“The room was very nicely decorated and clean. Absolutely loved the pool area. Location was close to the tourist areas - short drive to Walk of Fame, Grumman's Chinese Theater etc.”

• Great, central West Hollywood location, clean and comfortable.
• No personnel monitoring the parking structure. As two young adult female travelers we didn't feel 100% safe in the parking structure.

“Easy check-in. Great location - minutes drive/walk to Hollywood must-see sites - Sunset Plaza, Hollywood Blvd, The Grove, Beverly Hills. Parking garage structures not clearly marked; also, located off a side street behind the building and structures not secure - didn't feel very safe parking car and walking into building. Elevators were slow, better off walking the stairs. Despite the minor inconveniences, The Best Western Sunset Plaza's price, location, cleanliness and comfort are unbeatable in my opinion.”

• The hotel was very clean and right in the middle of a lot of attractions.
• The hotel desk clerk was very rude and confrontational and the $12 parking fee.

“Despite the rude Hotel front desk clerk it was a very nice place to stay the room was a little small but very clean and walking distance from many attractions and restaurants. I would stay here again.”

• Location. Staff service was very prompt.
• Parking spaces was tight.

“Very nice hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the area. we were pleasantly surprised and happy with our decision.”

• My room did not smell bad at all. The room was quiet away from the street.
• It had stale air in the hallway on the 2nd floor. (My room was on the 2nd floor.) The parking spot was tiny, so you had to be careful.

“The location of the hotel was central. I did not have a view at all which was okay. The room was quiet at night which was good. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• LOCATION was great for Hollywood. Comfortable rooms.
• Actually nothing bad to say, great stay.

• Great location and pretty landscaping.
• I requested non-smoking, but was given a smoking room. Parking spaces tiny.

“This hotel had a great location on Sunset Strip. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice and surrounded by flowers. For being on Sunset, you did not hear a lot of traffic - I felt isolated from the street in a good way. The three things I did not like were: the parking lot was crowded and the spaces very narrow so it was hard to maneuver (particularly since our rental car was an SUV). I requested a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room. We were on the bottom floor and at various times it sounded like a stampede going on in the room above - for an hour or two at a time. But overall, this was a great hotel that I would recommend to others and one that I would definitely enjoy a return visit.”

• The guest parking was sparse.

“I was apprehensive about booking at the best western in general. I could hardly believe it when we checked in! This hotel was fully renovated, in a great location next door to the house of blues right in the middle of the sunset strip! The pool area was gorgeous with a ton of flowers in bloom, the continental breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay for our weekend.”
