“I rented 3 rooms with 4 of my children and 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, we had a wonderful time and were always treated friendly and helpful will certainly recommend this hotel.”

• The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The warm cookies were great and the staff was customer service oriented.
• The elevators moved a little fast for my mother-in-law.

“The hotel was great. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a view. The employees were very customer service oriented and made sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. Would definitely come back again and refer friends and family.”

• It was across the street from our main cause of travel.
• The room was absolutely bad.

“Staff was really friendly but we got stuck in a really bad 2 twin bed room. It was cramped with my girlfriend and her son, and even if her son was not there, the room would've stunk.”

• Location, good pool area, business center.
• Parking is an added cost.

“Very good value for the money (especially with priceline). Would be even better if parking didn't cost $12/day. Walking distance to Angel Stadium was a bonus. Shuttle to Disney if you're going there (although it only runs once an hour).”

• Good location to Disney with free shuttle.
• There was a screen missing at window so room always cold.

“For the price I paid it was a great location to Disney. With the free shuttle it was 10 minutes away so no hassle of parking and catching the tram. Only thing not good was that one of the screens on my window was missing leaving a hole in the window where you could stick out your arm! Left the room cold all night even with the heater on. I didn't figure it out till last morning and hotel staff said they would get engineering to fix it, but didn't offer much in apologies.”

• The hotel was very clean and we liked the fact that the shuttle went straight from the hotel to Disneyland and did not pick up other hotel's guests.
• Nothing.

“Clean, Friendly staff, great coffee in the lobby, internet access, great shuttle experience to and from Disneyland. Overall, a great stay. I would stay here again and I recommend priceline to everyone I know.”

• Price.
• No free shuttle service, can only use in morning/late can't come back during day before 2:15; rude transport, bad pool location.

“Most staff, except for 2 rude individuals, at restaurant, waiter disappeared forever and we were only the second table in there. Pool is incontinently located and plain and they locked us outside in it (couldn’t get out) since we checked out early but hangout by pool until flight - we had to call security to get out. Shuttle is incontinently and you're stuck at Disney till after 2:15 or later (don't be late they are driving away at they time they tell you to meet). And don't believe web site the shopping area is a walk not right out the door.”

• Close to freeway, easy access to Disneyland, convenient to shopping and restaurants.

“A small thing really, was that it was stocked with enough towels, coffee and cups. And had a disposable shower cap in the bathroom, that many Hotels now are not furnishing.”

• Carpet in the room was dirty. Can't walk barefoot. No fridge in the room.

“Location is nice and staff are nice. Parking fee is reasonable compared to other hotels. The room looked OK except that the carpet is dirty and can't walk on it barefoot. There was no fridge in the bedroom. I found it inconvenient because I had a toddler with me and had milk. Good thing I brought a cooler.”

• It was close to an outside mall and a Cinemax of 30 theaters.
• I really wasn't pleased with their standered room so they let us up grade for $10 this was good but it was during the off season.

“This hotel is good for the business traveler not a romantic get-away or the family with younger children. If you have teens looking for something to do it is located next to the mall shopping, movies, food, etc overall its its about a 6 for this star level. A charge for internet and another for parking.”

• Excellent value! Much more luxurious than one would expect.
• Parking $12 a night, Internet $11 a night.

“This hotel was much nicer than I expected based on the star rating (3.5). The staff was helpful, the facilities were clean, and the overall effect was fairly upscale. In addition, it had a free shuttle to Disneyland and was close to shopping and restaurants.”

• I liked the quietness, prompt delivery of extra items requested.
• Very dirty under the beds. 2 year old found several items - earrings, candy, aspirin.

“Very nice and quiet. Looked over all clean. Housekeeping neglected to clean, vacuum under beds. Not very safe for small children. I made an attempt to complain to the front desk at check out, the wait was too long. There was only one person checking people out. I dropped the keys off in the box.”

• The location was perfect, it was clean, and very cmfortable.
• The Concierge could not use maps on the computer to give us directions an hour away.

“The staff from the moment we got our of the car were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean, quiet and anything we asked for in our room was brought quickly. The beds were very comfortable and the pool area was great for all ages. The only disappointment was as we were leaving we asked for a map to a location in Los Angeles. The Concierge was unable to get the computer working on a map. While waiting I gave directions to another customer who they could not help. After 30 minutes I left with out the directions.”

• Very nice hotel staff.

“Overall is very good. However, the room does not include refrigerator & microwave as seen through the hotel room photos on the Internet web site but after I asked for them because of the milk of my children during the stay, the hotel staff has offered them to my room without any extra charge. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly.”

“What a great, helpful staff. The warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in were divine. Just 5-10 minutes from Disneyland and the hotel was like an oasis. The free shuttle to Disneyland is a plus.”

• TV control out of battery.

“We love the parking right in front, don't have to walk 1/2 mile like others. Restaurants, movie theaters is within 1 mile or less. Friendly staff, quietness. Clean, working showers.”

• This hotel was sparkling clean, which is important to me.
• They couldn't seem to get our room service orders right.

“I would give the Doubletree Hotel an A+ rating. Clean and comfortable is what you hope for after a day at Disney and that's what we received.
Their warm chocolate chip cookies on check-in were a plus too. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and they even prepared an item for me that wasn't offered on the buffet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.”

• The staff was friendly & the room was comfortable.
• TV channels - no Nickelodeon for the kids, but that was
  very minor.

“The staff was very friendly & it was very kind of the hotel operator to call & welcome us back to the hotel. The room was great & we loved that there was a mini-refrigerator. The kids got to use the pool this time & the depth was perfect for them - I was very pleased about that. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay & we look forward to going back again soon.”

• It was nice, clean and home made cookies were awesome!
• I could hear freeway from room.

“I was really pleased with hotel. It had everything we needed. We were really happy with the free shuttle to and from Disneyland. The warm chocolate chip cookies when we arrived were a really nice touch. They were very accommodating with a request for 2 beds.”

• Everything was great, no complaints!

“They welcome you with WARM CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES... very nice. In addition to the sample sizes of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion they also include a tiny tube of sunscreen (very nice!). The hotel is VERY clean, we were on the 10th floor, no traffic noise or "hallway" noise, we slept great! I was impressed that their trash cans are divided, so you can put recyclables on one side and trash in the other. They also conserve water by not washing bedding daily (unless you want them to) which is really great for the environment. Way to go Doubletree! We stayed two nights, we were very comfortable and would definitely stay there again. =)”

• Beautiful, very comfortable & spotless.
• Parking situation.

“The Crowne Plaza was excellent! Very beautiful spacious room, spotless, extremely comfortable. Closer parking. But if you are there to go to Disneyland, park and take their very convienent shuttle. We are very picky and loved the Crowne Plaza. In Anaheim, we have stayed at the Hilton, Hyatt, Candy Cane, Holiday Inn, the Crowne was our favorite.”

• Transportation to Disneyland.
• No transportation to/from the airport.

“Staff is great! Too bad the hotel doesn't offer transportation to/from the airport. It does however offer transportation to Disneyland. Rooms are nothing fancy. They are older and showing signs of wear. Double bed, and pillows are on the hard side. Refrigerator, and microwave in rooms. Overall, a great place to stay if you are not looking for anything too fancy.”

“This is, hands down, the best hotel we've stayed at. I couldn't get over how friendly and helpful the staff were. We paid a very reasonable rate and got far more in service than we expected.
