“This hotel was o.k. but the kitchen decor looked very dated. The cleaning crew did not speak fluent English and the rooms were not as clean as they could have been. The other hotel rooms had slippers on the doormat or strollers parked outside, giving the impression that this was an apartment building not a hotel, left a negative impression of this hotel. Also, the pet hair in the room and inside the refrigerator was a total turnoff. People should not be allowed to have pets in the hotel. I am a dog owner (2 dogs) and even I, was bothered by this policy to allow pets. It grossed me out to find pet hair in the room!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 23, 2007 by

“I had a bad experience in this hotel. Upon our check in it took us 30 minutes before we got our room, I've been seeing other guests getting their room right away but not for me. I asked what's taking it so long because my kids are getting cranky after a long drive. On the late afternoon, I accompanied my son to go swimming, then he saw a poop in the pool, as well as the other guests there, it was nasty! All of us there left the pool and reported it, it took a few minutes before the maintenance came in to take the poop out of the pool, we didn't see the rest, did they just took it out and that's it or did they change the water at all? We don't know. After checking out, I thought the experience of our stay there is done but I was wrong! There was a charge in my credit card from the hotel! I was talking to the hotel guest representative then she put me on hold, I was patiently waiting to get things done but it was already 20 minutes and my call is long distance, I did not appreciate her not giving the courtesy that it would take a while, the line got disconnected. I called again and one hotel rep. said that the rep. I was talking to is still with the manager and held me for another 25 minutes. Finally, the hotel rep. went back to line, I was expecting that I would get an answer, I was wrong because all she said is that for me to call back the next day because they don't know why they charge me, she ask me to talk to their G.M. to get an answer. So I said "after 45mins of waiting and you said you were discussing the issue to your manager, this is what I get?" she really insisted for me to call tomorrow. Duh?! I am so disappointed with the hotel. I've been purchasing hotel.” Jul 7, 2007 by

“It was better than what we had expected for a 2.5 star hotel, especially for the low price compared to what other people had paid for hotels around the area that weren't as nice.” Jun 18, 2007 by
Angel from Victorville, CA
“I would recommend it to others for stay.” Jun 1, 2007 by

“I would recommend this hotel to other people to stay at. The staff was were verily friendly and accommodating to my special needs. I left some medication at the hotel and they were very helpful in assisting me to get it back. My family and I enjoyed our stay.” May 29, 2007 by

“This motel is very clean, in a very good central location, close to the mall and close to the beach.” Feb 16, 2006 by
Adelle from Los Angeles, CA
“As a business traveler who stays at more than 30 hotels each year, the Residence Inn is very cozy. Each room is spacious enough for a family of 4. And with a cute kitchen, nice size sofa, TV, on-demand movies, internet access, comfortable beds and plenty of pillows, it makes for a great place to stay when traveling on business or with family. I had a great time. The complimentary breakfast is better than most I have had. The grounds are kept clean, as are the rooms, the pool, the gym and other facilities. The only down side of this hotel was the staff. Not friendly at all.” Feb 14, 2006 by
Pat from Clovis, CA
“Spacious clean rooms. Neatly kept grounds. Kitchenettes are convenient to have.” Dec 8, 2005 by

“Although this was a business trip, I was impressed by the room's size, kitchen, and fireplace. I thought it was a great place to stay and will look for a Residence Inn when traveling with my family.” Oct 26, 2005 by
Joseph from Puunene, HI
“It was a very charming place to stay, wish we booked it for more days. We didn't make it to the breakfast because the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get out. I like the way the hotel was set up in small cubbies. Two stories tall, not like big hotels that are 17 to 18 stories high. The grass areas were neat and tidy. The color's inside were warm and inviting. We will stay there again in the future.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 6, 2005 by

“The residence Inn was above all our expectations from the physical surroundings, to location, to the amenities. Not only did they have a full breakfast buffet also a light dinner with drinks. It is right across Restaurant Row and traffic was not bad getting across the street. The staff was extremely quick to accommodate our needs and smiled!! It was a great week. Thanks” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
