“I am very disappointed with this hotel I will never go back it was never a parking spaces available security guards very unprofessional hallways not very clean...” May 10, 2006 by
Agatha from Santa Ana, CA
“The staff is friendly, but the area does not give you a sense of security. The parking is horrible at the hotel. You can only have wireless access on your laptop if you go outside of your room to the lobby or pool area. The room smelled of Mildew. You need a key card to enter the gate to get into the hotel parking lot to go to your room, my card was canceled after my first night there because they had put my reservation down as a 1 night stay when I had the room for 6. The antennae was broken off of my car, but luckily it was a rental and is covered. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.” Apr 29, 2006 by
Christopher from Boston, MA
“It is value for money hotel and off Century Boulevard. Great for lax stopovers.” Apr 26, 2006 by
Jennie from Stockton, CA
“Room smelled like paint. Shower knobs had cold when hot water and hot had cold water. Then I complained I got burned really bad.” Apr 10, 2006 by
Tobias from Copenhagen, CA
“This hotel had one thing, financial charm. The price was very reasonable, but since the amount of cheap airport hotels in the area is so high I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There were huge generators and pool cleaners running all night disturbing the night sleep. The area was even more uninteresting than the general airport area and to top it of the room wasn't even clean.” Apr 7, 2006 by
Kevin from San Francisco, CA
“This hotel is excellent for the price. The rooms were reasonably clean. The room that I stayed in, the toilet would sort of self flush periodically during my entire stay and the shower always dripped. The parking was always full when I returned at night, so on a couple of nights I had to park on the streets. On a Thursday night that I had to park on the street there was a no parking on Friday morning so I had to park really far away. HOWEVER, because of the price and the cleanliness of the room, my overall opinion was above average.” Apr 5, 2006 by
Rajan from San Francisco, CA
“It gave the impression of a very SEEDY hotel and on 1st impression. I was willing to walk out even before registering and loose my money. But I did check in as it was too late to look for another place. ” Apr 5, 2006 by
Charlie from Lakewood, WA
“This hotel is basically a very low budget pack packers hotel. Not really up to par for other types of travelers. Out room was fine, but others complained a lot about having things broken or not working in their rooms. Our stay in this hotel previously was very unsatisfactory. The sheets were dirty, as was the room. The hotel was noisy until late at night. We didn't rest so well.” Mar 27, 2006 by
Betsy from Holden, LA
“This looks like a older hotel, but newly redecorated and clean. It has a heated pool and nice recreational area. The hotel provides internet hook ups, which is great for business travelers. The offers of continental breakfast and breakfast upgrades along with afternoon tea and great happy hour prices are a plus. We were not there long enough to enjoy all of the above offers, but it is nice to know they are available.” Mar 18, 2006 by
Pei-Lan from Bloomington, IN
“This hotel is the worst one that we had stayed for our trips. The first night is very shock to us. The hotel looks very old and the parking lot is very small and crowded. It is very difficult to park the car without touching other people's cars. Besides, it is very noisy at night because of the outside traffic (the main road and airport) and other travelers. However, our feelings became better at the second night. Since we always came back the hotel very late at night, we did not spend too much time there. In fact, the staff kept our room very nicely, we are very appreciated that I would suggest this hotel for the student travelers since they offer the shuttles to the airport and beaches! ” Mar 13, 2006 by
Jonathan from Sioux Center, IA
“If you enjoy noise, this could be the place for you. Boogie the night away to the CD Juke Box, and then listen to planes landing at LAX, the hotel is convenient for the flight path. Rooms are comfortable and clean, there is free coffee and a muffin in the mornings.” Mar 3, 2006 by
Mike from Alexandria, VA
“There's a thin line between funky and sketchy. This time it was the other side of the line. The security guard was complaining of bedbugs, scratching himself constantly. The entire staff was just fired, so everyone is new. Basically this is a youth hostel that has aspirations of becoming a motel someday.” Mar 1, 2006 by
Janelle from La Verne, CA
“This hotel is obviously intended for international travelers or those who do not want to pay much.” Feb 27, 2006 by
Alex from Taylorsville, UT
“Kind of a bad neighborhood but ok rooms I wish that they would have had more wash clothes for my room I did not have 1. But they got me to the air port and I didn't die so I guess that it was ok.” Feb 27, 2006 by
Anonomous from Tucson, AZ
“This place is not a safe place to take your family, in fact, if you are hiding from the law, a molester, rapist, or drug dealer, then this place is just for you where the staff just doesn't seem to mind. Enjoy the filthy rooms where the booze stains from the last tenant are still on the coffee table and the bed with the thinning sheets and blanket look like they are only changed if the tenant is sober enough to notice. Motel 6 beats this place hands down, not that they are a "nice" hotel, I'm sure they have their share of hooker problems, but at least they have a clean room and clean sheets.” Feb 26, 2006 by
Carl from Hot Springs, AR
“Hotel had the parking lot gated and there were no spaces. Did not feel safe in hotel!” Feb 24, 2006 by
Olukayode from Playa Vista, CA
“They do not bother to give a non-smoking room. I was smelling someone smoking weed close to my room. The staffs are manner less and rude. I stayed in the restaurant for over 30 mins. and no waiter came to attend to me. I do not want to ever ever go back to that hotel, they do not have parking spaces, the neighborhood does not look safe.” Feb 23, 2006 by

“The staff at the Trade winds are very friendly but the hotel has problems. My room smelled very musty, there must have been a water leak somewhere. Paint was dirty everywhere and peeling in the bathroom. The phone did not work. There was no clock in the room. The door lock latch was broken off. And the shuttle was not as often as they told me. The internet rate for the hotel is $49.99! ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 19, 2006 by

“Very friendly comfortable rooms bar and restaurant loved the people and management would love to stay there again and will definitely tell others.” Feb 15, 2006 by
Diganta from Phoenix, AZ
“A good value for money.” Feb 13, 2006 by
Rick from Harrisburg, PA
“This was a scam of a hotel. It was loud until late at night, my window was rusted open and it was very much not family friendly. There was also no remote control for the TV, the staff said many of the rooms don't have remotes and they couldn't find one for me. I am 6 foot and 240 lbs. and I was a little nervous going to my car late at night. ” Feb 8, 2006 by
Lilia from National City, CA
“The rooms were really nice they were 2 room suites for an affordable price. Staff was extremely rude one security personnel was drunk, and the parking area had little space to drive through and little space to park or none at all. I have experience in pool maintenance and the pool could have very well been a health hazard.” Jan 16, 2006 by
Joe from Lasalle, MI
“The security fence provided me with a sense of security for my car but left me with a hint of uneasiness for the possibility of crime in this area.” Jan 16, 2006 by
James from Los Angeles, CA
“Nice, comfortable, affordable. Staff exceptional.” Jan 16, 2006 by
Tim from Albuquerque, NM
“This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. I would never recommend it to anyone. It was such a gross hotel and a terrible atmosphere that we almost did not stay, but we did not want to lose our money. They couldn't even find our reservation! It was an absolute waste of money and we hardly slept before a long trip. We packed hotel and music from the bar playing loud until 2 AM with people selling drugs and doing other illegal activities on the hotel premises. ” Jan 14, 2006 by
Ryan from Hemet, CA
“This place felt more like a Hostel than a hotel. The front desk did not have my information on file and had to wing it to get me a room. Although clean, the hotel is obviously old. The windows don't hold in heat, so the room was very cold. Good thing it was not a cold night. The sink and shower were of a poor quality.” Jan 14, 2006 by
Jorge from San Diego, CA
“Bad- really bad.” Jan 7, 2006 by

“Lousy place. Won't stay there again ever.” Jan 2, 2006 by
Charlene from Honolulu, HI
“We felt so dirty in the room. We didn't want to touch anything. The shower didn't drain well and we didn't want to stand in the water. The only good thing is that we only had to spend about 4 or 5 hours there--just to sleep and leave for the airport early in the morning.” Jul 26, 2005 by
Ramon from Oklahoma City, OK
“The air cond. didn't work, half the electrical outlets didn't work either the parking lot was really crammed up the tv remote also didn't work I really didn't like this hotel at all.” Jul 18, 2005 by
Chen from N Charleston, SC
“Basically, It's a good choice for saving money” May 23, 2005 by
Elizabeth from Modesto, CA
“They say they have all kinds of free food, they don't have, they say they have 2 room suites they are not. They are not in the airport area, they are in downtown Inglewood. Bad area! ” May 23, 2005 by
Rod from Bakersfield, CA “Did not have reservation - no room available sent me to a motel down the street. Not a good experience. Left valuable in room. Returned to find and was not found.” May 22, 2005 by
John from San Francisco, CA
“There was no room for me at the hotel when I arrived, and I was sent to a motel of lesser quality and amenities about a mile down the road. I got the impression that this problem occurs regularly at the LA Adventurer accomodation.”
