- The cleaning staff was polite and the location was convenient for my needs.
- The hotel staff was unable to provide hair conditioner in my room for the duration of my stay despite my daily request they only delivered it once.
“The only positives about this hotel were the convenience of location and the politeness of the cleaning staff. The self parking fee is outrageous, the pool was out-of-service and I was neither notified nor offered an alternative, the hotel clothes dryer was not working and no one came to address the issue despite my multiple calls, the hotel food was sub-par, the room amenities did not include hair conditioner for the duration of my stay and the front desk staff only delivered it to my room once despite my daily (or twice daily) requests, and the rooms and hotel in general were shabby. I have stayed in several hotels near the LAX and this was by far the least pleasant and most disappointing experience. I would not recommend it.”

- I was automatically put in a smoking room without being asked my preference.
“If you need to stay near LAX, this is an excellent choice. Accommodations are comfortable and clean, though unexceptional. All I cared about was a place to sleep, and the bedding was extremely comfortable, and the room sound proof despite its proximity to the airport.”

- Tub was not cleaned after last guest; not discovered until about to shower in the morning.
“Overall stay was terrific. Staff was courteous and professional; amenities were wonderful; excellent night's rest. Only complaint was regarding tub enclosure not being cleaned after previous guest. Reported to management, but as I was checking out there was little they could do. Staff was extremely apologetic. I would not hesitate to stay here again.”

- Parking is $18.00/day.
“I had to ask for a bellman. They did not come to my vehicle even though I parked at the front door. I was dropped off. The front desk did not tell the bellman my room number so I called the bellman after 1 hour to get my bags. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours per days and it is free and I took it at 6:00 am so that was a plus. It does stop at another hotel however so allow at least 15 minutes for that.”

- T The bed was awesome; very comfortable. The room and lobby was very nice except the bathroom in my room.
- The bathroom was clean, but very old with outdated plumbing and chipped paint.
“This was a very nice hotel. Valet service cost $22/day but was worth it considering it cost $17 to park yourself. We ordered room service as an extravagance, but was disappointed because the food was cold and the smoothie was hot. Not worth the money. Overall we had a very nice stay. It was convenient to be so close to the airport. Did not hear airplanes at all. Concierge was very helpful in getting addresses/directions. I had a difficult time getting a safety pin. They need to keep a supply at the front desk.”

- It is close to LAX and is clean and has a shuttle that takes you directly to the airport.
- The surrounding area is close to the airport so it is not the most appealing area.

- The lobby is gorgeous.
- The beds are too small.
“Overall this is a beautiful place to stay. We didn't enjoy our time there because they were painting the pool and it was closed. They didn't offer an alternative place to swim, as some hotels do. The A/C & heating unit was really old and it took a while to kick-in. I don't have any other complaints, other than some hotels offer two double beds and those are too small for two people in my opinion.”

“This hotel should not be a Hilton, the lobby is nice but the rooms are dated. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear the pretty much everything in the other room. The carpeted floor on the 5th floor was covered with water. I was so annoyed I went home early.”

- Front desk staff & manager were rude.
“I would not recommend this property to anyone that I know. I found two of the front desk clerks to be extremely rude, and when I spoke with the manager regarding this issue, he seemed to be impatient & annoyed. I was also very disappointed that we were not told that the swimming pool was under construction, until we checked in. Had we known that, we would have chosen another hotel. I was so unhappy with our stay, I sent an email to Hilton to make them aware of it.”

“I was absolutely shocked that for price, I got the equivalent of a palace. Though it took a long time to wait in line for it, the room itself was great. The bed was big and comfortable, the room was spacious, and everything was spotless. The Bistro downstairs is open 24/7 for us late night munchers. The airport shuttle was a long time coming in both directions and completely packed as well. The internet here is not free either, as it is in most other hotels these days. But I still immensely enjoyed my short stay and I would definitely come again for the price.”

- Location, quality of the hotel and quick access to airport.
- Cleanliness of under the beds. Had not been vacuumed as there was an old sneak under a bed.
“The location and quality of the hotel was excellent. Our room and location was perfect. The customer service and shuttle to the airport definitely met our needs. My child was a little spooked by a large sneaker under her bed, indicating that there was no vacuuming under the beds. That was the only mistake.”

- Convenient location for my needs.
- Room was filthy when we checked in.
“This hotel has a very nice outer package, but once inside left much to be desired. The room was filthy when we checked in. They then switched us to another room identical to the first after they offered to better our room and put us on a higher floor. Parking was $17 per night in their own parking lot and the food at the cafe was way overpriced. Internet access should never be $13.00 per night! While we were there, the pool and Jacuzzi were both closed for repainting as well. Was very disappointing after a long hot day.”

- The way the smoking rooms were located on the 3rd floor around pool, was cool.
- Old decor, TV too small in bar, congested elevators and concierge desk.
“Confusing parking ticket policy, need to go to front desk to validate, sitting on toilet in my room, as you gaze down at floor, I saw people "hairs", not mine. Room decor cheap, at least a flat screen TV, but not an LCD. Honors breakfast buffet/dinner reception cheap, nicer at embassy, tables left dirty no place to sit, staffed by 1 worker and the concierge who just sits and can see things needs to be done, but doesn't. Expensive cocktails 8.25, cheaper in Hawaii. No honor bar, freezer, drain tray in refrigerator. Full w/water, gross. Refrigerator not plugged in.”
