• Staff was very welcoming and friendly.
• Beds were uncomfortable, bathroom was not clean. It was not aesthetically pleasing.

“Upon arrival, hotel staff was very polite and welcoming. Hallways displayed local artists in the community which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel room was old and unkept. Bathtub had hair in it and the blankets and bed were very uncomfortable. The food selection was catered to Asian food so there was no other option for those who do not like ethnic cuisine. Bottom line is, the hotel staff is an absolute pleasure but the hotel needs a renovation.”

• Its was nice area and easy to get to other places and people were really nice.
• The hotel had a lot of ants in the bathroom and in the room.

• The rooms were clean.
• Everything is in Korean Language including karaoke. I am not Korean and felt like an outsider.

“I ordered breakfast via phone and the employee couldn't understand my questions. His English is very limited and could not tell me the ingredients of an item in the menu. There is no continental breakfast. But overall it was okay, the rooms were clean.”

• Location was convenient for my business purposes & price was ok.
• Old, dirty, non-English speaking, computer printer not hooked up.

“If you're just going to sleep, this place will suffice, but if you expect a certain level of clean and all the accommodations, this hotel will disappoint. The in hotel restaurant would not accept credit cards unless bill was over $20. Very disappointed!”

• It was fairly clean and looked good in appearance. The shuttle driver was awesome!
• No continental breakfast. Pool not heated, hot tub was colder than the pool. Bad location for traveler's/tourists needs.

“The carpets didn't appear to have been vacuumed. Their convenient location claims are not true. The kids and I did not feel safe walking to a store after dark, nor could we read the signs of most the stores as they were in a different language. The hot tub was not heated AT all, nor was the pool. Their literature says free breakfast, there was none? The coffee pot had an old floating coffee bag in old icky water in the coffee pot. And the carpets did not seem to have been vacuumed. I am skeptical of using Ramada in the future because of my experience.”

• Ice machine was on every floor, hot tub was great, overall the room was clean and comfortable.
• Small pool, only had Chinese food.

“This hotel was fine for my trip. I would return, however I had a terrible time at Disney land and never plan to return there. The hotel was fine.”

• They had ashtrays throughout the hotel. It is illegal to smoke in public buildings.

• Hotel seemed to be aimed at a specific ethnic group.

“This hotel is about a ten minute drive from Disneyland. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were pretty average, but clean. It is located in a Korean section of town. The hotel restaurant and decor match its location. We would definitely consider staying there again.”

• Parking was not bad at all, handicap.
• We expected friendlier staff and better accommodations.

“This hotel could use friendlier staff that speaks English.. As a leisure trip for my family I would not stay at that hotel again. Not one staff member was friendly or very helpful. If you have a disabled person in the family I recommend a different hotel that is closer to Disneyland. Over all we were not pleased. One staff member even closed the elevator door on my husband who was with our disabled son in his mobility device waiting for the elevator, the staff member jumped in and made the door close without waiting for them to enter. That was very rude! For the price we paid for the 2 nights that we were at the hotel we would have been happier staying at a cheap hotel, that way if we got service we would not be surprised. Plus on there website it states that they have a continental breakfast they did not, staff said they do not do that anymore. Well then take it off the list. Bed was not too bad, shower head needed to be replaced, and the TV. Crappy channels and reception.”

“Terrible location. More than 8 miles to Disneyland park. Did not park where other shuttles park. Poor service. Need reservation for shuttle. Last shuttle picked up 90 minutes before park closed. Not very accommodating to guests and their needs.”

• Not a great area to just walk around.

“Nice, clean hotel. We used it as an overnight between Disneyland trips. A little further from Disney than I would have like, but only about a 10 minute drive. In the heart of Viet Names community so many restaurant options along those lines (including in the hotel) which was fine for us, perhaps not so great for families with small children? Overall, a good option if you just need a decent place to stay.”

• No available hotel parking on Saturday night. Had to park off site.

“Too distant from Orange/Anaheim and the focus of our weekend. The rooms were clean and the shower good. Hotel parking was not available on Saturday night due to the loud parties ongoing in the hotel. We had to park in a shopping mall lot. I prefer hotel staff to speak my English language while I am doing business at the desk.”

• It's kind of far from Disneyland.

“The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. I saw one of the housekeeping attendants cleaning the room next to ours and she was down on her hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor. You could tell they really cleaned their rooms not just vacuum and fix the beds. Great hotel.”

• Location, poor bed quality, bad view, smoking room, sad breakfast.

“I suppose the location of Garden Grove should have been my first tip off. The karaoke bar gets rather lively at night. I take responsibility for not requesting a non-smoking room, but the king sized bed seemed to be about 20 years old. The view of the roof was less than pleasing and the continental breakfast literally consisted of doughnuts, toast and cereal. The drive to Disneyland wasn't too bad, but it is probably worth the extra money to stay in a location where you can walk to somewhere.”

• It is not in a great neighborhood.

“The hotel has been recently refurbished, so it has a nice elegant lobby. The rooms however, are showing some signs of age and need upgrading as well. It is 5-10 minutes away from Disneyland and the other major attractions in the area. If you are looking for a convenient location and base of operation for day trips, this is a good hotel. If you are looking for ambiance, this is not the hotel for you. There is a Vietnamese restaurant on the premises, but they don't speak English, so it makes it hard to communicate. When we were finally able to get it across what we wanted, the food was good.”

• Endless hot water with better than average shower head!
• Under construction, faulty door key card, too far from Disneyland to be convenient.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was okay, decor needs updating. Towels were awful, small and thin, but the shower was hot and plenty powerful. Fairly quiet and all public areas were well kept. Plenty of on-site free parking. Hotel was classified as "Anaheim area" but is really not that close to Disneyland.”

“I called hotel twice prior to arrival requesting non-smoking room. When I got there, I got smoking room. I found 8 dead bugs in bathroom tub, flushed them away, next morning found more. Toilet clogged without any paper down the toilet. Room was next to parking lot where there is always an ambulance parked right outside and it was noisy.”

• Repairs were needed in the room.

“I called ahead to confirm three adults would be using the room. We still got a room with one king size bed. The room was in need of repair, loosed tiles on bathroom floor, toilet paper holder coming off the wall, and the bed was to firm. Staff was not friendly.”

• Not near Disneyland, shuttle had to be scheduled in advance, not clean, not a 3 star at all.

“Disneyland area should BE within a 1-2 mile radius, not 6 miles away. Very inconvenient to Disneyland. Shuttles had to be scheduled in advance, not simply available when needed. Nowhere near a 3 star, just a basic 2. Very disapointed. This has never happened before The rating was always accurate, but not in this case. I would not stay in this hotel again. Rooms were small and the bathroom was dirty.”

“The room was really clean,but the staff needs a lot of help. You could barely understand them on the phone and they where very rude. We asked for a shuttle to disneyland. And when we got there 5 min till. The shuttle had left already. The staff did not offer an apology they blamed us for the problem.”

• There was ample free parking.
• The pillows were too flat and the mattresses too hard.

“Based on the quality of hotels I've booked previously I was not at all happy with this one. When we arrived there were police cars in the parking lot which was partitioned off with "crime scene" tape. We were joined in the elevator by forensic investigators. This did not leave me with a good first impression of the hotel nor did I feel safe.The mattresses were hard, the pillows were flat (and there weren't enough of them!), the towels were stained and the toilet seat wasn't clean. The celing and tub had rust stains. We were to be provided a continental breakfast. We arrived at about 8:25am. There wasn't much to chose from (there were 3 muffins in the basket and several loaves of white bread for toast.) Perhaps the timing was bad. ”

• had limited contact with staff but they were polite & helpful
• Did not like the area the hotel was in

“The room was adequate. The hotel was older and going through some renovation so some areas were messy but overall it was sufficient for our needs. I was a little uncomfortable in the area but it was easy to get to and from Disneyland which was our objective.”

“This place was awful! The room was from the 1970's or something. The TV didn't work properly, the channels looked like antenna reception, not cable quality reception. There was plastic on all the floors because they were apparantly renovating, but I sure didn't see any improvements anywhere. It was not a good experience at all.”

“The location looks like not the best area of town and the exterior of the hotel looked a little seedy, but the lobby was beautiful, the breakfast was nice and the amenities in the room was a pleasant surprise i.e. coffee, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and a small fridge.The beds were hard and they balked about sending up three extra pillows, but did relent and send them after my husband said they were for my sore back. The kids enjoyed the pool. I'd stay there again. Can't beat the price!”

“The continental breakfast was nice. The hotel was being remodeled so there were things that weren't just right. The staff was friendly and we had a nice stay. Enjoyed the use of the washer and dryer.”

“Awful!!! We stayed in our room for not more than FIVE minutes. Hotel was at least 10 miles from Disneyland not 5, very uncomfortable in area -- could have been the three police cars on corner. Pool was covered -- not accessible, beds were very small and room was not up to my Ramada standards (it might have been 20+ years ago). Stayed in another hotel for my stay.”
