• Hotel Staff was excellent!
• A real elevator in the main building instead of a wheel chair lift would be nice.

• The room was nice, there was free breakfast & dinner plus fireplace & kitchen, & lots of closet space.
• I had to return to the front desk several times due to my room key being inactive.

“The hotel exceeded my expectations as the room was clean, it had a fireplace with a free duraflame log in it, a kitchen with pots, dishes, silverware, etc and three closets.”

• Spaciousness and convenience.
  Very clean and updated, worth value.
• Parking was a little tight. We had a full size truck.

“Very surprised at the value of the room. Very spacious and we preferred staying there than at the hotel which had a higher rating. Traveling with children, this made it easier to get to room and had much more amenities than the other hotel. The bed was much more comfortable and the bath facilities much more roomier.”

• I was suprised at how clean everything was, the pools looked really nice.
• Our room smelled like a smokers room pretty badly, even though its a nonsmoking room.

“We stayed here as a family with small children to be close to an event we were attending. Our room was clean (except for the smoke smell) and so were the grounds. The staff was very friendly as well and helped us find local stores and restaurants.”

• View from room was non existent (wooden fence).

“Very convenient to Long Beach Airport (LGB). Front desk was pleasant. Some ants in the room around the bathroom sink area. No view and didn't feel very secure on the back side of the hotel. But overall great quality for the price. Comfortable, clean and breakfast and WiFi included.”

• The free lunch they gave was horrible.

“The hotel looks ok, the lunch and the breakfast was ok. Rooms are good if you plan on being by your self for a long period of time. I was originally going to receive two beds in one bedroom but I did not. I was stuck with the same small room with 3 people which was just horrible.”

• Clean, excellent service, great breakfast and reception.
• I requested a late checkout but the hotel was overbooked and could not accommodate a late checkout.

“Family-friendly location in a newly remodeled facility. The clean and fully-stocked kitchen allowed us to take home restaurant leftovers to reheat later. The work area allowed plenty of room to work on a laptop and search for things to do. The hot breakfast was delicious and two people always on-hand to restock when supplies ran low. The evening reception was an unexpected treat that proved to be dinner on many evenings. Truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.”

• Loved the free breakfast and full kitchenette!
• Pull out sofa was not comfortable. Not something we could sleep on, not enough towels for 3 people.

“Very clean! Easy to check in and out. Good breakfast. They had eggs, bacon, waffles, juice, cold & hot cereal, bagels, bread, toast, muffins, coffee and hash browns. The sofa bed was not really something to sleep on. Too bad, since there we 3 of us in the room. We liked having a full kitchenette set up! Coffee maker, popcorn, microwave, dishwasher & fridge etc. Great hotel, super price, we hope to stay here again.”

• The hotel was clean and easily accessible by freeway.
• We had to leave our room and change rooms at midnight on our first night due to other guests noise.

“My husband who is an officer and I smelled strong odor during our first night at 10pm. We called for the manager who stated that he did not know what this smell was. After three different hotel staff confirmed the smell we were moved with our son to another room at 12am. The hotel staff offered us a movie in return for the hassle. It was inconvenient to us and our 9 year old son with whom we were traveling with.”

“I recommend this hotel to every, it was in a great location, extremely comfortable and the staff was absolutely wonderful, not to mention the security staff after a certain time they made sure that everyone who entered the property was suppose to be there, that's really comforting when you have children.”

• It was close to Long Beach Airport.
• I had a room facing the main street and I could hear trucks rumbling all night.

“A standard Residence Inn located close to Long Beach Airport. The room, bed are well kept and very functional. They offer a decent breakfast in the morning. Service and noise are the big issues. I heard trucks rumbling all night. The back of the hotel faces the 405 freeway too.”

• The staff was helpful and professional.

“We had a somewhat traumatic time in that during our stay an other drunken guest accused one of my guests of a crime he did not commit. As such we were unable to get a full nights sleep nor were we able to partake of the breakfast buffet as he is a minor and we had to accompany him to the local hospital for tests and questioning. The beds, for the time we were there, were extremely comfortable. The rooms spacious, inviting, and extremely clean. The hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating.”

“In general the hotel was very acceptable! clean room and friendly staff! Breakfast was nice as they have a full self service hot breakfast buffet. no pressure at checkout, they let me stay until 2:30 pm.”

• Large rooms with full kitchen. Nice breakfast even on weekend mornings.
• Weekends cater to wedding guests. Very noisy from 11pm to 1am as the weddings were ending and people entering the complex or leaving in cars.

“Chose hotel for a pre-cruise stay. Location close to the Long Beach airport (and has airport shuttle). Handy for travelers, but would not venture out for a walk at night. Residence Inns cater to weekly business travelers, and have full kitchens. This location, however, is beside a large banquet hall facility that holds weddings and events on Friday and Saturday nights, therefore from 10 pm to 1 am, there were people in the parking lot below our rooms, noisy and celebrating. When one group would leave, another would start up. Didn't get much sleep. Would not recommend for weekend stays.”

• It is very conveniently located to the Long Beach Airport and major freeways that lead elsewhere in Southern California.
• Uncertain of shuttle service to airport.

“For what I needed, it served its purposes well. It had the things in room that allowed me to eat in and fix food that meant I did not have to do the restaurant bit all the time. I was quite pleased with the value for the price and the room I had to relax once inside the room.”

“This is a really nice hotel for traveling families as well as business travelers. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the amenities are very good. Free full breakfast daily and dinner during the work week. Two pool areas, lots of parking. Full kitchen, free hi-speed internet. Highly recommended.”

• the parking is kind of a hassle

“This hotel is wonderful. The two big, clean, and very accessable from everyroom pools are great. If things are too noisey at one you can move to the other. Just about every room has a full kitchen in it, which is great when traveling with kids,(full size fridge, not normal hotel size!). I will definitely visit this hotel again, I just hope they are all as great as the Long Beach one.”

• I was not impressed in a positive way at all.
• Looked nothing like the pictures, Needs remodeling badly

“I could have stayed in a Red Roof Inn for less and would have gotten what I expected. The reservation staff would not even try to put me in the room of my request (two double beds). My friend whom went on the trip with me at the last minute had to sleep on the tiny sofa. Oh Yea, these rooms are not "suites" just typical hotel rooms. Their add is very misleading.”
