• Comfortable bed, rooms with open able windows.
• Everything costs extra, parking, food and water, internet, copy, and fax, fridge.

“This is a typical poor air quality airport hotel. This place seems great but after the first hour or two, the appearance is deceiving. The rooms I attempted to switch into had poorer problems such as no windows that open, loud neighbors, lack of privacy, water damaged ceilings, and smoke smells. There was a leak in the ceiling above a bucket underneath catching the water in the hallway. I think if you drive a little farther it's worth it for the air. I do not recommend this place.”

• The atmosphere was very nice.
• The bathroom fixtures were old and some what worn.

“This hotel is in a very good location and offers many amenities. If you want a cocktail in the lounge or to relax at a restaurant it is available. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day, great perk! The hotel was clean and friendly. The parking attendants were a little crabby and pushy but overall a very good experience.”

• Walls very thin. We were kept up by parties in the next room.

• It was very close to the Las.
• Well rooms were fine but bathrooms were updated but needed to remodel as they still look old.

“Over all hotel was great, just needs some remodeling to do. As they have remodeled rooms but bathrooms that much.”

• The hotel was beautiful and very clean.
• The valet parking was bad, the showers didn't give consistent hot water, we weren't warned about the secret service camping out on our floor.

“Although we made the best of it, the valet parking put a damper on our stay. At times it took us 30 minutes to pull into the hotel and 15 minutes after calling down to have our car delivered. Also, we had to call for toiletries, there were no extra towels and we had to request our room to be made up for the next day stay.”

“I also stayed at the Hilton in San Francisco (4star) and this one was a 3 star. I felt like the ratings were reversed even given the health spa in SF. Staff in LA were nicer, the hotel was cleaner and the atmosphere was much less frantic.”

• The hotel was close to LAX and convenient to the freeway.
• The parking was high.

“For the price the hotel was great. The room was clean and nicely decorated though the bathroom was very small. The staff was friendly and helpful. That is a very big plus. There was hardly any information on local attractions. Not so good.”

• Hot tub could be warmer, grout cleaner in the bathroom.

“The hotel has very nice rooms. Know that you'll have to pay $17/night for parking here, which makes this hotel not as great as it could be. Also, the check in can take a long time if many travelers are arriving or returning at the same time.”

• The cleaning staff was polite and the location was convenient for my needs.
• The hotel staff was unable to provide hair conditioner in my room for the duration of my stay despite my daily request they only delivered it once.

“The only positives about this hotel were the convenience of location and the politeness of the cleaning staff. The self parking fee is outrageous, the pool was out-of-service and I was neither notified nor offered an alternative, the hotel clothes dryer was not working and no one came to address the issue despite my multiple calls, the hotel food was sub-par, the room amenities did not include hair conditioner for the duration of my stay and the front desk staff only delivered it to my room once despite my daily (or twice daily) requests, and the rooms and hotel in general were shabby. I have stayed in several hotels near the LAX and this was by far the least pleasant and most disappointing experience. I would not recommend it.”

• The bed and linens were extremely comfortable.
• I was automatically put in a smoking room without being asked my preference.

“If you need to stay near LAX, this is an excellent choice. Accommodations are comfortable and clean, though unexceptional. All I cared about was a place to sleep, and the bedding was extremely comfortable, and the room sound proof despite its proximity to the airport.”

• Location - very close to LAX - but not at all noisy.
• Tub was not cleaned after last guest; not discovered until about to shower in the morning.

“Overall stay was terrific. Staff was courteous and professional; amenities were wonderful; excellent night's rest. Only complaint was regarding tub enclosure not being cleaned after previous guest. Reported to management, but as I was checking out there was little they could do. Staff was extremely apologetic. I would not hesitate to stay here again.”

“This hotel is not worth the standard price. I'm glad. The valet parking is way too expensive and the air conditioning didn't work. The positive was the staff. Very helpful and friendly. Ocean was a short walk and there are convenient places to walk to for a late night snack or drink.”

• Valet took too long to bring car around.

“The room was spacious and very clean, and had a huge bathroom - great for two people traveling together. Front desk staff were gracious, friendly, and helpful. Public spaces were elegant, but not overdone. Didn't have time to try the restaurant or shops, but I would expect them to be on a par with the rest of the hotel.”

• Close to airport with free shuttle.
• Parking is $18.00/day.

“I had to ask for a bellman. They did not come to my vehicle even though I parked at the front door. I was dropped off. The front desk did not tell the bellman my room number so I called the bellman after 1 hour to get my bags. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours per days and it is free and I took it at 6:00 am so that was a plus. It does stop at another hotel however so allow at least 15 minutes for that.”
