• Beds were really comfortable.
• The pillows are very uncomfortable - short and thick.

• Pillows were too soft, no view.

• Room was small and not up to LaQuinta standards.

“The hotel was conveniently located to downtown Walla Walla. The room was really small and needed a make over. Excellent breakfast in the morning, nice pool and spa area.”

• No elevator and I have physical limitations.

“This hotel has no elevator and I was on the third floor, I have physical limitations and had to check out a day earlier than planned. Not happy with this experience.”

• Outside grounds too limited no outdoor space to enjoy.

“It was fine for 1 night, but prefer outdoor pools and nicer outside grounds. They had manicured walkways but nowhere to enjoy the nice weather.”

• The floor of the room was uneven, and the drawers were broken.

• The room had odor issues. the floor had hard lumps under the rug. The maid service didn't do well, didn't leave towels one day, another day no coffee.

“I wouldn't go there again.”

• It had the exercise and business facilities I wanted, a good breakfast, and reasonable price.
• I was not able to connect to their Wi-Fi internet access in my room. Maybe the problem was my computer.

• Exceptional comfort and quality for cost. Excellent value
• The coffee.

“This facility is clean, neat, very attractive and well maintained. Rooms are spacious, beds and pillows are quite comfortable, I was never aware of neighbors. My friends enjoyed the pool/hot tub. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. There is never a problem. I've stayed in many motel/hotels in many different parts of the country, and this facility is a favorite. Excellent.”

• The hot tub was not that hot.

• The Continental breakfast.
• Room was old needs to be redone.

“Called at 7 p.m. to let them know that we were still coming. "No problem we have got your room." Arrived at 10 pm. Got keys to room. Went to room, room was never cleaned from previous patron. Went back to lobby let desk clerk know. She informed me that the room across the hall had not been cleaned either. Problem with house keeper. She let me know that she would "call someone in to clean the room. I said "call someone in? How longs that going to take? Well the gal lives in Milton Free water 20 to 25 min away, then another 20 minutes to clean the room. She called the gals house husband said she's already in bed. Long story short she went through her whole list of house keepers. I asked her for another room, no all the rooms are gone. Suggestions were made what she could do for us. She told us of other hotels in the area that had rooms. After 20 minutes of calls and frustration she gave in and gave us a king suite. I said if the hotel is full than wouldn't we be putting someone else out of a room? She said yes but they are not here. I'll deal with it later. So first she encouraged us to go somewhere else then she made us feel guilty that we were taking someone else's room. Not good service. The next morning we had a message on the phone from the front desk that they needed our credit card number. I let her know that the room was already paid for. She started with questions. I told her that I had come to the lobby later. I called my credit card I had already paid for it. Had to go down let her know. She researched and said oh yeah. Just plain poor management. I wouldn't stay there again.”

• Wireless access!
• It rooms always seem to be at the end of the hallway. Hot-cold were reversed on the shower knob.

“Pleasant lobby, great mattress, frees wireless. I'd stay at the Walla Aquinas again for business or if just passing through town.”

• Very quiet, and close to everything without being downtown.
• My in-room phone wasn't working.

“The hotel clerk was really nice. Everywhere we were traveling this time of year they were remodeling, and this was no exception! The walls were totally stripped in the halls and lobby for replastering. The hotel did have a computer room available for internet access, free.”

• The check in staff was rude, not helpful.

“The motel was adequate but we needed another bed. We got a fold up bed that was ok. The breakfast was good but no restaurant close by. There are 2 within a block of the motel.”

• Good location, courteous staff.
• No heat in room -- outside temp in low 40¿s! Hot tub also ice cold. Swimming pool Luke warm., breakfast okay, all juices severely watered down.

“This hotel had potential as a decent 2 star but fell short. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Upon opening the door to our room there was a severe blast of cold air. Inspection of the window unit showed no heating controls. The desk assured us they were there. Re-inspection -- no controls. We informed the desk the said they would get it running for us while we went to dinner. On return there was a small floor heater in the room which did an adequate job. We were also highly disappointed, after our long drive and anxiousness to hit the hot tub, to find after turning on the bubbles it too was ice cold. The lobby showed some significant wear and tear such as peeling wall paper, and unfinished patches to the dry wall. There were signs to excuse our mess while we remodel. Maybe it will be nicer in the future. The morning breakfast was nice, although the juices were quite watered down. Overall, I felt significantly overcharged for what I received.”

• Nice Property - good value - good location.
• Desk Clerk, Coffee, Maintenance & no heat in pool.

“The desk clerk upon check-in won't put our party together. We had booked a reservation for two rooms. The rooms couldn't have been any further apart. The front desk was unwilling to make any changes to get the rooms closer. The coffee in the room and at breakfast was very poor. Our room had a light fixture hanging from the ceiling on bare wires. Overall the property was great for the and we had a very good time.”

• The swimming pool was unavailable due to a boiler repair.

“Bring your own toilet tissue as it is of very poor quality! There is an upscale restaurant next door and a good Mexican one across the street. It is a great location.”

• The staff is very welcoming and the hotel is very clean.
• The facilities are a bit run down: broken curtain rods, sagging beds, non modulated faucets.

“The staff is fabulous down the line but the hotel facilities are a little worn down. Breakfast is typical of chain hotels but again the staff stays on top of keeping it stocked and clean.”

• Staff blamed customer for taking the risk of booking on line as the reason for not getting their non-smoking room.

• Free Internet, fridge in room.
• Buzzing light outside, hallways a bit run down, and hideous overhead florescent lighting in room.

“Convenient location, right next to Best Western. Rooms are good size, and we liked having a fridge. Mattresses are a bit soft. Standard continental breakfast. Milk was sour, and when I asked for new milk, they refilled pitcher with sour milk.”

• Once we got to the hotel the staff was very friendly and helpful
• Because of the price I paid they were'nt willing to change from a single bed to two doubles

“I know I got a great price for this room, but they did'nt have to accept it. I called and wanted to change from i bed to two doubles and they said no. But once I got to the hotel the staff ( Wendy ) was very courteous and helpful, and she brought us a roll-a-way bed at no extra charge. The hotel was clean and neat. Everyone was helpful with directions. Breakfast was fresh and delicious.”

• Bed was a double bed and room extremely noisy.

“The staff really tried at this hotel, but I can unequivocally say this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was capsule size and the bed was a double. I am a good size man so in order for my wife and I to sleep I had to use a roll away while my wife slept in the bed. The room was also under the stairs which made it very noisy. ”
