“Walking into the room, the room looked nice.” Aug 9, 2009 by
Kathie from Visalia,CA
“The locatation was great for Disneyland but the room left no privacy for my husband and me. We were expecting a suite to have a private bedroom for the adults. No romance.” May 17, 2009 by
Anna from Las Vegas,NV
“The hotel was very nice if you are going to Disneyland. It is very family friendly. And there are a lot of things to do to keep kids entertained, like an arcade on the third floor.” Apr 23, 2009 by
Lisa from Concord,CA
“Excellent place for family and friends. Very good service.” Mar 3, 2009 by
Joyce from Wirsor Island,WA
“Location to Disneyland outstanding, friendly staff, good housekeeping, accessible laundry, pop and ice machines (on each floor) and Jan 1, 2009 by

“Great place to stay for teh price. Close to Mcdonalds and two restuarants. Close to the park also.” Oct 22, 2008 by

“I was greeted the moment I stepped into the hotel by a very nice staff, and it was at 3:30 in the morning. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was wonderful and I will be staying at this hotel again next time I go to Disneyland.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Ann from Pilot Hill, CA
“Great location. Incredible staff. Nice room.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Pat from Oxnard, CA
“A ton of better values all around this hotel. Don't be fooled by the Marriot name. Stay somewhere else for cheaper like next door at the Ramada.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Terry from Port Angeles, WA
“Great location. Easy walk to Disneyland. Nice pool. Staff was friendly. Restaurants close by. Air conditioning worked well!” Aug 27, 2008 by
Mrs. B. from Oceanside, CA
“The room was better than most I refuse to stay in a hotel. It was very plain considering it was directly across from Disneyland but I preferred it. the only thing my husband and I didn't like was the fact that we tried to call down for room service for like a half hour and down to the front desk and neither ever answered so we gave up and went down to the lobby to go find someone to point us in the direction of a restaurant and there was no one at the front desk but, they were all down the strip so it wasn't too big of a deal. Other than that they have military friendly pricing and are literally across the street from the entrance to Disneyland, California adventure, and board walk also if you get a room in the front of the hotel they have the best view of the fireworks from the top floor. And, the lobby is kid friendly which is a plus for the next time we take our twins with us. And the rooms have a sofa bed which is economical to keep small kids with you conveniently. We will definitely be back.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Mary from Lubbock, TX
“Everything was great, room was very clean. We stayed 5 days and on our return from wherever we went the room was always clean. Only 1 thing I didn't like, there was no microwave oven in the room, I had to go to 3rd floor to use the one in the pizza area, with two little ones it is no fun having to go up and down. I will recommend this motel to my friend.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Russ from Chandler, AZ
“Very nice hotel, very convenient (within walking distance) to Disneyland. Friendly staff; clean rooms. Nice view of fireworks Marriott points.” Aug 12, 2008 by
from Fort Collins, CO
“Nice rooms. Able to see fireworks from Disneyland at night from the room. Clean and affordable.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Susan from Fremont, CA
“We went to the Fairfield Inn on a friend's recommendation. We almost decided on the Howard Johnson, which is located a little further down the street, but are really glad we didn't as they are a little too far after a long day at Disney. Myself, husband and two kids (ages 8 and 10) stayed at the Fairfield Inn for four nights and the location is great, just a short walk to Disney. The best place to view the fireworks is the 9th floor. The check in/out was fine, nothing special about the front desk staff. The hotel is clean and inviting with really soft comfortable beds that are great after a long day. The lemonade and lemon water in the lobby was great, loved that after a swift walk. The maid service was great and cleaned our room every day. One thing that is not great is the parking! There are not enough spaces, which we found out after attending the Medieval Times late show arriving back around 9:30 pm. So don't move your car if you don't have too, but the Medieval Times was worth the hassle, it's awesome, the kids are still talking about that! We plan on visiting Disney again and will definitely stay here.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Vicki from Draper, UT
“Close to the park, nice, friendly staff, very anxious to help We arrived at the hotel and 9:30 AM and planned on leaving our bags in the check room until later when we could check in, instead they told us we could have a room on the main floor and could check in immediately, what a nice surprise. I will use this hotel whenever possible and would recommend it to anyone.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Carmen from San Antonio, TN
“Location is good. Stay away from rooms next to elevators, very noisy.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Drk from Fountain Hills, AZ
“Nice hotel for family going to Disney Land. No frills, but the rooms are a good size compared to the other hotels directly across the street from Disney.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Steve from Livermore, CA
“The Fairfield Inn is not luxurious, but it was exactly what we were looking for: it was clean, comfortable, affordable, and only 2 blocks from the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure, so that we could walk to the park in less than 10 minutes. If I planned to spend a lot of time at the hotel I'd probably have stayed at a more luxurious one, but it served our needs nicely on this occasion, since it was simply a place to sleep.” Jul 26, 2008 by
Julie from Kaneohe, HI
“I wouldn't stay here again. The room was just ok and it had a horrible view of I-5 although not noisy. It was close to Disneyland but further away than I like to stay. Nothing about it spoke luxury to me. Loved the closeness to Mimi's Restaurant, but Millie's Restaurant was not very good.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Paula from Portland, OR
“All the convenience of being next to Disneyland without the higher cost of the Disney hotels. Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful, wireless internet worked well, and the restaurants were easy walking distance, as well. My son and I enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Christy from Porterville, CA
“Nice, clean and friendly staff.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Stephen from Santee, CA
“This is the second time my family and I stayed at this hotel when we went to Disneyland and will do it again next year.” Jun 8, 2008 by
Wilson from Richmond, BC CA
“Just stayed at this hotel at the end of May-June. I was primarily attracted to it due to the response from other travelers regarding the location and was not disappointed. Location is phenomenal. Literally, once you're out of the building, a 7 min walk and youre at the front plaza deciding which Disney Park you want to enter. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in LA and driving: after spending 10 hours plus in the parks, you just want to be back in a bed immediately. There is also good proximity to food (Mc Donald's next door, adjacent Millie's restaurant, Pizza Hut on 3rd? Floor, IHOP, Denny and others close by). The only cons of this hotel I found is parking and age. When I first arrived on Memorial Day weekend at 11 pm Sat night, the parking lot was packed and there are definitely not enough spots for the number of rooms. So on busy days/weekends, parking can be hard to find. Also the hotel interiors are very old. The sofa, the carpets, the sheets, the alarm clock (broke on me on the last day) and pretty much everything in the room needs upgrading.” May 19, 2008 by
Christy from Sacramento, CA
“I've stayed here twice. The first time I was very impressed so I returned again. The second time it was not as quiet and the service was not as impressive, but I'd still go back. Of all the hotels in the Disneyland area, this is reasonably priced, clean, and very comfortable.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Michelle from Oak Hills, CA
“Overall, hotel was nicer than the 2-star rating it received due to it's larger size and updated room decor. Beds were spacious. Complimentary breakfast would have been a major plus!” Mar 11, 2008 by
Cathy from Tucson, AZ
“I feel that for the money they charge they should update the hotel, Update the room and bathrooms not just the lobby.” Aug 13, 2007 by
Zeus from Danville, CA
“Check-in and out was quick and easy. Maid service was very accommodating.” Jul 22, 2007 by
Chuck from Atwater, CA
“Very comfort accommodating room with a friendly staff.” Jul 16, 2007 by
Bob from Prospect, KY
“Definitely a low price hotel catering to families visiting Disneyland across the street. Unfortunate elevator mechanical problems created backlog & time waits to get to upper floors. Rooms were clean and roomy.” Jun 17, 2007 by
Louie from Tehachapi, CA
“Great hotel for a family of 4 or 5 people. Right across from Disneyland, close to freeways and lots of restaurants near by. Next time we go to Disneyland, we will try to stay at this hotel again.” May 27, 2007 by
Barbara from San Diego, CA
“Should be honest in bed/sleeper descriptions, a sofa bed is not same as a sleeper-chair. No "living area". Limited amenities. Coffee maker only makes one cup at a time, no tea provided. Anywhere but at Disneyland would consider this room overpriced. Get what you want to pay for, i.e. convenience. Need written instructions for using options on TV, also clarification on what is free and what is charged for. Also for time-limited "pay options", like Play Station, is that total time or must it be contiguous time. Need answers to questions like these before hitting the select button on the remote control.” Jan 4, 2007 by
Katy from San Jose, CA
“We have stayed at this hotel before this was our second trip. If you can not afford to stay at one of the resort hotels this is the next best thing. You are close to the cross walking that walks you right to the park. Mc Donald¿s is right next door for easy and fast food for the kids. The rooms are clean and it¿s not to noisy. This trip we took a bottom floor room and had no noise problems. I would stay here again.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Nov 20, 2006 by

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, great hotel for the price we paid. Beds & pillows were very comfortable, room was clean, and parking was easy. Excellent location if you're going to Disneyland, you can even see the fireworks from outside the hotel. The only thing I didn¿t like was the towels, they were thin and rough.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 19, 2006 by

“Everything was great except that people were smoking outside directly below our room and our room smelled of cigarette smoke. Plus, our air conditioner controls were broken.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 16, 2006 by

“The Fairfield inn suited the needs of all three generations who participated in this trip. Even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff provided us with adjoining rooms so we could better share our time together. They also were very pleasant and speedy in providing appropriate tickets for part of the party. The facility is close to the entrance of the park and all were able to walk it. We were able therefore to take a break in the day's activities, and while some rested others swam. Pleasant, friendly environment would encourage a return trip.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 3, 2006 by

“This is a nice hotel and very close to walk to Disney. Our room had no table so we moved the desk between the beds to provide a table for our in room dining. There is a coffee maker but the hotel only provides one, yes 1, cup of coffee!!! The staff was very helpful with any questions that we had.” Jul 10, 2006 by
Terri from La Puente, CA
“This hotel was clean and close to Disneyland. I especially liked its proximity to Millie's and Mimi's. The refrigerator and coffee were very convenient.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Mar 29, 2006 by

“Good location to theme parks, has a McDonalds in front so no complimentary breakfast, room has coffee maker and a fridge, but could use a microwave. Front desk didn't pay attention to the credit cards attached to the room and put charges on the wrong card, after a week still working on getting things fixed.” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.Mar 3, 2006 by

“Hotel had great interior and exterior. Service was the only downside to my stay. The outside service was warm and friendly, unlike the interior service.” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.Feb 24, 2006 by

“I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to Disneyland. It was close enough to walk there, with no waiting for a shuttle, or having to park and drive yourself. The room was very clean and spacious enough for a crib, and still have plenty of room to move around comfortably. Our room had 2 queen beds, a chair sleeper, and a refrigerator. It also had pictures of Disney characters without paying the Disney Hotel prices.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Jan 2, 2006 by

“This hotel was just what we needed for our visit to Disneyland. Since we spent all our time at Disneyland and the California Theme Park, all we really needed was a place to sleep, shower, and change clothes. Millies restaurant had great prices and good food which they did deliver to our room. McDonald was there for quick breakfasts. We were unhappy with the food at Captain Kidd's restaurant. We had two adults and three young teenagers (11,12 and 15). We all slept comfortably The staff was friendly and kept our room clean. Cafasia on the third floor is a rip off. The arcade on the third floor was good according to the kids, but they only used it for fifteen minutes. The hotel only had one baggage cart available. Although I was able to use it quickly when we arrived at the hotel, many other families were waiting to use it. I did not get to use it when we left. There are four elevators, but only two seemed to be working so when we needed an elevator we had long waits. Many times the elevators were full and we had to wait for their second trip through. Few times the wait was so long that we used the stairs. After all day at Disneyland a trip up the stairs was quite a job.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Nov 19, 2005 by

“ If you are used to nice hotels then you will be disappointed. This motel is very average. The lobby area is much nicer than the inside of the rooms. I felt like the room was a bit dirty. It was fine for the one night we needed, but probably would not want to spend much longer than that. We are used to full service hotels, so maybe we are a little more critical than the average person.” 2 of 8 people found this review helpful.Nov 1, 2005 by

“I was very impressed. There was a good amount of room for 5 people, plus a refrigerator. The only thing I would change is the access to our room, and more shampoo, since there were 5 of us. My children loved the video game hook up, but thought it was weird that there was no Disney Channel on the TV, right next to Disneyland.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Sep 1, 2005 by

“The room was clean, new sheets and towels everyday. The cleaning people were very patient with us when we hadn't left yet and they were ready to clean. We truly have no complaints. We would do it again.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Aug 30, 2005 by

“The hotel is right across the street from Disneyland, so no need to pay for parking if that is where you are going. Lots of restraurants nearby. Room was clean. Pool was nice.” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.Aug 30, 2005 by

“Overall the room was alright. I felt that the bedspreads were somewhat dirty. There was only one small bottle of shampoo and no other toiletries. Would have like some lotion. The coffee pot lid was broken.” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.Aug 29, 2005 by
