• The rooms were clean and sheets were very fresh. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous!
• Room was a little smaller than expected but did the job. Was able to sleep four adults.

“The pool was open 24 hours for those who wanted to use it. The rooms were very clean and the beds were the best. No back pain! In the morning the complimentary breakfast was on time and delicious.”

• The space is excellent for families.
• There is no security after hours and our neighbors had a party between midnight and 5 am.

“The hotel was clean and spacious the only thing that it lacked was security after hours which made it very upsetting when you cannot sleep when your neighbor is have a drinking party after midnight.”

• Carrying bags upstairs to room. Broken toilet: had to change rooms.

“Have stayed at chain before. Have hit another in chain that I did not enjoy due to parking and lack of maintenance. This was at the opposite end, nice, quiet, well-kept. Even though first was given room with broken toilet, immediately given a replacement room. Staff was very helpful and cheerful.”

• The breakfast, the 24hr pool, near mall and restaurants.
• It was a bit far from the main LA tourist attractions.

“This hotel was conveniently located near many well-known restaurant chains and just a few miles away from a big shopping mall. The breakfast they provided was excellent and went above and beyond continental. The rooms were exactly as expected - clean and met all of our needs (incl. a little kitchen, wired and wireless internet, a pullout sofa bed). We had a great time in the pool and hot tub at midnight. The front desk was always courteous and helpful. The drive to and from LA's main attractions was on the long side, but it was nice to have an affordable and comfortable home to come back to after a busy day.”

• No elevator for second, third floor. Did not need handicap room but did not want to lug luggage up steps.

• I liked the full kitchen amenities. The room exceeded my expectations.
• It was a bit difficult to locate the entrance to the hotel. No elevator access.

• It was super clean and the staff was friendly. There was a lot for my teenager to do.
• Air conditioners let off hot air outside and were noisy as we walked through the walkways.

“This hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. It is situated in a convenient location with many restaurants within walking distance to choose from. It offers a workout room, basketball court, and a swimming pool that is open 24 hours! My teenager had plenty to do. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• The rooms could use updating - gross looking stain on couch.

“Overall, this hotel was very pleasant. It was not a resort by any stretch, but there was a fridge, kitchen sink, freezer, and microwave in the rooms, along with a pullout bed/sofa. We had trouble with the keys working in the doors, but the staff fixed that problem after a few tries. The breakfast was top notch - many choices, including pancakes, Belgium waffles, plus the normal fruit and cereal options.”

• No complaints.

“Residence Inn Arcadia is an unpretentious, clean and comfortable hotel suitable for all manner of traveler. Staff is very responsive and friendly. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Ours had a full kitchen. All rooms with individual outside access. Bed and linens are good quality. Complimentary breakfast is adequate. Complimentary newspapers (la times including Sunday times, USA today and local newspaper). Hotel is set back a few hundred feet from busy Huntington Street. In downtown section of arcadia. Hotel has rarely-seen feature of a basketball court. Grounds lush with flowers and exotic plants & trees. Pool/Jacuzzi not used by us but appeared well maintained. Parking lot well lit and maintained. Starbucks located across the street, olive garden and red lobster nearby plus several other well attended restaurants. Hotel is next door to nice looking strip mall. Convenient access to highway. This hotel is recommended.”

• Everything! Bed, breakfast, location, staff and size.
• The room advertises as having free internet service but it took considerable effort and time to realize that the necessary cable was not in the room.

“This facility had the best bed and full service breakfast that we have ever experienced. It had everything we wanted - could park close to the room, the staff was helpful and the room was like having our own apartment. Would definitely continue to recommend this inn. Free internet service too (once they brought us the required cable).”

“I am very familiar with Residence Inns and this location exceeded my expectations. Our room looked like it was brand new and I have never seen a cleaner place. I was very impressed. The only disappointment was that I had an early flight out of LAX the next morning so we could not spend more time relaxing. A second negative was that the high speed internet was not free. I would certainly stay here again and recommend this hotel.”

• very clean from Lobby to Room; Staff was great; the staff that prepared the continental breakfast were great and helpful.
• Parking could have been better; we got back late every night and had very limited parking spaces; parking and access to rooms not very secure.

“Facility appeared to be fairly well maintained and had various activities. It was at a dead end of a side street so was not real obvious or easy to find; the positive side of that was there was little to no noise or exterior activity which made it a more relaxing "retreat". Enjoyed their hot breakfast served in their lobby.”
