• I loved having a hot breakfast, it made the trip more economical. The hotel staff was very friendly!
• There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

“This hotel was awesome. I loved having a mini fridge and microwave in our room. Also, the hotel location is not far from Old Town Pasadena and other attractions. The hotel does not have a restaurant onsite but not to worry there are several other hotels within walking distance at which you can dine. Overall, a great hotel for the price and I would stay again in a Heartbeat.”

• Common area comfortable.
• Air conditioning leaked all over carpet - car not secure.

“I worked for Marriott, therefore I was disappointed. They told us we could move rooms but still no guarantee the air would not leak all over the carpet. They also offered towels to put on floor! At one point the desk person left desk and left a housekeeper in charge who could not speak English. We caught two young people looking in cars and felt very uncomfortable during the night - asked them to call the police. They said they would - not sure if they did?”

• Very convenient and comfortable the breakfast was super. Clean and very restful and extra large rooms.
• Felt that the pool could have been cleaned a bit better and kept up more (on the chemical cleaning of it) The grounds however were very nice.

“Excellent in everyway. We will definitely stay here always as we visitor family recently moved to Pasadena. This is a very quiet clean wonderful environment. We loved every minute of our stay. The hallways even seem clean and fresh. The breakfast was super. Plenty to choose from. The complimentary fruit in the lobby was a very welcome treat. The size of room was just perfect for a family. This is a find!”

• The complimentary breakfast is the main attractions to this hotel.
• Our TV did not work, & we had to rush and switched rooms in 5 minutes. That was a hassle.

• Good hot breakfast buffet.
• Powdered eggs for breakfast should be avoided. Worse than airline food.

“Very ideal place for travel along picturesque Route 66. Has complimentary hot breakfast buffet which has a waffle maker to make your own fresh Belgian style waffle (they make the batter, you operate the waffle-maker). Nice large rooms with frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Has hot chocolate, tea, and coffee in lobby also.”

• I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the door to the room, so clean and nice.
• The person at the desk was not very friendly, but she was not snotty either.

“I would recommend it to anyone. It really was excellent. The food was good too in the morning.”

• Location was very convenient for side trips.
• Powdered eggs for breakfast buffet were yuck!

“Our room was quiet and clean, with both tub and shower. Beds were comfortable; pillows were "down" alternative. We heard very little outside noise, or noise from other rooms. Breakfast buffet was mainly good, with the exception of re constituted powdered eggs. Seating area for breakfast is too small. Breakfast plates and utensils were not "green" Styrofoam everything. Only one lobby computer available if you did not have a laptop for use in room. Overall, our family enjoyed the stay and would stay again.”

• This hotel was a non-smoking hotel.

• It was very clean, comfortable and safe feeling.
• I can't think of anything I didn't like about the hotel.

“The desk clerk was very courteous, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and we felt very safe. The location was perfect, close to the highway and the places we needed to be.”

• Easy to find; close to interstate.
• Under-the-counter refrigerator had no controls and was also not leveled.

“The hotel was very presentable and clean from the outside as well as the inside. Towels were not as thick as found in some other hotels of similar rating. The in-room, under-the-counter refrigerator needed to be leveled as it listed notably every time the door was opened. It also lacked a cool control and did not cool exceptionally well. On the other hand, their breakfast was remarkably better than a typical continental breakfast. In spite of the shortfalls, I would not hesitate to stay there again.”

• Helpful and efficient staff available at all times.
• Smokers violating non-smoking policy of hotel in their rooms.

“Straightforward business-friendly hotel for short or extended stays. Very clean and well-maintained. Groups on weekends make it noisier and less business-friendly on weekends but weekday service is great. Internet worked ok in room and breakfast is more than adequate. Great location near but not too close to freeway.”

• Nice pool, small, but nice and clean. Free continental breakfast buffet. Nice shower, good water pressure. Very clean beds.
• No restaurant in the building. No fan in bathroom. Air conditioner leaked on carpet beneath it - soggy carpet.

“Carpeting and walls looked fresh and modern. I enjoyed the suite aspect, small couch and chair, coffee table, refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker. The room had a very neat look. The TV was opposite the beds, hard to see from the couch and chair, but we really didn't have time to watch much TV on this trip, just the news one evening. They could have spelled out the continental breakfast buffet more. We missed it the first morning, thinking it was just a dough nuts and coffee thing. We decided to catch it the second morning and was amazed at how much of a variety there was to choose from. It really was more than what I've known as a continental experience. It was more a full breakfast buffet, eggs, sausage, French toast, bagels, English muffins, make-your-own waffles, oatmeal with many toppings, flavored coffee, many kinds of teas, juice, on and on.”
