“One of the classic circular tower hotels. Confusing, but interesting. Good views, convenient to all things downtown in LA. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. It is a good business man's hotel. The only thing it really needs is stronger workplace lighting.” Dec 2, 2009 by
Yvette from Calexico,CA
“We ran out of shampoo and did not have extra, had to call the front desk, did not get.” Nov 19, 2009 by
Lee from Mt Pleasant,SC

“The Westin Bonaventure is a fine hotel for a brief business trip. The basic amenities are suitable for someone exercising, swimming, eating, and shopping in a ulitarian fashion, but not suitable as a luxury or impressive experience. Our two rooms were on the same floor, but on opposite ends of the floor. Both rooms had views of the glass walled elevators, not just views, but nearly close enough to touch. The sound of the elevator could be heard all night and day. As the hotel seems to be a popular stop for the locals, the elevators were in high use for the bars, restaurants, and numerous wedding parties. Again, it was a fine hotel.” Sep 30, 2009 by
Patricia Alvarado from Saugus,CA “Not worth the money. Next time will try the Marriot down the street.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Alice from Chino,CA
“This hotel is right down the street from Nokia Theatre and the accommodations are wonderful with the bed and the pillow top comfort. It was a great night sleep.” Sep 7, 2009 by
Denny from La Crescenta,CA
“Very nice hotel.” Sep 4, 2009 by
Kay from Warriewood,CA
“Good hotel in good location. Check in was friendly and efficient. Satisfied my requests for a room with 2 double beds on a high floor, on the quiet side of the building. I got a nice room that had been renovated. Beds were soft. Appreciated the fridge where I could put my water for cooling.” Aug 30, 2009 by
Sam from Mount Vernon,WA
“The hotel is located in the heart of the business district in LA. As with all Westin hotels this location included the upscale amenities that you would expect. My only complaint was the expensive parking fee.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Jesse K from New Westminster,Canada
“staff are very friendly & location of the hotel is very conveniently located and in very nice area. So many restraunts in the hotel, vast selection” Aug 29, 2009 by
Joshua from Markham,Canada
“Overall, cannot complain for the price we paid for the hotel. However, would not pay regular rate stated. But for a 4-star hotel, would've expected more from the hotel in regards to service and facilities.” Aug 26, 2009 by
Nhu from San Jose,CA “Everything is good but parking fee is so expensive with $ 32/day.” Aug 22, 2009 by
John from East Point,GA
“I had requested a 3 1/2 star hotel and the quality of the room was very bare minimum the mini bar had a list on it but nothing in it . the carpets were worn, the lighting was very poor . I ate in the Brewing Co at the hotel the service was substandard. The waiters ignored a couple that sat near me and never went over to their table at all. They finally got up and left. The food was blah and boring with no creativity as well as over priced. The valet seemed to keep loosing my car to the point that it took 20-30 min to get my car several times that I parked there.” Aug 21, 2009 by
Angel from Chicago,IL
“I absolutely loved it. And I would stay there again.” Aug 21, 2009 by
Josephine from Los Angeles,CA
“I will definitely stay in this hotel. Love the free coffee.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Dorothy from Lansing,MI
“Over all review of the hotel. I would stay there again. I love the view of the city from my room.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Ian from Brentwood,TN “Smelled of smoke even though it was non smoking. Furniture in bad condition, carpets dirty, bed old. Noisy.” Aug 16, 2009 by
Mike from Santa Barbara,CA
“The hotel is massive in scope and size. The room is well appointed, nice linens etc. Hot water on command which was impressive considering the size of the hotel. Parking is $45 a night, the neighborhood is downtown but felt secure at night. we walked to the Modern Art museum which was nice. overall a good experience, but not really a place for families.” Aug 13, 2009 by
Ash from Santa Clara,CA “It took too long to valet park and the parking is expensive $32. Due to the parking situation, it was difficult to also get the car and then leave the premise due to stalled cars in front. The room was mediocre but the beds were relatively comfortable.” Jul 31, 2009 by
Katie from Athens,GA
“The first room they put us in had cigarette holes and a huge iron burn mark in the carpet. The cable did not work, the walls were dingy, the bathtub was moldy. It looked like there had been multiple parties thrown! GROSS! I had to ask for a second room which the manager thought was extremely unreasonable and was very rude about. The second room had been upgraded but it still was not that great. Everyone except one person that we encountered at the hotel must have hated their job because they were all RUDE. Even when we asked the housekeeper to leaave more than two towels she was sooo rude. I would not recomend this hotel. I have had extremely good luck with Priceline except for this hotel.” Jul 23, 2009 by
Pam from Santa Barbara,CA
“Large youth group was extremely noisy in area by pool.” Jun 24, 2009 by
Ed from Coto De Caza,CA
“Seemed like a nice hotel. Our room smelled and the carpet was wet. Hallway lite was out. We didn't have time to ask for another room and got back late. Obviously, no one checked this room after the carpet was cleaned.” Jun 10, 2009 by
from Pleasanton,CA
“Big hotel, glass elevators, nice view and good service.” Jun 3, 2009 by
Nicola from Los Angeles,CA
“Distinctive architecture, interesting lobby and public areas.” May 30, 2009 by
Betty from Escondido,CA
“Excellent experience.” May 26, 2009 by
Chris from Diamond Bar,CA
“The hotel was very nice with almost all of the staff being friendly and helpful. The lobby and lounge was beautiful and made it feel so grand and upscale. The rooms were very nice and comfortable but a bit dated. The view from the lounge was AMAZING. You must go if you stay there. As for the service, some of the worst I have every experience, especially for the level of hotel and prices. The place was only half full too.” May 12, 2009 by
Enrique from Pico Rivera,CA
“I thought it was adequately priced.” May 6, 2009 by
Marie from Watsonville,CA
“Hotel is for business travelers differently not family friendly. Parking is outrageous. Hotel is too big and get lost really easy for a 4 star hotel which they say they are the TV was small and had nothing on it. Prices for food was way too high. Who pays $30 for eggs and bacon. Overall I would say I did not get my moneys worth at all.” May 1, 2009 by
Linda from Palm Desert,CA
“We were quickly given a nicer room and treated to complimentary breakfast. The hotel grounds and the room were beautiful. Would like to stay again.” Apr 27, 2009 by
Bob from Long Beach,CA
“Room amenities were primitive - paper cups, no coffee, etc., but are in keeping with the sign of the times. The in room dining was average considering the price.” Apr 21, 2009 by
Sam from Asheville,NC
“Great Location, Friendly Staff, Incredible Variety of Restaurants, some better then others. Expensive room service/breakfast buffet. The hotel is so huge, it took us 30 minutes to find La prime but once we got there it was worth all the trouble. Incredible food, very expensive (but worth every penny). I would stay here again.” Apr 17, 2009 by
Tony from Los Angeles,CA
“This is hotel is terrible, noise elevator, feel like sleeping on a train. Expensive parking. Sheets are not very clean.” Apr 14, 2009 by
Michelle from Clovis,CA
“If you have to stay in downtown LA, this hotel is fine. It's a little hectic and mall-like in the lobby and shopping areas, the rooms are small but the beds are comfortable westin beds. Very easy to get a cab down to the convention center. The pool isn't great, a little run-down last time I was there.” Apr 13, 2009 by
Hanif from Glendale,CA
“The Westin Bonaventure is not being maintained at a 4 star (or even a 3 star) level. The room had collected much dust and there was no ventilation to speak of. Especially off-putting were the stains on the comforters and the shower curtain. Since it was small, there was not much room to lounge within the room itself. The bars and restaurants in the lobby seemed lifeless. Since I was expecting a 4 star hotel, I was deeply disappointed.” Apr 9, 2009 by
Steph from San Luis Obispo,CA
“The hotel set up makes no sense at all. The rooms are very small and they claim to have renovated the rooms. The carpet was disgusting! The bathroom was pretty gross and there was no fan so that made it miserable after each shower and there were 4 of us in the room so after 4 showers it was a nightmare! The bathroom was way too small and I don't understand how they thought the toilet fit in such a cramped space. The beds are too small to accommodate 2 adults so don't plan on sleeping if you get a room with 2 double beds. There is no food or drink service at the pool are you kidding me? Needless to say our time at the pool was limited. The valet service was way too expensive $32 a day is crazy. To sum it up we will never stay at the Westin Bonaventure again!” Apr 8, 2009 by
Linda from Santee,CA
“The staff was EXTREMELY helpful at front desk, concierge and room service. Bullet shaped elevators shoot through the lobby ceiling on the outside of the hotel with stunning views of downtown, hills and mountains. The fountains and running water in the lobby are so restful and diminish the lobby buzz.” Apr 8, 2009 by
Rosemary from Oak Aprk,IL
“Fine for business but a 3.5 star hotel.” Apr 6, 2009 by
Stuart from Winthrop Harbor,IL “Clean, professional and good location.” Apr 5, 2009 by

“This 1970's version of a John Portman hotel is fairly up to date and well run, but Mar 21, 2009 by

“The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The main downside of my stay was the $42.00 per night parking fee.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 18, 2009 by
Keith from Tucson,AZ “Nice hotel. But don't allow them to park your car! They will charge you $42 a night! There are plenty of parking lots within distance of the hotel and are much cheaper.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 12, 2009 by

“The Bonaventure is an ideal place to stay for the business traveler if you need to be in downtown LA. The room was clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 25, 2009 by

“A brilliant hotel with great views, amenities, rooms, beds, showers, etc. Great location except it's not very close to any public or street parking so be prepared to be hit with a $42/night valet parking.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 20, 2009 by
Jamie from Feeding Hills,MA
“Hotel, was overall a nice place. Most stores, and restaurants that are part of the hotel were either closed or just plain cheap. I would not return to the hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 19, 2009 by
Alan from Napa,CA
“The only advantage of this hotel is location, other than that I can't think of anything good about it. the room and the lobby need to be remodeled. Feb 19, 2009 by
Fred from Cypress,CA
“This hotel is an insult. Poorly managed. The line just to enter the valet parking garage (no on-property self-parking) was 1/2 hour. Then once inside the garage, the attendants were running around aimlessly, doing everything except attending to customers. This mandatory valet service is a poor first-impression for this property, and reflects to an overall apathetic management. Front desk was understaffed. No available bell staff.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
