• Smell of chlorine in the room, poor laptop accommodations.

“There was a strong smell of Chlorine in the room, and thought there was a desk, laptop accommodations such as an ergonomic desk top, or even accessible outlets was lacking. I wouldn't want to spend more than one night here.”

“The hotel was great for the price. It was clean and in a safe area. The best part of the hotel was the beds, the king size bed is bigger than the usual king size bed, and they are very soft. The only problem was that the ice and vending machines where broken for two days. It probably should not take that long to fix, but its okay there was a liquor store across the street.”

• Nice room, quiet, courteous service, great location.
• Breakfast bar could have been better, coffee way too old or strong.

“It is one block to the freeway, a very nice room that was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice, parking was convenient with lots of light, the breakfast adequate. Nice experience.”

• Clean room with new furniture.
• Didn't care for the so-called breakfast.

“Even though located on a busy street, being on a street side room, I experienced very little noise. Easy freeway access and grocery shopping, Target, etc. Breakfast consisted of sugary pastries and cold cereal. There might have been some hard boiled eggs in a basket but decided to pass altogether.”

• I liked the pillow top beds.
• The staff put us in a smoking room without asking.

“The hotel room was nice. The staff did not ask if we wanted smoking or non-smoking and put us in a smoking room. We are non-smokers and did not appreciate the smell. The pool is small and not well kept. There is only one elevator toward the back of the hotel.”

• The hotel clerk was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was nice.
• The shower did not work and the bath tub stopper did not work.

“It was nice and clean, great beds and bedding. The staff was great. It was decorated nicely. The only problem, and it was a big one, was the shower and bath not working.”

• Excellent location, close to many attractions. Accommodating staff. Good price.
• They need to expand their parking space. We had to park on a non-parking area if we arrived late at night.

“Excellent location, close to old town Pasadena and many attractions, also a block away from 210 freeway. Good price. Accommodating staff. Needed shower curtain changed, they changed it right away. Only complain is that they don't have much parking space.”

• The new marble counters were beautiful.
• No instructions on the ice machine & it wasn't evident.

“This hotel was clean and very comfortable. I believe the rooms had been recently remodeled and were beautiful. It was especially nice to have a fridge and separate sink. Smokers seem to cause much more damage and bad smells to a room than non-smokers so this is very curious policy.”

• How close to a busy street it was.

• Good location, clean and nice, and enjoyable experience.
• The TV. broke on our last evening stay (Saturday) and the hotel was not able to fix it. (They said it needed to wait until Monday).

• Grounds were nice, hotel looked nicely painted.
• Shower water valve leaked, and the continental breakfast was a bit lacking, coffee was bad.

“Overall this is a good value priced hotel. Internet access was nice, and included in room rate, staff was friendly. Room was pretty clean. I would stay here again on business for the same rate. I need a substantial breakfast and wasn't overjoyed by the breakfast.”

• Friendly and helpful front desk person, very clean and comfortable room, easy to find location, convenient to Pasadena area.
• It is a bit away from Downtown Pasadena.

“For a clean simple place to stay and feel safe and comfortable, within driving distance of nicer part of Pasadena and restaurants, this works very well. Nothing fancy and not run down at all. Very clean and friendly, helpful staff. I would stay here again if in Pasadena area for business or visiting.”

• The parking small.

“Sorry, I will do it in Spanish: The hotel has: a big rooms, nice mirror, TV, comfortable bed and very clean the sheet, etc. I like it and my friends too. We had one trouble, we are from Mexico, and for us are necessary bring with us the ticket of payment and the hotel don't give us nothing.”
