• It is close to Disneyland.
• It was not very clean.

“My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel on a brief trip to Disneyland. We arrived and were told we had a room with two double beds. We asked if it was possible to have a queen bed and we were told we would have to pay $30 more per night for a queen suite. When we got to our room, it was very small and could hardly be considered a suite. I opened the very small closet to find a hole in the wall that was covered in dust and seemed to be growing some kind of mold. Then I decided to go to the bathroom. I lifted the toilet lid and it was dirty. I immediately called the front desk where the man said he would send someone right away but was in no way apologetic. In the hotels defense, the maid did arrive at our room in less than 5 minutes. She seemed very put out about having to clean our toilet, however. My husband watched as she used a toilet brush to clean the inside of the toilet and then proceeded to use that same brush to scrub the toilet seat. Needless to say that we were not please. At this point, however, it was late at night and we just wanted to get some rest. We decided we would just have to make our own toilet seat covers whenever we had to go to the bathroom, since we would be spending most of our time at Disneyland anyway. This hotel seemed nice at first glance, but if you should choose to stay here, do not expect a room that is clean or sanitary.”

• Nice quality room at a great price near Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center.
• The pool area was not up to the quality of the rest of the hotel.

“The hotel room was nice. The rooms were quiet and I could not hear any noises from the next room. The staff was efficient. The pool and whirlpool area was not as nice as the rest of the hotel and a little noisy with a lot of kids. The shuttle to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center was not on schedule every 20 minutes as we were told it would be. The shuttle price of $8 for a 3-day pass was reasonable.”

• Shuttle service to Disneyland is not free. No breakfast.

• Decent value for resort area.
• WiFi was unavailable in room.

“Close but not next to Disneyland resort. Free WiFi which was not available in my room nor in other guest rooms according people I spoke with. Could connect to five other hotel networks in my room. Connection is fast and good in the public spaces. No free transportation to Disney which has not been my experience with other hotels in the area.”

• The building, in general, was nice.
• Hair in bathroom, iron didn't work, hair dryer didn't work, and mold in shower.

“There was hair in the bathroom, mold in the shower, the iron was broke and the hair dryer didn't work. Not a 3 star like the guarantee says.”

• Need better mattresses. They need to be updated.

“Good hotel for the value. Easy to get onto/off I-5, and easy to get to Disneyland and back. Lots of space in the rooms. Love that they have a fridge in there.”

• It was new and you could see that it was well taken care of.
• The air conditioner was leaking on the carpet and ice machine leaking on the floor (scary).

“It was a very nice and attractive hotel. It was hard to get to and next to the free way with a one way street in front of it. You had to go around the block to go in the westerly direction to go to Disneyland. It had easy access to the freeway and had nice restaurants nearby (by car only, hard to be a pedestrian here). It had a bus for Disney, but you had to pay for it. It was close to both Disney and the Anaheim Stadium (so, best of both worlds). If we had come from out of state, I may have been disappointed since it was somewhat out of the mainstream of the Disney area, with pay for use buses (Disney is expensive enough, to have to shell out more money to get there). Otherwise, the maintenance department needs to be watchful because there are no drains in the ice machine rooms and the condensation runs out on the floor (the tiles are already buckling). The room air conditioner condensation was leaking out on the floor into the carpeting (a future mold problem may be in the future?). For our needs for the weekend, it was great and nicely priced!”

• I found it very clean, easy access to everything, and staff was pleasant.
• Chamber maids do not do a thorough job with our rooms.

“I've stayed in many hotels, resorts, etc in my time. I found this one extremely good for what we wanted. Even better then what we expected. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Staff was great too. There's their little catch phrase on the key card that reads. I totally agree with that! We all really enjoyed the hotel and its amenities. My only complaint was the chambermaids. They basically made your bed, vacuumed the carpet, changed the towels but that was about it. Whatever you left as far as an untidy tray where the amenities are, such as soap, hair shampoo, or water that was left after the ice bucket melted, stayed just as they were. They never bothered to tidy up those things. All in all, a minor complaint. We were very happy with the rates and how well the hotel was kept up and would surely go back there again!”

• Everything from the moment I stepped foot inside went smoothly. Very organized.
• The Cabana bar outside near the pool closed a little early for my liking.

“The great, clean layout of the room was perfect and the kitchenette made things easier for me and my little boys to have a snack whenever needed. The pool was a good size and the staff there were positive and helpful. Quite the enjoyable experience!”

“The mattresses were horrible; so bad that I even flipped my own mattress to make it more comfortable. The location was convenient to area attractions; however the hotel is located on a one-way street which made the accessibility to the hotel more difficult. I wanted a king room and the only king room they had upon check-in was a king smoking. I told Ray, the desk clerk I would give the room a try and when I went to the room it smelled of smoke too badly for me, so I went back to the front desk and Ray was very accommodating about changing my room to what was available.”

• The only thing I liked about this hotel is that it's children friendly.
• Upgrade was really a downgrade.

“We really didn't enjoy our stay at the Holiday Inn. The smoking room was so horrible, we had to pay extra so we can sleep without coughing. The upgrade room is more like a 2 star layout. Very plain and crowded with the cheap children beds. Not what I had expected from a 3 star hotel.”

• Hotel restaurant was priced reasonably, but food was not great.

“Holiday Inn Resort shared parking and pool with Stay bridge Suites. Local transportation (ART), was excellent getting you to Disneyland. Complimentary coffee in hotel restaurant during breakfast only. Restaurant provided reasonable priced breakfast. However, lunch/dinner selections did not taste great.”

“The room smelled horrible of smoke and we have an asthmatic 4 year old. My wife had to ask for a manager who told us we could check out other smoking rooms to see if they smelled less. Luckily we found one that did not smell too bad, but the AC was leaking water all over the floor and the carpet was soaking wet. Luckily, it was late and we were only staying one night.”

• Our room wasn't very clean. There were hairs on the counter & in shower when we got to the room.

• The pool, landscape & lobby were impressive.
• I tried to use the stairs to go down, but when I got to the bottom I found the door locked. What if there was a fire? we would have been trapped.

“The room was smaller than I expected. I thought I was getting a suite. It was just a normal size motel room. The outside and pool area were very impressive. I enjoyed that part and the lobby was 4 start quality.”

“This was a great hotel. It is about 1.5 miles away from Disneyland. We walked it but I would not recommend doing this with small children. Parking was free. Staff was friendly.”

• Restaurant was way over priced and room was bad.

“Price was great, but the room was not so great. The room was directly above hotel air handlers. Very noise even with the window closed. Because of the noise we were unable to open the windows to air out the room. It was also obviously a smoking room (we didn't want a smoking room). Normally this wouldn't bother me to bad since I smoked for years and still smoke cigars. But this was bad! It smelled like 20 people had been in the room smoking all day for years.”

“The hotel room was good, especially for families with kids on a budget. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was not great. It is probably a bargain for larger families. The shuttle service was awesome! The best part was the convenience to Disneyland via the shuttle!”

“We had 2 rooms at this hotel. 1 room was fine, no complaints. But in our adjoining room, the fridge was leaking and left a horrible damp moldy smell and the carpet around the fridge was always wet. We called to have it repaired 2x but no one came to fix it. We all had to pile ourselves into the 1 good a room because the smell was terrible in the other one.”

• Free laundry, hot tub, hotel fridge and cupboard, free internet, free parking, swimming pool, and fun bunk beds.
• We had to upgrade for non-smoking, carpet was wet from carpet cleaning for a few days, and bedding was not cleaned regularly.

“Our family wanted just a few things and this hotel had them all plus more. My husband wanted free internet and free parking, I wanted a fridge and a Disneyland shuttle, and my kids wanted their own beds and a pool. We had a great time and I plan to return some day.”

• Parking is too expensive and had no DSL in the room.

“It was one of the best hotel I stayed during my last trip. But I don't like the idea for losing my point from Hilton Honors club. Parking the car is very expensive and they charge for the internet connection. Beside that the hotel was very nice, friendly and close to Disneyland.”

• The rooms were exceptionally clean and the location to Disney was fantastic!
• There was not anything that I did not like about this hotel. It was super!

“We were very pleased with this hotel and the price. It had everything that our family needed, 2 double beds, a rollaway and a fridge/freezer combo in the room. I was able to call ahead and request early check in, we had our room at 1:30 instead of 4 pm that was fantastic! The housekeeping was super, room smelled fresh, beds were comfortable and bedding was super snuggly! Great hotel close to Disneyland but far enough that you are not trapped with travelers. Oh the pool was super with a Cabana bar too!”
