• It was clean, had great service and free breakfast.
• It is a little far from Disneyland.

“This hotel was a great value. They had great customer service and it provided a decent breakfast of bagels, muffins, donuts, oatmeal and more. The bed wasn't super comfortable but decent. The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer and of course TV. The hotel also had a coin-op laundry facility, workout room and pool. I really enjoyed my stay there.”

• Great staff, everyday clean room, excellent breakfast.

“This is an excellent hotel to stay at. They provide free toothbrush, razors, and other things if you forgot them. They are in a quiet area where there are no traffic noise or people noise. It is close to everything that we went to (Disneyland, Medieval Times, and Huntington Beach).”

• It was clean, quiet, had coffee in room with microwave, and fridge, served continental breakfast. This hotel was much more than a 1 star hotel.
• Did not have its own restaurant, small room no table just desk.

• The description completely matched the hotel. Breakfast was good and service was excellent.
• Room was smaller than we expected but it was fine.

“The hotel is attractive, clean, and the directions to get there were very clear. The purpose of our stay was to go to Disneyland and it was really easy and quick to get there the staff even gave us complete directions to get there also. The staff was more than welcoming and were ready to help us out with what ever we needed. I would definitely stay here again.”

• I had my mom in a wheelchair also and the staff was very helpful.
• I loved everything.

“Staff was friendly and lots of smiles. The morning breakfast lady was so awesome and helpful since I had a child and my mother in a wheelchair, and not enough arms and hands to do it all. The housekeeper was so friendly and fast. The desk manager was friendly and very helpful. I would love to stay there again in the near future.”

• At least the manager made a compromise.
• I requested and they promised two adjacent rooms with two queen beds and they didn't do it.

“They did not inform us before hand they did not intend to keep it. They made no effort to rectify except to supply a roller way bed but barely enough room to fit it in.”

• Very clean, nice room layout fairly good breakfast.
• Staff would not let us exchange rooms to one with two beds, it was clear they were not sold out.

“The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was very pleased for the quality of the room. There was nothing special about the complimentary breakfast compared to other hotels, but it was good none the less. My only complaint was that the employee at the counter would not allow us to switch rooms to one with two beds. She said that there were no available rooms, but it was clear that they were not sold out.”

• Nice neighborhood.
• No hot tub -- need a hot tub in this market.

“Nice location, located a fair distance from Disney or Knotts, but attractive for the business traveler looking for a reasonably good deal from a known flag. Room a little smaller than expected, but okay, nice bathroom. Spa/hot tub missing.”

• Very friendly staff; owned my Marriott so that rooms looked fantastic!
• A bit difficult to find, but otherwise. No complaints.

“The staff was very nice and friendly. Didn't have to wait around for service and it was clear from the get-go that they were there to help you. Room was nicely decorated and cleaned. Has almost the same decorations as Marriott Hotels, so pretty upscale for an inn. There's a microwave and mini-fridge which was convenience. Also there's complimentary breakfast and pizza you can order. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised!”

“The hotel is coordinated under Marriott and thus the service, amenities, and rooms condition are extraordinary. The only setback that we have is that I am traveling with another friend and we need a double-bed. As we checked in and request, the concierge immediately turns us down without even checking for the availability.”

• Very new looking and very clean and nice furniture.
• I couldn't afford to stay longer.

“This hotel has nicer rooms that any three star I have ever seen and the furniture by far exceeds the expectations of a two star hotel. This hotel would be a perfect for any type of travel. I think that by keeping the hotel smoke free allows for easier cleaning of the rooms (linen and paint), and a happier place for families in general. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the breakfast may not be a home cooked meal, but it is good for those one a budget who can use a free meal and business travelers. The pool is not like a ghost town and not over occupied. The flooring actually looks clean enough to walk on bare feet and the appliances are very well maintained. The housekeeping is also very polite and efficient.”

• The room was very nice.
• That required a 100 deposit on credit card which they took and will reimburse.

“I was very upset when I arrived I was informed that I had to put a 100 deposit down on the room and when I checked out I was informed that it will take 3 to 5 days to get that credited back to my credit card I was very upset and think that this was and should have been mentioned before I was placed there. I am still awaiting 100 credit.”

• Very few handicapped rooms, small rooms, no phone and problems with billing.

“The evening staff were good, but the person on the desk was training another staff member and couldn't figure out our bill! We still don't know which credit card was billed. The one used by the first party to check in? the card used by the second party to check in?)”

“I would recommend the Fairfield inn (Anaheim Placentia) to anyone. Everyone from the housekeeper to the front desk made sure that I wanted for nothing. And for a 2 star hotel, that's above/beyond what I would have normally expected.”

“The hotel location is a bit obscure, but if you know the area, you'll do fine. The room was attractive and clean, with all the amenities. The staff however was not very friendly. At least upon check in they weren't.”

• The staff was very courteous. I did not hear my neighbors at all!
• I have nothing negative to say.

“I traveled with my husband and 10 month old twins. We were at the end of the 3rd floor and used the stairs. There is an elevator on the front center of the building. Anyway, there was ample parking and a pool and so forth. We never heard a peep from our neighbors. The beds and linens were comparable to a 5 star hotel. Even though we were only there one night, I actually use the fridge. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• The price we paid was awesome.
• They were renovating and put us next to the room they were using for reception and breakfast, very noisy!

“The price we paid for this Marriot property hotel was fabulous. The staff was helpful with directions, etc. The rooms were very nice, newly redecorated. The elevator was out of service so the room we had on the 2nd floor was not the greatest, but better than the room on the first floor next to the breakfast area.”

“I stayed in this hotel last year and liked its proximity to a rag time festival I attended in Fullerton and to Disneyland, where I spent 2 days. Please note that the toiletry in room 223 is loose on its base and needs to be attended to.”

“It would've been fine, but having smell in the room killed everything. First they gave us the room that had very strong smell of urine or something. We complained and they changed the room, but that other room still had smell, even though too much lesser degree.”

• Room was easily accessible. Breakfast was good.

“It is a smallish hotel with all rooms accessible from the outside. There is a pool, though it was not suitable swimming weather when I stayed. The room was clean. I got on a list for a refrigerator in my room, and it was provided - functional but old and not very attractive. Continental breakfast had lots of options.”
