• Proximity to beach, secluded spa, fast
  and friendly valet and an
  ocean view.
• It would have been nice to have self parking.

“I've stayed in many hotels and in many countries, and this hotel easily rates as the best I've ever stayed. The hotel has ample security (hotel security actually verified I was a guest while I was in the spa). Proximity to beach was excellent. The only thing I would change is to add a self parking parking lot. $24/night to park was a bit steep.”

• Conveniently located next to the beach.
• The lack of responsiveness to my issue that happened at 2:45 am.

“The hotel was great. I had an issue with my next door neighbors. They were being very disruptive. I called the hotel manager. It took them 2 hours and 2 calls to get them evicted. This incident happened at 2:45 am”

• Ocean view and access to downtown was awesome.
• Parking @$24 a night was outrageous so we parked off-site; Refrigerator was on a sensor and wouldn't allow you to keep your own food in it.

• The location of the hotel was very convenient to beach access.
• Besides room service, only one place to eat on the property (too far to walk to other restaurants). The daily valet fee was expensive!

“For a last minute stay at this hotel, we were very pleased with all it had to offer. The staff allowed us to check-in early and gave us a room with an excellent view. All the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to assure our comfort. We had a fun time at the Shades Restaurant sitting around the fire pit and enjoying our drinks. The rooms and property was very clean and well kept. We especially liked how close the beach was located and took advantage of the bike rentals. Overall, a very nice place to stay!”

• Beautiful views and a heated outdoor pool.
• Resturaunt serves a partial menue when not breakfast lunch or dinner times.

“It was a great pleasure to have such attentive service and my family did not feel like it was unwelcome in any way. A beautiful view of the ocean and HB Pier. Walk across the street to the beach and rental shack. The hotel even provides firewood and smoores fixins in a waggon for you to take to the beacha and have a bonfire.”

• Beautiful beach location; very friendly staff.
• Our bathtub faucet leaked.

“Great location with a very nice public beach across the street. Facility was beautiful. Our room was quite comfortable with partial ocean view without even asking for it. Beware of some of the extra charges, like even if you accidentally touch anything in the wet bar you get charged for it, and parking is $24/day.”

• Nice, clean, friendly staff.
• They didn't display the valet price correctly. Says $12 a day, actually its $24 cause they charge extra for overnight.

“Although my stay was nice, I feel that for the price of the room and the valet, it was not worth the price. It was a comfortable stay but I don't believe I will stay there the next time I visit Huntington beach.”

• Pool area was closed off and we did not know this in advance.

“Solid beachfront chain hotel; nice rooms; pool area was closed for repair; views were good, bit our room was blocked by trees.”

• The view!
• The pool and Jacuzzi were closed.

“Our hotel experience was great. The employees were helpful and fast. We had a problem with our AC and it was taken care of quickly. Overall a great experience.”

• Great location to the heart of Huntington Beach.
• The pool area was closed.

“When visiting the heart of Huntington Beach, the Hilton Beach Resort is the place to stay. Close to the pier, across the street from the beach, and an excellent array of eateries, makes this a great place to stay. The resort is well-kept and the staff is friendly and helpful.”

• Proximity to ocean.
• Nickel/dimmed us on everything. Hotel is costly enough. Do not have any option for parking other than a $22 +tax/day is ridiculous.

“As above, staff extremely friendly/courteous as ALL hospitality staff should be. Great hotel, but in this price range, valet parking should be a choice. Not a mandate. Could not use hot tub several times because there were children/too many people using it. Even though I paid full price for my room X 5 nights.”

• LOCATION.
• $22 valet parking, $10 Internet, very noisy/rowdy guests.

“While they tout a recent remodel, it's really not much of a remodel. Just some new furniture in the rooms. Beds uncomfortable, dirty, old carpets in the halls, loud, rowdy guests that required several calls to the front desk. $22 valet parking, bad fitness center that is virtually unusable, they closed the pool all afternoon for a corporate function and told guests to leave the area. A good location but a tired looking hotel. I would recommend the Hyatt next door. It's much nicer and newer.”

• Classy Hotel, Romantic, Peaceful, yet close to Nightlife and Shopping.
• I wish the balcony were bigger. I love to enjoy the view.

“What a Fabulous place to stay for one night or a week. The location is well thought out and central to so many Southern California attractions. Outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean from every room. Beautiful decor throughout the entire hotel. There is even a huge waterfall with marble staircase flowing down both sides in the lobby. I was lucky enough to have my wedding and reception in their beautiful Pacific room overlooking the ocean at sunset. It is a wonderful place, I think you will agree.”
