  • Great bed. Great room.
  • The sink in the bathroom is rusting. The toilet seat was not flushed properly. Had toilet paper in it.

“Given the price, this hotel is excellent. The only not-too-nice stuff is that you have to pay for internet. So if I were to pay for this hotel at a normal rate, I would have been upset by the lack of free access to internet.”

  • The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
  • The bathrooms were dingy and needed to be updated.

“Overall, it's not bad for a night or two, especially if you are a business traveler, but if you are vacationing in the area, I would recommend staying further away from the airport. The area is not the best to be in!”

  • Dining, gym, and other amenities were conveniently located.
  • Not enough elevators and it was to far from anywhere I needed to go.

“My stay at this hotel was over all quite pleasant. The bar, dining, gym, and other amenities were conveniently located in the hotel although they were a little expensive. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are a little small, so if you're with two or more there's no room to get ready at the same time in the morning.”

  • The Hotel was quiet and I enjoyed the functionality of the rooms television.
  • There was a very fine coat of dust on everything in the room.

“Initial visual presentation is appropriate for a large hotel on a main street very near a large airport. However, there is some kind of remodeling being done on the 13th floor and I was offered a room there first.”

  • As always a great stay. Comfortable bed!
  • Supposedly there was a fire during my stay, except I never heard the alarm go off!

  • Very professional and friendly and readily helpful staff from operator to front desk and outdoor staff.
  • The carpet in hallway was fine but in room was not fresh.

  • I like that the hotel employees worked with me.
  • I was near the Los Angeles airport (LAX) and I could hear planes when they flying in and out of the airport.

“The hotel staff are excellent. It is great business or leisure. The hotels staff worked with me and helped me navigate through the city. This was very helpful in a city as big as Los Angeles.”

  • Comfortable mattress and I liked having a HUGE shared patio.

  • The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport.
  • The parking is too expensive.

“My stay at this hotel was pleasant and without incident. I did notice a musty, damp mildew smell near the doorway and and the bathroom. This never seemed to go away. The bed was comfortable and the room was decent, but not quite as luxurious as you would expect from a Hilton.”

  • The lobby was beautiful
  • The fake wood in the rooms was unattractive

“The initial impression of the hotel was lovely. The lobby was very beautiful with lots of brass and shiny marble tile, very clean. The room left a little something to be desired, however, as the bathroom door was unable to latch, we did not have cups to use in the bathroom and we had to pay for internet access. For our less than 24 hour stay, it was a fine hotel, but for any longer, I would not have been very happy.”

  • Was given a handicapped room & took some doing to get it changed to a regular room.

“Not particularly friendly at front desk, had another guest walk into the handicapped room we were given as we were packing our stuff to move to a regular room, old & noisy air conditioning, older model TV.”

  • Staff-friendly, bed-comfortable.
  • Kiosk checkin didnt print parking pass; hotel showing age; they tried to charge me for a dinner I never had.

“The hotel is nice enough and was a good deal, but I wouldn't pay much more for it. The room was comfortable, but the hallways seemed old. The lobby was very lush, but it doesn't redeem the absurd $18/night parking fee. Very convenient to the airport, if you're into that.”

  • Large room.
  • Tried to refuse me valet parking, saying airport parkers had filled up all space.

“Recently redecorated. Just turning over the rooms as quickly as possible. An airport hotel in all the bad senses of the word. They don't expect to see you again, so service is minimal. Room not made up one day.”

  • Comfortable bed, shuttle, LAX location.
  • Charge for WiFi.

“Attractive and comfortable, with good shuttle service close to LAX. They will however nickel and dime you for every convenience you may need on the road. The charge for WiFi is absurd, a pretty standard extra anymore. Also wasn't real impressed that they couldn't charge me 2 lousy extra dollars in exchange for cash to tip the can driver.”

  • Beautiful property and nice rooms.
  • Parking is down below and not convenient.

“Nice hotel, however when leaving the airport long term parking the machine charged me too much. I phoned and they assured me a phone call back the next day and still has not called. Be careful where you park there as it could be more than they said. Shuttle was great and timely both ways to the airport and close by.”

  • Waited over an hour for our room despite arriving after 11pm with late arrival guarantee.

“Hotel is very nice and convenient to airport. Staff was courteous but could not provide rooms to many guests for well over an hour despite the late arrival room guarantee. At 11PM, the waiting list for a room had over 20 names on it and more continued to be added even after midnight. This is inexcusable for a high quality hotel.”

  • Comfy beds.
  • They had a planned power outage and staff was uninformed as to how it would be handled.

“The power outage was from 3am to 5am, which was a convenient time for most folks. The staff had to scramble to inform us of what we needed to do. There seem to be no master plan but out by management. It took several inquiries of different people and then it appeared I was basically on my own. A flashlight was brought to the room an hour after I had fallen asleep. When we didn't answer the knock at the door, we got a phone call asking if we wanted a flashlight. I wasn't too happy about that.”

  • The lobby area and the restuarant were beautifuly decorated.
  • The High speed connection fees and in and out parking frees were expensive.

“Thought the hotel was located at LAX airport, yet it had easy access to major parts of the city. The first room they assigned to us was not ready. They rewarded us with a concession.
The staff treated us courteously when we complained about AC and took immidiate action. Overall, we had a good experience.”

  • A fitness center, where everything works. Good food!

“We were on a Christmas gift trip with our son and his family to Fiji, and this was our stop-over hotel both ways, since we had to fly out from Maine to the West Coast. The trip to Fiji was a gift to us, but we paid for air fare and hotel from East to West coast and had to keep the budget in mind.”

  • The bar and cafe were open later than the other restaurants in the area where I previously stayed.
  • The breakfast buffet was a little pricey and not as good as other area hotel I have stayed.
