“Very pleased with the Priceline price and location.” Oct 29, 2009 by
Peggy from Santa Maria,CA
“The hotel overall was very comforting. I was surprised to have had a small refrigerator provided. It was a nice added touch for the traveler including a family. The double size beds are small, regretted to have chosen that room as opposed to a queen bed. But the hotel staff was friendly and the room was very clean. I would highly recommend it to anyone.” Oct 18, 2009 by
Jay from Las Vegas,NV

“Hotel staff was very courteous and professional. Business Center was very helpful to us. Wish there had free wireless in the rooms. If there was, we were not aware of it. Room was very clean.” Jul 5, 2009 by
Laura from Templeton,CA
“Although the hotel is old, it was very clean with helpful friendly staff, safe area and ample convenient free parking.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Susan from Tucson,AZ
“Well maintained, friendly staff. Lots of parking that was validated at the front desk. The rooms were clean and well kept.” Apr 9, 2009 by
Kirsten from Mckinleyville,CA
“Comfortable, staff was friendly and the parking was included in the price of the room. The bed was nice and the pillows were just right.” Nov 10, 2008 by
Sergio from San Jose,CA
“Good location, not far from tourist attractions and close to restaurants, movies and shops.” Nov 10, 2008 by
John from Whitefish,MT
“Bedding and room were somewhat unkempt I have a Holiday Inn Priority Gold. Bathroom was small with bad lighting. Of all the Holiday Inns and HI Express hotels I stayed in this year, this was the worst.” Oct 30, 2008 by
Karen
“Very clean hotel, with nice pool and amenities. Walking distance to a great row of shops and restaurants; movie media center near by. In-room cable system was terrible - channels were blurry, no previews of movies, just a long list and very high priced, no way to pause them or change channels without losing the movie! Way too expensive business center / internet access.” Oct 27, 2008 by
David
“Conveniently located 1/2 block from I5. Full service, with free parking facility. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff.

“I stay at this hotel several times a year--mostly because of its safe and secure and central location. The staff is friendly, but there's always something that goes wrong. This time, they failed to connect my telephone (despite several urgent requests).

“Only one of two elevators working in the south tower, so we were on the third floor and used the stairs often. Room was clean, but the pillows were miserable. It took until our final night to notice the sign that says you can request different pillows. Parking was free in the parking structure next door. Easy walking distance from many good restaurants and the mall. The pool was small. Though, there were no towels on one trip to the pool. We discovered there are many folks living in this hotel as it is cheaper than rent. I would certainly recommend this hotel.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Evette from Las Vegas, NV
“Clean, convenient with a nice staff.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Kathe from Henderson, NV
“If you want a large room with a comfortable bed and location close to shopping this is good. However, be ready for very outdated furniture, carpet in hallway was being dried with a large fan, one of two elevators was out of order. Nothing romantic about this place. Needs a major overhaul. I wouldn't rate this higher than a 2 1/2 star although I asked for a 3 star hotel.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Garrett from Visalia, CA
“Great hotel, located near restaurants. Staff was amazingly courteous. Would definitely recommend to others.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Laurie from Anaheim, CA
“I couldn't ask for a better location in Burbank. Parking is free for guests which is always a plus but it was missing a few things, namely a computer with internet to use in the lobby, etc.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Anne from San Diego, CA
“Convenient location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. I would definitely return and recommend to others!” Sep 2, 2008 by
Tom from Santa Maria, CA
“Facility is well maintained and pleasant. Room was modern, clean, and well appointed. All staff was friendly and helpful; housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, concierge, restaurant. Well, except for the Sullen High School girl in the gift shop.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Janine from Poway, CA
“Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location. Comfortable beds and pillows. They brought up toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and shaving cream for my son who had forgotten his & were so nice about it. Also, we got a welcome call from the manager asking if we needed anything and arranging a wake-up call for us (which included the local weather). A really good place to stay for a business traveler or to be near the Burbank Airport. Not fancy, but very nice & clean.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Cb from Pismo Beach, CA
“Upon checking in, I was told that my room was next to the elevator, it turned out to be a room that was in a small lobby off each elevator, the only room not in an actual hallway. Upon walking in the room, I noticed how noisy it was and discovered that the noise of the freeway was so loud, I thought I had just checked into a Motel 6 next to a freeway. At first I thought the window was slightly open, unfortunately it was not. After going back down to the front desk, they put me in another room that was 'sure to be quite'. It was at the back end of the hotel at the end of the hallway, another room right next to the elevators. When I entered it, I noticed that the chair ottoman was stacked on the chair, the carpet was not only dirty, but it had stains all over it. When I got to the window I saw an air-conditioner half way removed from the window with the power cord unplugged and resting on top of it. Obviously this room was not rentable and the staff did not have it marked down as such. At this point I went back down to the front desk and since they did not have any other non-smoking rooms, I asked just for a nice clean, quiet, smoking room. After checking with the shift supervisor, the front desk clerk said they were putting me over in the executive suites tower, albeit a smoking suite. When I got off the elevator, the smells of smoking and who knows what else about floored me. I went down and into the room/suite and found a clean, but smelly suite. It came with a kitchenette and again, looked like something right out of the early to mid 1980s. This was worse than a full disappointment. It is anything but a '3-Star Upscale' hotel. It has the potential, but would need a full remodel to get there.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Nv from Wichita, KS
“Nice hotel, simple. Not anything extravagant or fancy, but neat and nice and does the job for someone who won't be spending a ton of time in the room.” Aug 30, 2008 by
John from Nashville, TN
“Adequate and convenient but not quite upscale as I had hoped.” Aug 30, 2008 by
Joyce from Concord, CA
“Our stay was very pleasant. Travel with teen boy, needed special room, he loved it. Staff tried very hard to get close rooms. Upgraded room to accommodate our needs.1st night bath door squeaked woke up spouse. Saw maintenance man in, I asked him to fix - he got right on it That eve no squeak. Loved restaurant staff-(esp... hostess) we came in late 1st eve, they were closing, we were hungry, they cooked and made us food to go. NEVER made we feel like we were putting them out in any way. Hotel was very clean, rooms, bathroom, and halls. Plenty of helpful friendly staff. Maids were sure to greet you passing in the hall. I would go back no hesitation.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Peter from Warren, NJ
“A multi story motel.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Jeri from Coeur D Alene, ID
“Average hotel for amenities. Great location with movies, shopping and good restaurants within easy walking distance.” Aug 23, 2008 by
Michael from Livermore, CA
“A stay at the Holliday Inn Burbank is like taking a trip back in time to the 1970's and remembering why we were so eager to leave that decade behind. It is in serious need of a makeover. The corridors have an odd smell to them, and the rooms, while relatively spacious, are dark. This is a 2-star hotel that suffers from the delusion that it's a 3-star hotel.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Anna M. from Redwood City, CA
“The decor is really outdated, the full size beds were really uncomfortable, two queens would have been better. The restaurant was very nice.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Amy from Santa Ynez, CA
“It's ok, just ok.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Aubrey from San Jose, CA
“Bed bugs. I think thats all I need to say. I woke up with little red spots all over my legs. My friends ended up getting a room where the lights didnt work and it had a full size bed. When they gave them a new room, it was a smoking room. The people at the front desk were not very nice; there were no apologies for putting us on separate floors, or for messing up our friend's room. I would never stay here again!” Aug 20, 2008 by
Rosemarie from El Cajon, CA
“After reading reviews about this hotel, I was contemplating backing out. I am so glad I didn't. The hotel lobby is very nice. The rooms are very clean, decor is very nice and the beds are not as uncomfortable as your ratings suggest. It was just fine. Great location! On the other hand, my key card did not work at first and I had to go back down to the front desk. The customer service was terrible. Long wait at front desk and anytime we called the front desk for assistance. Overall, this hotel was great and I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again!” Aug 19, 2008 by
Kim from Elverta, CA
“Very convenient location close to freeway, food and shopping. Had free internet and kids ate free with adult purchase in the hotel restaurant. Staff was very friendly. Only wished they had an outdoor hot tub.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Anne from Bakersfield, CA
“Hotel needs major updating - bathrooms are very old with cracked tiles and chipped paint.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Mark from Milwaukie, OR
“The hotel is great for travelers. Clean facilities and friendly staff.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Barbara from Indio, CA
“The hotel was clean our room was quiet and clean and comfortable. Staff was reserved friendly. Great location. I do not like the Burbank area and would not stay there again. I went to see the new Americana Shopping area in Glendale. This had nothing to do with the hotel. The area is hotter in the summer and I like other areas for shopping like The Spectrum or Fashion Island also the Groove was really fun.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Elizabeth from Stuart, FL
“One of the guest's dog was swimming in the pool. Kids around pool were throwing dirt. I called in about the phone in my room not working, no one ever came to fix it. I called about the air conditioner not working properly, no one ever came to fix it. The window in the room was filthy on the outside. Bathroom floor was not clean. When arriving at the hotel, no one offered to help us with our 3 large suitcases, 2 small ones, laptop, shoulder bags etc. They just looked at us and watched us struggle.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Mark from San Diego, CA
“For a quick nights stay, this hotel did the job. It is very evident that it is an older hotel. The bed was not real comfortable and the bathroom a bit musty. Hotel staff was ok but not real friendly. Bartender in pub was friendliest of the bunch.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Kris from El Cajon, CA
“Did not like parking structure because there were stair you had to take luggage on to enter the hotel. Difficult with kids along. Not impressed with check in.” Aug 9, 2008 by
Angela from Temecula, CA
“This hotel in Burbank was much better than I expected it to be; located next to the Burbank downtown civic area and mall, there are a number of really good restaurants and shops to visit within walking distance from the hotel. In addition to the mall and civic areas, the hotel is located close to the freeway and has easy access to downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena and the surrounding areas.” Aug 3, 2008 by
Andre from Las Vegas, NV
“Suggestions for improvement: Room: needs mini bar and larger TV, air con too loud. Bar: seating area by the bar too small, no atmosphere.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Teri from Turlock, CA
“The hotel was comfortable and very friendly atmosphere.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Dan from Visalia, CA
“The hotel is average. Staff was less than helpful. There were not enough staff to check in patrons. Lots of confusion. Not very friendly or helpful. Free parking with validation. Lots of eateries and shopping near the hotel.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Chiao Sze T. from South San Francisco, CA
“Our rooms were right next to the elevator and facing the outdoor swimming pool (looked packed at 4 PM), so noise was a concern, but turns out pool closes at 10 PM and since we retired to the rooms past midnight, it was not a problem. Still, try to ask for rooms that are in the back or higher up. There was also a loud wedding reception happening that night in the first floor ballroom, and we were able to hear the music (bass) faintly. Impressed they had a pillow menu (guest can ask for pillows of varying materials/firmness). Otherwise, no frills, no fuss, clean, quick check-in/check-out, and validated parking all made for a decent stay.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Jack from Benicia, CA
“The place is huge. It has 2 towers; it has a pool, an exercise room, a sports bar, 18 storeys of view including glass elevators.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Andy from Madison, WI
“The hotel worth the price. It is very close to one of the major highway, so it may be convenient depending where you want to go. The staff was friendly and seems to want to help. I had a smoking room initially (I wasn't too happy about it) and finally had the non-smoking room. The lobby is uniquely decorated and very flashy. I like it! The elevator was broken when I checked in. The elevator needs to have an AC since it's on the side of the building with direct sunlight. Room is clean and nicely cleaned. The bathroom is acceptable for the star rating. The AC is a bit noisy, but it's expected due to windowed setup.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Renee from Bend, OR
“Front desk personnel were extremely polite & attentive.”
