“Our room was clean but seemed older.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Kathy from Newbury Park,CA
“A very nice Marriott. The staff was friendly and helpful at check in and answered all our questions. Would have liked free shuttle to Disneyland. Its less than a mile, but costs $4. Seems excessive. We were given a discount on parking, but I'm not sure why.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 3, 2009 by

“The two double beds did not accommodate four adults, so one of us slept on the floor. The pool area was nice, but not usable as the water was freezing, and the spa was boiling - everyone who came down to check it out were joking about how the maintenance crew for the pool/spa should be fired immediately. I have never stayed at a hotel that forced me to pay $20 just to park, this was very upsetting. We were told that we needed to wait another 1-2 hours for a view room before we could check-in, 3-hours later we were given a room on the 14th Floor with a view on another hotel.” Sep 18, 2009 by
Vanessa from Lakeside,CA
“The entire hotel was very clean and relaxing.” Sep 11, 2009 by
Lisandra from San Jose,CA
“I have stayed here before and will stay again. Great hotel, great price, super comfortable, excellent location for those wanting to visit Disney. Room service is great for both adults and children.” Sep 8, 2009 by
Kasie from Lake Oswego,OR “Wonderful - lovely room, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Wish we had more time to enjoy the room and pool.” Sep 6, 2009 by
Terry from San Bernardino,CA
“I was nice and clean. I forgot to bring my wireless card and the hotel wanted 12.99 to use the internet. That is crazy. When are we going to just make it free because it has been paid for 100X over?” Aug 29, 2009 by
Bobbie from Folsom,CA
“Near Disney and restaurants, clean, tropical, comfortable and clean. Fridge was a nice extra. Finding out $20 parking fee after booking was a disappointment.” Aug 22, 2009 by
Al Akberdin from Alameda,CA
“Friendly staff, clean rooms and very comfortable beds.” Aug 21, 2009 by
Kristy from Beaumont,CA
“The hotel it nice. It is next to the Convention Center. The staff was friendly. The only problem we had was with housekeeping. We called down to the front to ask for allergy free bedding. My daughter and husband are both allergic to down products. I couldn't do it ahead of time on the internet since priceline does not do that. Anyway, the maid came up and removed only the bedding from one bed (while we were out of the room). I called down again they sent the maid up and she brought down pillows and blankets (everything I needed removed). I try to explain to her but since she did not speak English and I did not speak Spanish it was hard to communicate. She left and my husband went down to see if we could get someone to translate. After three times, we finally received the correct bedding. The only other thing that was no good was the cost of parking. It is $25 to self park and $27 to valet. That is the most money I have ever paid to park in the area. I thought $18 was high at the Hyatt.” Aug 21, 2009 by
clarissa from Brawley,CA
“overall, we loved staying here. the accomodations were top rated, and the staff was truly kind, helpful, and very willing to assist us in whatever situation we presented, starting with Ralph the bellman. he is an older gentleman, with the manners of days gone by. truly refreshing, he deserves a raise!!” Aug 20, 2009 by
Kathleen from Roseville,CA
“When you get there, you're told that a bell hop must help you with your luggage. All the bell hops are VERY nice and helpful. The check-in staff was really friendly and helpful. Parking fee of $12 for self-park and $19 for valet. If you want a shuttle to Disneyland, you have to pay additional for that too. We were in room 298. Just a view of a small parking area, but it was at the end of the hall - no neighbor on the right or across the hall. It was very quiet. The room and beds (two doubles) were very nice. I love the Bath & Body works toiletries they provide - nice quality and smells yummy! Shower was awesome - the head is up nice and high and the pressure is great and was hot right away and for as long as I needed it. The mini fridge was the biggest fridge I've seen in a hotel and it worked well.” Aug 15, 2009 by
Jill from Fresno,CA
“Rooms were a little on the small side. Had double beds instead of queen. Room had a fridge which was nice. Hotel has a Starbucks and Pizza Hut in the lobby. Parking is far and expensive. Also, had to pay extra for shuttle to Disney. Overall, a nice place to stay for a short period of time.” Aug 14, 2009 by
Eanne from Santa Barbara,CA
“It was a nice place close to Disney .yes they do have a shuttle to Disney but they charge for it.” Aug 14, 2009 by
Guidotta from Salinas,CA
“Great if you are going to disneyland, the restaurant offers great food and a cool launge. Family friendly staff very helpfull and professional.Just make sure you get a real bed in your room.” Aug 13, 2009 by
Joe from Redmond,WA “Hotel was nice but they didn't have 2queens. Eventually they gave me king with roll away and crib. Satisfied with my kids.” Aug 11, 2009 by
from Simi Valley,CA
“The hotel was nice. If it was just my wife and I, it would have been perfect or if our kids were older. There wasn't much for young kids to do. The pool area is very small. If you plan on laying out go early! The one thing that was awesome was the breakfast buffet. It was great.” Aug 3, 2009 by
Suzanne from Corona,CA
“This was a business trip for me, out of my own pocket. Needless to say, it was a total treat to me on such a great price and property. Luxurious.” Jul 26, 2009 by
Cindy from Roseville,CA “Excellent all around.” Jul 22, 2009 by
Jamie from Canoga Park,CA
“Hotel was beautiful and close to Disneyland. You could walk to the convention center, but I wouldn't walk to Disney. The beds were very comfortable and rooms have a balcony. Parking was 12 instead of 20 when booking with Priceline, a total +. You could here people in the hallways but not in the other rooms. Staff was very friendly.” Jul 21, 2009 by
Leticia from Scottsdale,AZ
“Delays in requests for extra towels, leftover food in bushes at pool, crowded pool area, no integrity; was told I'd get a call back if the items I'd left in my room after checkout were found. Jul 11, 2009 by
Steve from Las Vegas,NV
“Outwardly clean but not so much if you look closely. Conflicting policies with deposits vs room charges.” May 14, 2009 by
Laurie from Phoenix,AZ
“The hotel was very attractive, clean and comfortable. Guest service was outstanding and room service was quick.” Apr 19, 2009 by
Robert from Henderson,NV
“Clean, room and maintenance began working in hallway early in the morning, very loud, not any consideration that people might still be sleeping. Housekeeping came to room very early.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Adrian from El Paso,TX
“It has a Starbucks and a Pizza Hot which are very convenient when eating really close to your room.” Apr 15, 2009 by
Ranjeeta from Princeton,NJ
“Bright decor. Concierge was quite helpful with planning the LA trip. Swimming pool was a deciding factor for us. The water was too cold though. The food options within the hotel eg Pizza Hut, Starbucks etc are good and reasonable.” Apr 10, 2009 by
Milanda from Lathrop,CA
“Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff! Very clean & upgraded throughout the hotel. Would stay again! (This is a compliment coming from a perfectionist & 1st class traveler).” Apr 7, 2009 by
Cary from Rockwall,TX
“This was a great hotel.” Apr 6, 2009 by
Cathy from Sultan,WA
“I really thought the staff was great. They were friendly and happy to assist with my requests. The pool was perfect for children. The location was excellent. We went to Disney and it was with in walking distance with a shuttle option. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable. I was nervous when we arrived and there was a cheer leading convention. It thought it was going to be loud but was not at all. This was the best vacation ever and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.” Apr 5, 2009 by
kirk from Riverside,CA
“Everything was great, but the parking is high.” Jan 27, 2009 by
Horacio from Ciudad De Mexico,AZ
“A great hotel, with a staff dedicated to making your stay amicable, very nice and comfortable rooms, and two blocks away from Disney.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Ryan from Mission Viejo, CA
“Had a good 4th of July.” Jun 4, 2008 by
Shawna from Ventura, CA
“Other than the parking rates it was great!” Jan 28, 2008 by
Kasey from Bloomington, MN
“Other than the live rock band and people that were walking around dressed like a member of the band kiss on our 1st night- everything was great- my daughter and I just ordered room service the 1st night-.” Dec 26, 2007 by
Debbie from Folsom, CA
“For the price I would highly recommend the stay to anyone.” Dec 22, 2007 by
Diana M. from Chandler, AZ
“Hotel was excellent. I have a big problem with paying $20 per vehicle on top of the room charge.” Dec 20, 2007 by
Kemberly from Pago Pago, HI
“I was visiting Anaheim, as many people do, because of Disneyland. I spent the majority of my time at the park, and therefore used very few of the hotel's facilities; they simply weren't necessary for my purposes. I can't speak for the quality of the dining, as I never ate at the hotel; I was always out early, before breakfast, and back late enough to be well past dinner. The staff I dealt with was consistently courteous and professional. My room was always clean. The water pressure in the shower was good, the hot water was always hot, and the bed was comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet, as I happened to know there were several large family groups staying a few doors down and/or across from my room. If I hadn't seen them going in with their bags, I would never have known they were there. There was no outside noise at all. All in all, it was exactly what I required for my stay, and I would gladly stay there again when making a return visit to the park.” Dec 4, 2007 by
Kayce from Visalia, CA
“This hotel was amazing, the pool and spa area were fabulous. The food at the cafe was terrific. Only complaint was parking fees were outrageous.” Dec 3, 2007 by
Nichole from Lancaster, CA
“We stayed here last year at around the same time. They were in the middle of a remodel It turned out great!” Nov 28, 2007 by
Teresa from Phoenix, AZ
“This hotel was the best for the money, far exceeded my expectations. Hotel bed was very comfortable which is very important to me being that all you do when on vacation is use the room to sleep and rest in the rest of the day is spent outside of the hotel.” Nov 28, 2007 by
Heidi from Mcminnville, OR
“The hotel was very nice. The beds were very comfy and the hotel was very clean. The only problem was parking. I have never heard of paying for a parking spot when you are renting a room. I had to pay $20.00 a day plus $11.00 a day at Disneyland or $12.00 for the hotel tram to Disneyland. Crazy! To top it all off we had to go down the elevator walk through the conference areas and get on another elevator to get to the parking garage (all while packing 3 children along). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling with your own vehicle and children.” Nov 26, 2007 by
Louise V. from Chula Vista, CA
“I love the Marriott and this is no exception. Your customer service is always top notch and your employee's tend to go the extra mile.” Nov 13, 2007 by
Donna from La Crescenta, CA
“Overall this is a great hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very accommodating. I did not like the $20.00 per night fee to park my car. Getting a cheap room is sort of a joke when you put that fee on top of the cost of your nightly stay. Still this was a very nice hotel.” Nov 6, 2007 by
Jan from Julian, CA
“This is a nice hotel close to Disneyland and the convention center. There is a pizza hut and a star bucks in the hotel, as well as an upscale restaurant and a couple of cafes. They have a family breakfast special that's great if you have kids. You can also get room service.” Nov 5, 2007 by
Arlene from Sacramento, CA
“The Marriott Anaheim was a nice hotel to stay at for our vacation. The rooms were of adequate size for a family with small children. The staff was outstanding and very service oriented. The only problem with the hotel was that the $20/day parking structure was on the opposite side of the rooms. After a long day at Disneyland, It made for a long walk back to our room. However, If a shuttle was used, then It is not a problem.” Oct 22, 2007 by
Chris from Bellevue, WA
“Overall, the hotel was nice; we didn't like the price for parking, other hotels in the price range seemed to offer free parking, so this jut seemed like gouging the customer. The hotel definitely felt like a 3 star hotel.” Oct 7, 2007 by
Ben from Las Vegas, NV
“The Marriott Anaheim hotel was chosen for its proximity to Disneyland, but it's designed for its proximity to the convention center. I found $20 for self parking, for hotel guests mind you, to be revolting. There is also no free shuttle to Disneyland. The parking garage is all the way down the elevator, all the way through the meeting rooms, all the way past the restaurants, all the way through the lobby, before you get to your room. Real fun with kids and Disneyland luggage. Clearly, they want to force you to use their $27 valet. The room was better than a motel. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was beyond excellent. If I were a business traveler, it would have been wonderful.” Oct 4, 2007 by
Candy from Del Mar, CA
“Great location for Disney, especially for viewing the evening fireworks. Big Starbucks on location. Parking is extra. So is internet.” Sep 30, 2007 by
Jb from Hurricane, UT
“The location was good and the lobby and meeting rooms are fancy. Once you get on the elevator and start up you can see a change in the class of the hotel and then when you make it to your room the bed is a joke. I have had better beds and pillows in a 2 star hotel. The parking fee is ridiculous 20.00 a day for a parking space that is quite a walk to the lobby. Marriot needs to look over that. I will never stay there again until the parking and bed issue is taken care of.” Sep 26, 2007 by
Nancy from Upland, CA
“The Anaheim Marriott continues to be the hotel of choice when I am in Anaheim. I appreciate the attention to detail, the friendly, helpful staff, and the quality of the room. This hotel is a great place to stay!”
