• No cable, just a couple of channels.

• Helpful staff.
• Continental breakfast was not the high quality that we usually have at Comfort Inn.

“Good for an economy motel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The Continental Breakfast was okay. But the apples were small (thats okay) but were bruised. We were late coming down so don't know if they provided any other fruit but apples. We had to open the fridge and get out orange juice because it was empty on the counter so they could keep an eye on things a little better. But to me my first desire is for helpful service and that they are. They printed out maps for us and called places for us etc.”

• When I was moved to one of the renovated rooms, it was nice with microwave and fridge.
• Noisy from both freeway and trains; air conditioning did not work; staff first refused to move me.

“If you stay here, ask for a room that has been renovated or upgraded. My first room had an awful TV that the staff said they couldn't do anything about. The air conditioner would not work properly, blowing some cool air, but then actually heated air. After two hours my room was hotter than outside. The staff initially refused to move me, but eventually relented when I insisted. It's right next to a freeway, which I didn't hear that much, but the trains are really noisy. I would not stay here again.”

• Wireless internet worked well. Continental breakfast was decent. Bathroom in new room was decent.
• Mediocre service at best; I've been in similarly priced motels with better furnishings and working air conditioner.

“The hotel is located next to a large freeway and train tracks. I didn't hear the freeway from the room, but the trains were extremely loud. The TV was just awful; blurry with lines through the picture. The air conditioner did not work consistently - it blew somewhat cool air and then blew hot air. After two hours my room was warmer than the outside air. When I complained about this, I was told the air conditioner was fine, just slow. I was told nothing could be done about the TV. I had to object vehemently to be moved. The new room was much nicer and had been remodeled. A more modern air conditioner worked fine as did the TV, though the channels available are quite limited. On the plus side, the wireless internet worked quite well and was reasonably fast.”

• Bed was comfortable.
• Air conditioner not working properly, Gave me wrong room key.

“Hotel carpet very dirty, air conditioner make excessive noise, television not working very well and had only 3 basic channels. They initially gave me a room that was already occupied.”

• Price.
• Next to freeway and train tracks, lots of noise, poorly maintained property.

“The bathroom fixtures were poorly maintained. It was very difficult to take a shower. The hotel in next to the freeway and the noise in non-stop. The hotel is also very close to train tracks.”

• Nobody bothered you, cleaning staff was timed so you never saw them.
• The pool looked like it needed to be cleaned.

“It was nice for a quick getaway. Convenient location, 24 hour food access available across street. The staff at the hotel was nice and friendly. We parked wherever we wanted in their parking lot.”

• The room was very clean and smelled fresh. It made me very comfortable.
• The lobby was not very presentable. It looked a little dirty. When I walked in I had second thoughts about staying there.

“Overall the hotel was a clean average hotel. The free breakfast was nice and it's dinning area was very small. I thought the housekeeping staff was the best thing there. Also the front desk staff was very helpful alos. I would stay there again.”

• The man at the front desk.
• The police being there at all hours of the night.

“During my stay there the other occupants were very noisy. The police had to come and take some of them away. Both the shower and toilet were not functional at times. The shower had to be fixed and it made me late to a meeting.”

“My stay was just ok, air planes fly over head till after dark and railway is close by. Approx 1 block. Lots of noise.”

• I thought it was a little pricey for what it was.

• I like the way the room were set up.
• The location of the hotel.

“When we checked into our room, there were still people in the room! We went and got another room and it was nice for the time being. Hotel is on the ghetto side of town and really far from universal studios. The hallway was dark and not lit up the first night. But the staff was nice. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Unless you are really desperate!”

• Hallways were grungy but room was clean.

“It was too close to the freeway with ugly views. They wouldn't give me a receipt when I checked out so I don't know what my final bill was.”
