• Clean, comfortable bed.
• Website had flat screen TV/room didn't & parking fee.

“Clean, bed comfortable. The room had an older TV, not the flat screen advertised on their website. The parking fee was too high, $14.00/day and we didn't expect that since we were not staying in a major downtown location. Also, we expected complimentary internet connection but it was, I think, $12.95 for 24 hours. They did have free wifi in the lounge area where Starbucks was but to me it was inconvenient.”

• It's Marriott-Outstanding hotel.
• Parking is too expensive-parked on the street.

“I only stay to sleep for 6 to 8 hours a night and the hotel offers many amenities that I don't have time to utilize. It's an experience that delighted me very much, though I was physically there for just a few short hours. HD TV was very attractive and downstairs bar area is just outstanding, though not used by this traveler.”

• Marriott Hotel Torrance provided me a beautiful view room, King size bed that was beyond comfortable. Very clean. By myself, but felt a King!
• Self parking $15.00---parked on side street-paid $70.00 to stay from 8:30PM till 4:15AM couldn't see $15.00.

“Been in many Marriott Hotels and this one is exceptional. The water feature in the main lobby is really beautiful with gorgeous wood trimming, special plants etc. It's a fine hotel and the accommodations for my limited stay were most enjoyable. It will be a great pleasure to return again. I work 12 hour shifts and commute daily from Temecula (180 miles round trip). I take one night a week to get some needed rest from the drive. Thanks for providing a great value for me!”

• Excellent people skills by almost all of the staff we encountered.
• We had not counted on spending 12 dollars/day for parking when we were in a 21/2 star hotel.

• The quality of the hotel for the money.

• They gave us a room.
• The room was old and quite dirty. I don't mind staying in an older hotel but the bathrooms were very dirty, the carpet felt sticky.

“It was a terrible experience, I was treated rudely and was lied to. When I arrived, I was told that the hotel was overbooked. Actually the first question asked by the night manager, "How did you arrive here? By taxi?" It ended up the manager was inquiring to find out how easily I could leave the hotel to find another place to stay. It was late, my boyfriend and I were tired, and we were turned away. While we were waiting, another group of people who tried to check in raised a very big fuss and ended up getting rooms at the Torrance Marriott. Classy.”

• The bed and pillows were amazing.
• I did not receive a statement or itemized bill. The room could have been a bit bigger.

“I loved the bed, pillows, bedding. I slept well. I would stay again for that alone. The room was clean. I am now a fan of Marriott and will stay there whenever possible.”

• I really loved the room; the bedding especially. I was able to get a really good sleep; very relaxing.

“The front desk associates were very pleasant and helpful in getting registered for our stay. Although we spent a very short while at the hotel everything from check-in to use of the business center to check-out was impressing. Will definitely seek accommodations there again!”

• I found pills of some kind under to bed that did not belong to me. Since I had small children with me I was glad that I found them not my children.

“I wanted to extend my stay by one night and was told by one of the front desk receptionists that I could do this for the same price, however, when air later attempted to arrange this, I was told that the price would be at leas double what I was paying, hence I check out.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at the Torrance Marriott. Everyone we interacted with on the hotel staff was great and made our stay very pleasant. The hotel is within a number of different shops and restaurants which was wonderful. Overall, we had a great stay.”

• Loved the fruit flavored water in the lobby and the indoor and outdoor pool.
• I extended my stay and they did not give me the same rate. A hotel employee knocked on our door at 3 am.

“Overall the hotel was very nice. It appears to have a hopping night club on the weekends. The location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. I was not pleased with how the hotel staff worked. I extended my stay by one night and they would not honor the original rate that they gave me. Also, due to a mix up in someone else's reservations, a hotel employee knocked on our door and used a pass key to enter our room at 3 am. Luckily we had the security bolt thrown or he would have walked in on us while we were sleeping. My stay began very nice, but ended on a very sour note so I view this hotel with a bit of disdain.”

• Nice hair products, aromatherapy, nice view from 17th floor.
• The room was very hot when we got in. the air conditioner didn't work. We got lucky that it was cold that day. We opened the windows.

“It was a very nice hotel close to our destination, The Skating Edge in Harbor City. It was very close to the mall and eateries. The service was very professional.”

• The restaurants were excellent, the location was very convenient.
• Room cards did not work, had to get new ones halfway through our stay.

“This hotel met our needs and goals of staying in the area. It is centrally located and convenient to both the mall and the beach. It is very clean and the surroundings are tidy in a good part of town. Not any complaints.”

• Extremely professional and friendly staff. Very comfortable, great location.
• Elevators took a long time and no ice bucket in room. Book of Mormon in room.

“Recently remodeled rooms were great. Beds are absolutely wonderful. I'm thinking about buying the bedding. Very comfy. The toiletries in the bathroom are bath and body works brand, so we enjoyed those. The hotel staff is very professional, friendly and overall, amicable sums their demeanor up. They are really service oriented and actually seem to enjoy their jobs. Great location, right across the street from a huge mall. 2 miles from Redondo Beach. Nice part of town. We will stay there again and would recommend it. It's not luxurious like a boutique hotel, or a resort, but it's clean, very comfortable, friendly.”

• It was the most comfortable bed that I've ever slept on.
• Valet parking was $15 per night.

“The overall facility was great but my room was not as clean as I would expect from a Mariott. The sheets had stains on them and looked like they had not been washed properly so I ended up sleeping on top of the bed.”
