.

“I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was busy-some sort of convention. The pool/hot tub were nice, but it was to cold to swim. The coffee--excellent. The staff was friendly. I was across the street from the airport and barely heard a plane. I would stay here again-except no validating for parking and the parking is in their hotel.”
