“The hotel was short staffed on this particular holiday weekend. It has a beautiful decor and the location is convenient although the neighborhood is not great, but all of long beach is not so great a neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the linens were good quality.”

- Very clean and comfortable. I loved the decor and the views were spectacular.
- Loved everything.

- The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
- Room was not very clean and staff did not respond to needs in timely manner.
“The hotel is a good location for the Long Beach Area. The staff is not very professional and does not respond to concerns in a manner that suits a four star hotel. The windows were very dirty on the outside distorting the view. The room was also not very clean, there was an opened water bottle on the desk that was half empty.”

- The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.
- Our tub did not drain and the remote and alarm clock were missing!
“Overall our one night visit was pleasant. We checked in late (almost 10 pm), but had no problems. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous. I enjoy walking, so the 15 min walk to the Long Beach Convention Center and the Aquarium of the Pacific was not an issue for me. However, there is nothing right next door and the hotel is just in the middle of office buildings. So, there is nothing to entertaining nearby. We tried to visit the bar' keyword tried, because we stood at the bar for about 10 mins we walked away. The bartender stood there counting tips and then right after walked away to join some people at a table to have drinks. There was no one else around and he clearly saw us. The bartender was rude. So, to avoid an argument, we walked away. Our room had no view, because we were on the third floor and our window faced a wall. The room and bathroom were fairly clean. Although, it was bothersome to find there was no remote or alarm clock in the room. I called front desk at 12am to ask for a remote and did not get one until I made a second call and then finally received the remote at 2 am! We were finally going to sleep at around 3 am and noticed there was no alarm clock! But the next morning after our cell phones woke us up, I requested late checkout and I was happy to find that they had a complementary late checkout time of 2 pm. The parking fee of $15/day was not too bad considering you do get in/out privileges. I probably would not choose to stay here again for leisure, but I might for business.”

- The pool for my younger children.
- The staff were no help and there were teenagers allowed to run up and down the hall screaming foul language until the early, worse than Vegas.

- The decoration in the bedroom.
- The hotel was not clean.
“This is the dirtiest Hilton Hotel I have ever seen. Not deserving of the name. The nice decor in the lobby was very deceiving. You could see pieces of food on the carpet in hallway and in elevator. My room was not cleaned at all so I requested a room change. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and tub. Running the water or flushing the toilet produced a sewer like odor. The other guests were super noisy. Not a 4-star hotel! If this hotel is 4-star then Econolodge is 10-star!”

- Had a balcony with a view of the harbor and ocean. Lovely! Hot tub was wonderful.
- Parking rate $15 a day. No free internet access anywhere in the hotel.
“within walking distance to Pine Avenue and the Pike can take the passport bus for free to the aquarium, shoreline village, queen marry, pine avenue and downtown area. Would definitely stay here again. Room was very spacious. had no problem requesting room with two queen beds upon check in. We were traveling with our kids and needed two beds. We took a risk and it paid off.”

- We all enjoyed the bathrooms. They were so clean. Even the tile was clean. No black spots! We loved the headboards. It was clean and fresh.
- The lighting. It was a bit too dark in the room.
“This was our first time in Long Beach. We were there just to get away. I was there with my four children. I have stayed at the Hilton in Downtown Atlanta and we did not like it at all so I wasnt sure I would enjoy this one but to my surprise it was wonderful. The linen was fresh and clean. The bathrooms were beautiful. The majority of the staff was great. The only problem we had was parking around the corner and finding the door on the side. Other than that we loved it and will return to it again!”

They give me no time and space to get the most trivial and granted things done (like unloading the car or buying a carton of milk on the go).The staff of the hotel must've sympathized with my situation because they made every accommodation they could to "ease" my load. Very happy with my stay here and the only reason I wouldn't return is if I could find a similar experience more "central" to my activities in LA.”

- Great overall location & good choice of restaurants.
- Everything was great.
“Great location for those cruising out of Long Beach or San Pedro. Wonderful staff, nice to have a free shuttle for sightseeing. We would highly recommend this hotel.”
