• Convenient location to airport.
• Pool was empty/drained.

“Hotel is a landmark in the so called area and is convenient to Long Beach Airport. It is also a short distance to major freeways so it is a good starting point to other. Rooms have different amenities so travelers can choose from various price points.”

• The towels were clean and they provided Garden Botanical toiletries.
• This is an old hotel and it shows. This is a general feeling of uncleanliness. The staff is not overachievers.

“The hotel is easy to find. It took longer to check in. Even though the hotel was relatively empty, room overlooked the dumpsters and the freeway. The room had the unpleasant odor that comes with old hotels. The floors (carpeted and tiled) and counter tops were sticky. The blackout blind was hung in such a way that it did not fully close. The towels were clean and decent toiletries were provided. But that did not make up for the drawbacks. I will not return to this hotel in the future.”

• Great location.
• Beds lumpy, did not know I could order special pillows till the end of my stay.

“The rooms were a bit small compared to other hotels. At check in they could have told us we could order pillows instead of leaving a card for ordering. Over all it was a nice stay.”

• Location was good.
• Dirty, not well maintained.

“The hotel was okay, but not a typical holiday inn. The stairwells were disgusting (dirty, had stains and missing pieces to the walls) and they had doors leading outside without any locks or safety measures.”

• I felt this hotel should be rated higher than 2 stars.
• No complaints.

“Asked for and received a non-smoking king room. Staff was pleasant. Room had been remodeled. Very nice stay. Would not hesitate to stay there again.”

• The rooms were a little shabby.

“This hotel was fine for a one night stay because it is close to the airport and provides complimentary transportation to the airport. There is also a restaurant/lounge in the hotel. I also appreciated free wireless access. This trip was a combination leisure/business trip.”

• Nice bar and restaurant in pent house.
• Freeway and Airport noise.

“Nice, clean hotel with a very friendly staff and a good bar and restaurant on the Penthouse floor. Plenty of parking but somewhat noisy being next to the I-405 freeway and the Long Beach Airport.”

• Nice wallpaper, wireless internet in the room.
• Staff, check in and check out.

“The check in staff, Omar, took 20 minutes to find our reservation and we were unable to checkout from within our room. The front desk staff, Omar, was unfamiliar with the surrounding areas and unable to provide directions to a local retail store. Very unimpressed with the hotel as a whole.”

• It offers a view of the landing in the Long Beach Airport. Free toothpaste and other necessities upon request.
• The heater smelled when turned on.

“It is circular in shape. Has a restaurant on the top floor with a view of the city and airport.”

• Liked having coffee pot, iron & ironing board in room. Pillows were excellent!
• Didn't have continental breakfast. Bathroom too small, elevators were problematic and weren't rising.

• The restaurant was pretty good
• Being put in a smoking, smelly, old, tired room.

“The hotel is smelly and old. The room was so gross. All our clothing reeked of stale smoke. We had to launder every item, even clothes not worn. We got into my daughter's car and the first thing she said was : You smell of smoke." ”
