• Location.
• Roaches.

“Unfortunately, I did not do my due diligence by researching this Days Inn before selecting it. Most reviews were unfavorable. The shower/tub water control did not work in the first room that I was given. Two live roaches were spotted around 1:30a. on the nightstand (second room). One large roach was seen on the same night stand around 8:30. Also, the room smelled stale, like an old tavern and the towels were limited, I did not sleep well due to the bugs. In fact, I got out of this room as fast as possible. Roaches are unacceptable, no matter how economic the motel is. This place is a dump. Lastly, both the maid and the desk clerk made excuses for the roaches. Said the clerk: I'm sorry the rain most have caused them. Total nonsense.”

• The night clerk I spoke with was very helpful, safety, quiet area.
• Wish they had an office area for guests traveling w/o laptops to check e-mails, maps, etc.

• It was close enough to the beach, that was the only positive thing about staying there.
• Very dirty, walls were very thin, sheets were not clean, bathroom floor was dirty and food on the floor from previous guests.

“Staff inside the lobby was very friendly but the overall hotel was a dive! I am very disappointed for the money spent. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy.”

• Close to beach.
• The front door hits the end of one of the beds as you enter the room.

“I would not stay at this hotel again, this room was not what me and my family expected, for one the beds were supposed to be queen sized bed but were (full) sized. The bathroom door would not shut or lock, also found insects in the room. To sum this trip up for me and my family was very disappointing based on what we received.”

• The Jacuzzi and the bed.
• The staff.

“The hotel itself was great unfortunately the staff is not customer friendly. I was missed quoted about the additional night I wanted to stay which resulted in over a charge. The receptionist that was there during my original check out date told me one quote and the relieving receptionist quoted a higher price. The staff needs better training on company policies and prices on rooms as well as customer service.”

“The room was a disappointment. Everything was somewhat out of place. Even the construction of the toilet bowl was crooked. I am never going to that hotel again.”

• Extra service and friendliness.
• Need more parking spaces on lot.

“Made reservation at 4 pm in San Jose. Due to heavy fog, I arrived at 3 am at hotel. I needed 2 beds. Attendant gave the best room available with 2 beds, each in big separated rooms.”

• Very friendly staff, wonderful Indian dining in same location.
• Peeling wallpaper-not really clean on bathroom floor corners and crevices.

• It has a pool.
• Too many teenagers allowed to be loud &disruptive.

“Hotel stay was OK, staff was friendly but they did not care about teenagers running a muck. they were right outside my room and were very loud. They were partying on the balconies. maybe the hotel should look into security services.”

• The pool was child friendly.
• The walls were very thin.

“The hotel feels very dirty and there was nothing "updated" in terms of aesthetics. The reception area had mismatched furniture and repair work on tiling and in the bathrooms was very poor. In the morning you could here other guests' alarm clocks, people showering, and even muted conversations from other rooms. Definitely not a place to get a comfortable night sleep.”

• Staff was very polite and courteous.
• Ants in the bathroom, cigarette burns on tub/commode.

“Hotel was exactly where I needed to be located for this trip. I booked a non-smoking room and did not receive that type of room, unless by non-smoking you mean they put the ashtray outside before I arrived. Staff member on my arrival was excellent.”

• Good Location
• Kind of shabby, ashtrays and trash cans need to be emptied etc.

“Good location for business, friendly desk person. but needs a clean up as it is old and dirty. Only dial up Internet and does not work very well. I stayed three nights and was glad to be gone! However one night would be ok as a quick stay over . Price is right for what you get in that area.”

• No outside window view, our room was to an inner wall.
