• Great location.
• Eliminated super breakfast buffet.

“This hotel was a great stay. I stayed 10 days while doing a Costco road show event about 3-4 yrs ago and it was unbeatable, went back this summer for a Disney trip for another 10 day stay and the property has changed hands several times I was told. By uninspired staff who were inundated with complaints. The apparent lack of care by present owners, sad.”

• The free breakfast and large rooms.
• Broken things in the hotel room and no free ride to Disney land which they advertise.

“The rooms are large and clean but there were several broken things in the rooms such as the security lock, half of it was missing. The curtains where shabby and falling down. I had to do on the spot maintenance just so people couldn't peak in at night. The breakfast was good. They advertise a free bus ride to Disney land on the website then when you get there you have to pay 3 bucks a person a day to take the city tram. That adds up when there are 7 of you. I was not happy with that bit of false advertising. Cost me an extra $30 plus gas to park at Disney land for 3 days.”

• I liked how the suite was laid out, the pool area and the breakfast.
• The toilet made noise and was hard to flush.

“Great features for a two star motel. 2 miles from Disneyland, but we had a parking pass, so we didn't mind the drive. Friendly staff.”

• The size of the room and the extras frig, microwave, silverware.
• The heater in our room would not work. We reported it and all they could do was send us blankets. No compensation or real regret given.

“The room was a little run down in areas. It's not a all together bad place. Customer services could be a little better.”

• Offered a decent complimentary breakfast every morning
• Under staffed, room where not too clean.

“Called hotel and requested a certain type of room, was promised a suite with a king size bed and queen sleeper sofa for kids. arrived and was given a one bed, asked to be given another room, and was given a smoking room with two twins and a pull our sofa sleeer, tv did not work, and the bathroom was not clean. the shower was full of mold, and the room itself was just dingy and felt dirty. The good thing was the breakfast offered daily, and shuttle service to disneyland.It made going to disneyland less of a hassle.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Pool towels. Shuttle service to and from Disneyland. Happy hour and breakfast provided what a deal!Area outside was well lit, felt safe. I already told my friends and family what a great stay we had at the Hawthorn Suites Orange.”

• It was clean and close to Disneyland.

“The hotel is 3.5 miles from Disneyland. They have a shuttle service to get you there. The pool area was nice and the rooms were large with kitchens in them.”

• rooms are old and needs remodeling. Far from disneyland. Shuttle inconvenient.

“Hawthorn Suites Orange is in a great location and has a beautiful exterior. However, the rooms are run down and need to be updated. Basics like the TVs in the room did not work and the shower head was faulty.”

• Nice pool, very quiet, hotel nearly empty
• Not as close to Disneyland as I thought it would be

• The room we got seemed higher priced than what we spent
• The shuttle service was by appointment only, very inconvenient

“Even with only average customer service and an extremely inconvenient shuttle service, this hotel far exceceded my expectations. At the price we paid, our stay was a great value!”

• There were dark stains on the carpet.

“Overall very satisfied.Very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly.Comp drink and breakfast was great too.The location from Disneyland is about 3-4 miles and only took about 10 min. to get to park. Hotel is located right off I-5 and is in a very safe well lit area. I highly recommend.”

• Shuttle to disneyland was terrible it was late or I had to call two or more times. It was just BAD. Staff didn't have my reservation so I had to find

• I liked that the hotel rooms had separate bedrooms from the living space.
• The hotel room decor needs updating. The hotel needs some minor repairs.

“Overall this was a nice hotel for the price we paid. The location was very good. The staff was friendly, and the complimentary hot breakfast was definitely a plus! My kids loved the pool and hot tub. ”
